No LED at all

I have a galaxy stellar and my LED light no longer works. It used to flash when I got texts and lit up when charging but doesn't. My settings are set for it to light up when its charging but when I plug it in it flashes red for a second then goes out.
Any ideas on how to get it back?

I am sorry to learn you're having an issue with your LED light. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? I'd like to offer a suggestion to assist you with your device. Please try a soft reset with the charger not plugged into the phone. Here's a link to the steps http://is.gd/dyf8b5. Let me know if helps to reset the light.

The HP W2371d 23-inch Diagonal Monitor is a LCD Mointor with LED Backlighting. Almost all current HDTVs and monitors that are advertised as "LED" are LCD with LED Backlighting. This is done to distinguish these LCD products from the previous generation of LCD HDTVs and monitors. The previous generation used CCFLs (cold cathode flourescent lamps) for the backlighting.

Starcam 370i - LEDs on all the time?

Hi All,
Having just purchased a Starcam 370i, I've already posted in another thread about the colour issues I'm having.
But my question - is there some way you can stop the white LEDs from automatically coming on each time the computer is turned on?
I can't find any software settings :(

My opinion of this webcam has gone down hill since I first installed it.
The light comming on is a pain, and it's useless for working on a desktop anyway. Why didn't they include a switch on the webcam to turn it off manually.
The snapshot button on the camera causes blurred images, and they didn't have the sense to include a version of amcap with a software snapshot feature, I had to find one on the web.
Colour recognition is lousy. How can they advertise this webcam as a camera
with it's 1.2 Mega pixel images, when it can't even get the colours right.
Before adding features to turn it into a security camera, it might have been an idea to get the basics right first. Didn't anyone test it before shipping?
Heads should roll. Start with the designer and the person who signed it off.

LED on all the time

The green LED light in front of the Webcam Live. It's on all the time. I thought it supposed to be on only when the webcam is doing capture?
If the LED is on all the time, how can I tell if the webcam is capturing or not?

The led just indicates that it's connected to USB and activated by the webcam-drivers.
To capture you need software. there you can see if the cam captures or not.
At least it's that way with the led of my WebcamGo.

Power LED off, all others on - WRT54G

Hello everyone.
My WRT54G was in the middle of working correctly when it dropped all connections. The power LED is now off and all of the link lights are permanently illuminated, even with nothing plugged into those ports. The ethernet LED is also continuously lit. Windows reports "limited or no connectivity" on computers attached to the router in its current state.
I've tried power-cycling several times and I've tried to use the reset button, albeit for only 5-10 seconds after power-up. The results are the same - no power LED and everything else lit up.
Is there anything I can try to resurrect my router? There seems to be a lot of information on blinking power LEDs, but not much on one that's off with the rest of the LEDs fully illuminated.

1. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
2. Then, unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for
another 30 Seconds.
3. Plug back the power back in, and keep holding down the reset button
for 30 Seconds.
4. Release the reset button.
If still the same light status .........then i think router is gone bad ....

Purchased Complete Led Zeppelin, all one album

Is there an easy way to make the Complete Led Zeppelin Show up as all the individual albums rather than one big one? It makes it much harder to sort and search for a particular song. Also, not having all that artwork available for my apple TV is upsetting. Do I manually have to separate them all?
And if I separate them will the iTunes Store download the appropriate album art for me?

If it comes from iTunes packaged as one album with one piece of artwork, I think you'll have to do the following to achieve what you want.
-- Troll the Web (amazon.com is a good resource) and find the individual art you need for the albums represented in the package. Paste into the artwork tab on the appropriate tracks.
-- Change the info on the tags for tracks to ID them as individual albums. This would include changing the track numbers, album name, etc.
Not an easy fix, but doable. I wouldn't be too upset though. It was purchased as a single album, so that's the way it's ID's and packaged.

Satellite L655-1EM - why does LED flash all the time?

I bought a Toshiba Satellite L655-1EM this afternoon, and since I've had it on one of the LEDs won't stop flashing.
It's the one next to a short fat cylinder.
Any help would be much appreciated, I even turned everything off and it still flashed!
My old laptop didn't do this.
The LED is really bright so it's very noticeable, and it even flashes in hibernate mode!

Every time when some info must be read from HDD the LED will blink and show HDD activity.
I cannot understand why do you wondering when HDD blinks. It is logic that from time to time something will be read or written on HDD, even if you dont do anything.
Do you know how many background processes run on your notebook?
Please dont make big thing with this. It is nothing unusual and quite normal.

Airport extreme led (all three) on?

Suddenly, without any complain from anyone, my office's airport just froze. led lights (all three of them) keeps on (not flashing), even after i turn it off and on again after more than 5 min. the 1st time i turn it on after few min off i got power led (middle) only, but it didn't show any sign of starting, so i turn it off & on again. after that all three on, like i said.
tried to reset (soft & hard), nothing. this is new one, only a few weeks, the only prob i got before was loosing DHCP IP. anybody?

Just for grins, try to pull the power adapter from the AEBS and wait those same 5 minutes.
If this doesn't work pull the power adapter from both the ISP's Modem and the AEBS and wait the 5 and then plug in the ISP's Modem first and wait 1 minute and then plug in the AEBS and wait 1 minute and then see if that does it for you,,

I synched my iphone to 2 laptops and have now lost all the music purchased by my wife in our itunes library, how do i get this back and restore it to both our iphones?

