No keyboard shortcuts to navigate audiobook tab

I'm trying to navigate itunes with the keyboard. I can use the tab key and arrow keys to move from tab to tab (movies, audiobooks, etc.) but I can't use the keyboard to navigate within a specific tab (i.e., audiobooks). Any help?

alt is written of many Apple keyboards on the key named option which is also falgged as ⌥.
The common shortcuts aren't option + key but cmd + key. The cmd key is also flagged as ⌘.

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to open new tabs with keyboard shortcuts in Terminal.app
Opening the default profile is not a problem (command-T), but how can I get to the non-default profiles? Assigning keyboard shortcuts in the System Preferences doesn't seem to work.
Maybe something like a Quicksilver Trigger? Applescript? Any ideas?

I know that you can click the arrow on the right of the tab bar to access the tabs from other computers, but is there a keyboard shortcut for it, or another way to access it?

And then, you can switch groups by CTRL+` (grave accent, since my kb is portuguese, I have to do CTRL+ SHIFT + ´) or CTRL+~ (tilde)

Keyboard Shortcut to Select Next Tab not working

Hello. Somewhat similar to this issue (http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11414081#11414081), the keyboard shortcut to select the previous / next tab in Safari isn't working in (my) 10.6.3. What is it with this system, or what fundamental thing am I missing, that these different key shortcuts aren't working?

Keyboard shortcut for changing window/tab

Hope you're well. This is odd that I've not been able to find this anywhere.
In Flash CS5 (Mac OS). Window menu... right at the bottom it lists the windows you've got open with a number in front ie:
1 project.fla
2 class.as
3 interface.as
Now... if I click (with the mouse) to focus (activate) the window menu and press a number key corresponding to a window in the list, Flash kindly takes me to that window.
Q: What is the 100% keyboard shortcut way to do this?
I've had a go at wading in and just pressing keys... as my last-but-one strategy for finding this out. My last strategy being "ask". :-)

Just to clarify for everyone, Mac Keyboard, it's the command and tilde key ( ~ ), but not using shift, Nivesh is correct. I had difficulty deciding whether it was the aposthrophy - my eyesight....

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Why is it so hard to just use Keyboard controls to navigate Finder?

In pre OS X days I and my co-workers would use only keyboard shortcuts to navigate file servers faster than the network could even refresh the display just using Command keys and Tab and letters…
In Finder if I want to move to the shortcuts side-bar (the way you can in an Open dialogue box with Tab) it seems to require cursor action, and since I use a tablet that means moving RH away from keyboard and gripping pen, which we all seem to hold between thumb and palm.
If I hit Tab with a Finder window active, I get the current directory of files and I can manually move thorugh Cmd-Sft-D for desktop and then drill down etc etc I also find it can be really hard to make a window or floating pallete the active window, and even when it is, impossible to highlight the correct field/content just using Keyboard shortcuts. I'm finding hard to beleive I not missing something, this being Apples OS and Apple have had unviersal access for a few decades!

Hmmm, if these are commonly used Folders, try dagging them to the right side of the Dock between Applications & trash.

Not that I know of if you mean the "List all tabs" button at the far right end of the Tab bar.

How do I get Safari to recognize changed keyboard shortcuts?

I am trying to setup a simple, memorable keyboard shortcut for switching between tabs (a useful feature that I wish Safari made easier). I wanted to do option+arrow key. So I sent to System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts and created the shortcut.
The new shortcut shows up in Safari when I drop down the Window menu, but the shortcut doesn't actually work. When I hit option+L or R arrow key, the window does not switch to the next or previous tab.
I even went back to Keyboard Shorcuts in System Preferences and created another "All Applications" shortcut with the same command. It still doesn't work.
Any thoughts? Has anyone successfully changed the "Select Next Tab" or "Select Previous Tab" commands in Safari?

some shortcuts just don't work in some apps, and safari won't allow arrow keys with a single modifier (these shortcuts do other things in text fields). it's best to pick something memorable but unique to avoid any conflicts.

The company has just gone over to Indesign from Quark.
I would like quick access to text compression similar to Quark's 'Ctrl ['.
I can't find the facility to compress in 'Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts/Type'.

- Navigate to Adobe InDesign's "Edit" menu and select "Keyboard Shortcuts." The Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box comes up on your screen.

Wrong keyboard shortcut in View menu - Acrobat Reader XI

A bug in View menu - don't say it's a feature!
I've been trying to use keyboard shortcuts to navigate in Reader XI View menu - for painstakingly Show/Hide -> Toolbar Items (before I found you can accomplish this with a right-click on the Toolbar).
Only to realize in View menu there are two sub-menus with the same 'S' keyboard shortcut assigned: Fill & Sign and Show/Hide. Obviously pressing 'S' key the first time opens the Fill & Sign pane and then the View menu closes, so can't use 'S' key to open Show/Hide for more options.
Why couldn't the design devs chose a distinct letter for all the submenus in View? Where was their mind? Is Adobe outsourcing the design, too (to me it 'smells' Asian).
PS: could not find a 'Suggest a feature' for Acrobat/Reader on Adobe site, I got redirected to this forum instead.
