No Keyboard Click or Video Audio After Upgrade

Upgraded my 3GS to 3.1! Wish I had not!
1> Now have duplicate copies contact info under "All Contacts" grouplng.
2> Now my calender with an additional notation "Noon"- thru out every day & every calender.
3> No audio on any of my videos! Yes, there is audio - before 3.1 I had audio!!!
Anybody-anybody have any advice!!!!

I believe I have the answer for this one.
A friend of mine called up with the same issue and I solved it whilst over the phone. Glad it wasn't long-distance.
Open your Audio MIDI Setup application (found in Applications > Utilities).
Ensure that your audio is set to: 44100.0Hz, and 16bit (on my machine its 2ch, but you may have more channels, depending on your setup). My friend found that the installation of Quicktime 7.3.x forced his audio to 32bit, which essentially muted the sound.

Keyboard wireless key not working after upgrading to windows 8.1

Hello,
I am having hp pavilion dv6-6165tx notebook, where keyboard having a wireless button that turns ON and OFF all wireless devices, After upgrading to windows 8.1, HP Connection Manager is not getting installed, as well as Key is not working, key color turns red and white but no action is performed.
Kindly suggest me some solution.
Note: HP Doesn't provide drivers for windows 8/8.1 ONLY WINDOWS 7 for hp pavilion dv6-6165tx.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-6165tx Notebook and the Wireless keyboard not working correctly. Here is a link to troubleshoot the keyboard.
The HP Connection Manager is something that is for Windows 7 not Windows 8.1. I would uninstall this from your Notebook. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating. It has a troubleshooting tool in this.
Make sure all your updates have been completed. I would try restarting my Notebook a few times.
If that does not help I would uninstall the keyboard from the Device manager.

Choppy video streaming after upgrading E4200 firmware to ver. 1.0.03

Video streaming was fine until I upgraded the firmware. Is it possible to downgrade the firmware?

You mentioned in your post that you upgraded the latest firmware. So after upgrading the firmware did you reset the router? It is recommended to reset the router after firmware upgrade. Steps to reset the router:
Push the reset button on router for 30 seconds, turn off the router wait for 30 seconds and then power it on. After this process reconfigure the router. Power light should blink when you perform the reset process.
After the process reconfigure the router as per the ISP setup.. Then try to do the following steps:
A] With the help of Cisco Connect Software (if at all you have installed the router with the help of this software)
          1] Open the software and go to the option which says "Router Settings"
          2] Then click on the option which says "Advanced Settings" which will take you to the router's configuration page.
         3] Lower the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) from 1500 to 1400 or less (usually found on your router's main/ basic setup page)
         4] Then go to the Wireless tab, keep network mode as mixed,
For Channel Settings of 2.4 GHz you can make Channel Width to 20 MHz only and Channel to 6, 9, 11..
For Channel Settings of 5 GHz you can make Channel Width to 20 MHz only and Channel to 40 or 161...
B] If you haven't installed Cisco Connect then you can log on to the router's user interface using it's default IP address in the browser which is 192.168.1.1 and type in 'admin' as the password leaving the username field blank. This will take you to the router's web interface and then follow steps as mentioned above to make the changes.

Problem using Yahoo Video Playlists after upgrading Firefox

I have Created Yahoo playlists in the past and after upgrading my Firefox they no longer work. meaning when i click on a playlist everything loads properly except the video itself and I can't play any of the other videos in the playlist either. Also i can't add new songs to those playlists or rate those videos either.

This is not a Firefox issue, you could try downgrading to version 18 or 17 but Yahoo needs to update their toolbar and they haven't been doing anything to solve issues regarding them except by laying the blame on us.

Problem with audio after upgrade

I am experiencing some audio issues after upgrading my MBP8,2 15" (early 2011 with i7 2GHz processor and 16 GB RAM) to OS X Yosemite. In particular, sometimes the audio simply doesn't work with internal speakers - the volume indicator goes up and down but I don't ear anything - and with external speakers I need to unplug and plug the connector often because they stops working, and in this case neither the volume indicator works.
Does anybody is experiencing the same issues? Could anybody please help?

Same issue over here and even worse.
1. My system even changes Audio-Devices randomly on it's own.
2. Sometimes I have to restart programs after switching a Audio-Device manually to make it work.
3. Sometimes audio completely stops working by chance.
4. When I want to select a different Audio-Device sometimes it works with "Audio-Midi-Setup"-App, sometimes it works with "Systempreferences" -> Audio.
Sometimes with none of both. -.-
5. Clicking on the audio sign in the menubar while holding "alt/opt" in order to change Audio-Devices works not, too.

2008 Macbook pro left click not working properly after upgrading to 10.6.8

I have a 2008 Macbook pro and a few months ago after upgrading to 10.6.8 my left click has been wonky.
Using the trackpad the left click eventually gets "stuck" or stops responding and I have to push it multiple times before it does anything. I have tried plugging in a mouse, but when I do so the mouse also behaves the same way. The only way I seem to be able to get the clicking to work properly is to restart the computer with the mouse attached.
I have seen threads about trackpads being messed up by swollen batteries, but my battery is brand new and looks fine, and the clicking problem extends to an external mouse, so I believe it is something with the preferences.
I tried deleting com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouchTrackpad.plist and restarting and the problem seemed to be fixed, but then after about a half hour it returned.
Having to keep a mouse plugged into my macbook is driving me crazy, anyone know a solution?

