No joy with getting fault fixed

I despair. I'm stuck in an endless loop with trying to get BT to get Openreach to fix the fault on my line which has been present since November.
I seem to get random responses from the call centre on 151 with no apparent ability to actually progress a resolution.
I've had a time to fix of "by the end of the day", 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 days, 5 days. The deadlines are always missed and calls not returned. I've also been cut off by the call centre multiple times
I've had "no fault", "fault assigned" " fault repaired" , "fault cleared" all in random order.
I depend on this line for my income and need it fixed. What can I do next to get past the useless call centre?

Sparrow is right.  But I have some more advice.

What you are experiencing is BT Customer Service 101: lie to the Customer by telling them anything they want to hear to get them off the phone.  Normally the person won't update the account notes to even state that you called.
What you have to do is immediately after a Customer Service agent tells you something, call back and you will be connected to another agent.  Ask them what the status of your account is and what is being done - if they don't tell you the same thing as the other agent this means that the other agent lied and didn't even bother recording any account notes of the call (this is literally what happens 90% of the time).  
This is basically how BT Customer Service works.  You just have to keep pounding and pounding and pounding away over a number of days.  Eventually you will reach the 1 Customer Service Agent out of 100 who will actually do something.
The mod's on here will respond (but only after a number of days).  You can also post to BT's Twitter and you'll get a response pretty quickly.
These are the only ways of getting anything done - the normal BT Complaint's process just sees your messages go a computer sitting in the middle of an empty warehouse and you will literally not get a response.  Good luck!

    Restart the Mac and hold down Command+Option+R. Choose to reinstall OS X. The version of OS X your Mac came with will be installed.

    Only Apple could hamstring and tie Mac OS to Windows. There isn't any other than whether you can download the drivers into Windows (you can) but Apple puts a block on the installer setup even if your mac does not support it.
    Windows 7 needs at least Boot Camp 3.1 and 3.3 is what you should already have. And you are not getting security updates if you don't have at least 10.6.8 as was pointed out.  --- you arent using Software Update as you should. And you should backup and clone Mac (and Windows) as well.
    You need Mountain Lion to use Boot Camp 5.x which supports Windows 7 & 8 and 64-bit.
    I would upgrade to Lion if you can realizing that Rosetta and PowerPC are no longer supported though.

    That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
    Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots  and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

    The  site will NOT let me post in the  "flash player" forum. When I open the  list of forums to post in, I see  flash player listed, but it is grey  in color and you can not click on  it. Under the scroll box that gives  you the choices of forums to post  your question in you see this:
    "Why are some locations grayed out?                                                This means that you can view content in these locations, but may not   have access to post to them. Or, the content type you've chosen is not   available there (i.e. trying to put a blog post in a project where  blogs  are turned off). Also to move content to "Your documents",  "Private  discussions" or "Your Videos" you have to be the author."
    So   tell me HOW the hell am I supposed to post in that forum, when it is   not letting me?  I have had   this problem since back in April, I have tried posting to get help and   all I get is complaints I posted in the wrong place, and it is the SITE   that is not letting me post in the right place.