I started having the same issue after update. I'm on a MacBookpro running 10.7.2
ICalled apple and they did a remove battery reboot, a reload lion and a option/command/R/P reboot on startup and then the computer started working. Two days later problem was back. I then did a reboot and the computer was back to working. Today the computer worked fine tell it went to sleep. I had to do a hard reboot to get the Mac up and running and now no left click. Please help. I can not use the Mac with the trackpad, a mouse, a Bluetooth mouse, or a digital pad. All so signs of left mouse click not working. One other item when you go to pick your user at startup the left mouse click works. Help!

Keyboard shortcuts no longer work after upgrade to ios 6

After upgrading to iOS 6, the keyboard shortcuts on my iPhone 4S no longer work. Not only that I can't change them either. If I add or delete a shortcut, it simply goes back to the way it was when I exit the settings and go back in. My iPad 2 doesn't have this problem, only my iPhone 4S.
I tried restarting as well as doing a reset (hold home and power button).
Any idea how to fix this?

If you want to go through all the steps I took:
1. Restart
2. Soft reset (hold home and power until Apple logo appears)
3. Reset keyboard dictionary
4. Reset all settings
5. Clear autofill
Only after the last step did things start working. Prior to that I couldn't make any changes I made to the keyboard shortcuts stick, though every now and then changes would take. Sometimes trying to delete a shortcut would crash the settings app. In all cases the shortcuts didn't work.

Dashboard widget with streaming video breaks after upgrade to Mountain Lion

Hi. I recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Under SL, I had an OS X widget that was a web clipping of a streaming mpeg image being produced by a Linksys/Cisco WVC54GCA web camera. When I brought up the dashboard, the OS would start streaming the data from the mpeg filename, which looks like "hostname.com/img/video.mjpeg".
After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I noted that the widget never fully loads, indefinitely displaying a "Loading Clip..." mesasge. After deleting and re-adding, I can still get as far as adding the web clipping to the dashboard at the right dimensions, but there's no content.
Unfortunately the camera unit doesn't provide for the display of HTTP access logs, so I can't see if there's an issue there, but my understanding is that if I can display the image in a Safari browser, it should work just fine in Dashboard too. (I did make sure that, where needed, the username/password for accessing the video are included in the URL.)
I did sniff the network traffic between my system and the camera host, and show that video traffic starts flowing between the two as soon as the widget is brought up. So, it's almost like the widget doesn't know when to stop "loading" and start "displaying," perhaps because the HTTP request is never truly "done."
Can anyone speculate if something may have changed in Mountain Lion affecting the ability of web clipping widgets to display streaming video?

I have exactly the same problem with the same "Loading clip" then blank. I have been trying a lot of stuff to get this working, but haven't had the chance of sniffing the network traffic as you have done. By reading what you said about the traffic seems to be flowing without the picure being displayed makes me even more puzzled by this. I never had a streaming video while I were using Snow Leopard, but I had a still-image, as I also do now in Mountain Lion. I recently began to research for a way to display the video.cgi MIME image that my camera produces, and I've also concluded that this should be an easy task for the dashboard web clip function; the video does display in safari after all.
I suspect that our cameras uses the same built in webserver solution written by a "Steven Wu". Cheap webcameras frequently uses his script with MJPEG (stream of JPEG pictures) to avoid the expensive licenses of using other video codecs.

Right click is not working after upgrading to firefox 3.6.7

Firefox updated today to 3.6.7. Now when I right click to same a page, or any other function nothing happens. Have gone to tools options, java script to disable menu changes. But nothing worked. Back to default.

Microphone Problem in Beats Audio after upgrading to Win 10

I have a HP Envy 15 j103tx laptop which I recently upgraded to Windows 10. After upgrading, the sound worked well but the little checkbox next to the output source stopped working. As you can see I have two playback devices: one my laptop's speaker and other my tv's speaker which I have connected with a hdmi. I cannot select my device through the checkbox now. It doesn't do anything. Similarly, I also cannot select the Internal Microphone of my laptop. Due to which my microphone no longer works. I have tried to uninstall the IDT drivers and codec and reinstalling it through the HP Customer Support page. http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-touchsmart-15-j100-notebook-pc-series/5401191/model/6413154 . But to no avail. I request Hp to solve my problem as soon as possible.

Audio missing from Video Podcasts after upgrade to ITunes 6.02

This seems to be a common problem with no answers from Apple. All my videos have had the sound track rendered silent after downloading 6.02 upgrade. The new downloads are silent as well. Tried reinstalling Quicktime and ITunes to no avail. Program is acting pretty chunky now responding to commands when in video mode also.

Same problem with me and it seems a lot more users. Audio and Video are playing fine in other players and other types of video, everything is connected as it should. You would think that something major like this would not get past quality control before it's being released. I'm getting more and more agitated as there has been absolutely no mention of this from Apple, yet this seems to be a wide spread and major problem. I bought Season 1 of The Office tonight and it is rendered useless because audio won't play, and the DRM limits how you can view your videos.

Click Audio after upgrading to Mavericks

Every time I pause audio recordings on my mac now that i have upgraded to Mavericks I get a click that appears. If I mute the computer and them bring the volume up it disappears. But when I do it again pause music again, same thing happens. It occurs in Sounds Studio and itunes. Any ideas how to correct it. It is a click that happens less than every second.

It shows this:

Ipod Classic will no longer play video podcasts after upgrade to iTunes 10.

I have a 120GB Classic. I used to be able to play video podcasts just fine. Since upgrading to iTunes 10.0 in September I can see Podcasts with a little video symbol next to them on the iPod, but when I click on them the screen goes black for a couple of seconds, then flips back to the menu. If I copy the Podcast to a playlist, I get audio but no video, as always. The video podcast plays fine on the PC. I've tried "converting to iPod or iPhone version" with no success. I've Googled this problem and found many others with this issue, none with their question answered. Does anyone know if this is an issue acknowledged by Apple, and if so, do they plan to fix it? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