I have recently upgraded my iphone 4 software and thought I'd backed up all my stuff. When I restored the settings only 73 out of 895 songs were downloaded to my Itunes library. I then went on my other laptop with all the old stuff on and tried to synch them. This led to all the music in this itunes library being wiped except for the 73 on my phone.
HOW DO I GET MY MUSIC BACK!!!
I share my music with my wife and we both purchase using different id's but have not had problems before in downloading to our phones. She is now a little peeved with me and any help would be very gratefully received and make my life alot easier

LED on power adapter doesn't always light?

I have two power adapters, on one the LED lights all the time and is either green when recharged, or orange when charging. Another has an intermittent behavior as far as the lighting is concerned, and won't light up when it is charged. The menubar shows that it is charged. Is this a problem and should I get that adapter replaced, if it otherwise appears to be working well and isn't overheating or frayed?

Hey there. Have you had any other issues with your battery, ie. not able to fully charge, or shutdowns before the OS tells you power is getting low?
The reason I ask (not to scare you) but this inability for the charger to turn green was the first symptom I saw when my MacBook Pro battery was in the process of dying. It happened about two weeks before things went south for this battery. As you may have read on this board, there was a run of batteries for these machines that have shown some serious problems. Ultimately what happened with mine was that it would get down to about 34% charge, and then the machine would just turn off. The battery also would often not charge all the way up to the green indicator, either.
I am unsure of what else you can try, other than maybe resetting PRAM. Just be on the watch for increased battery flakiness over the next couple of weeks. Not to worry, Apple will replace the battery for you free of charge.

Bookmarks from previous system all lost. Firefoxidn't sync when accesed from another system. The account didn't even exist. Why? Help me get it.

My previous system crashed and I just got a new one set up. Installed firefox and tried syncing but my acount wasn't even recognized and I had to sign up again. Which led to all my previous bookmarks getting lost. Is there any way to retrieve all those bookmark data?

hello theja, there has been a change in the sync account system in firefox 29. when you have set-up your account before that (which is likely the case when your credentials weren't known once you tried to sign in to the new sync), you'll need your old username, password and recovery key in order to connect to the old account!
if you have that information available you could try the following procedure:
# disconnect from the new account through the sync panel in the firefox options.
# enter '''about:config''' into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), right-click somewhere in that page & create a new string preference named '''services.sync.username'''with a value like '''fake''' and restart firefox.
# afterwards you should be able to connect to the old account through the firefox options > sync panel. if this worked and you could import your data this way, please log out of the old sync account again and reconnect to your new account.

The first thing to check is to make sure the batteries you tried were charged. With a battery in the phone, plug the phone into the wall charger and let it charge for a minimum of an hour.
If that doesn't work, the next thing to try will be to see if you can reinstall the software on the phone. To do that, use the method in the following link:

If your computer cannot recognize your BlackBerry on the second screen of the Loader.exe file, remove the battery and plug the phone into the computer. As soon as you see the device PIN or PIN: UNKNOWN pop up, click Next. If you miss it, unplug the device and plug it back in (note: when you're doing this, you should get a red LED as the phone attempts to turn on). Once you're able to catch the phone in the reboot cycle, put the battery back in and proceed with the OS reinstall.
If you get no red LED at all when you try plugging your phone in to your computer, something has likely happened to your phone's hardware. If this is the case, the only option would be to take the phone into your carrier for repair, especially if it's still under warranty.

Blinking caps and num leds

I shut down my touchsmart tx2-1020us notebook pc for about an hour or two and when i try powering it the caps and num leds only blinks with darkscreen. I av try all i can to make it work but still the blining caps and num leds is all i get. NEEDS HELP

Hello cedibill. I understand that when powering on your notebook you're getting a black screen and the CAPS LOCK/NUM LOCK keys are flashing. Is this correct?
There are multiple different causes of this. The easiest way to determine which error you're getting is to see how many times the CAPS LOCK is blinking. Look at this document and tell me which pattern you are getting.

865PE Neo2-LS hang at POST, D-LED - RRRR Is that a good siren?

I just got my new pc parts. I put them together, but it failed to boot. The D-LED starts all red and stays all red. The manual says that means there is a bad CPU.
A few seconds after power up, the PC speaker makes a siren noise. Is that a good siren?
What does it mean?
I got an OEM Pentium 4 2.4Ghz 800Mhz FSB. It is plugged in correctly, with the gold arrow pointing at the lever on the socket. It seems to be seated correctly.
I don't have another CPU that I can just swap out to try things.
Are there any recommendations for what to try next?
I haven't plugged in a keyboard, monitor, or anything but power.

Out of 2 MSI 865PE 1 board one has failed after working fine for about 2 days. Now a new 3rd board has now has worked for about 30 minutes before crapping out during setup.
Worked ok while I partitioned w PartMagic, then crapped out - D bracket shows all red -meaning CPU problem, but in fact I don't believe it at all. I took it out and inspected it cannot see any problem at all. On the previous identical MB -the error message was about the RAM which also turned out to be completely INCORRECT since the same memory worked fine in the replacement MB.
Fan speed was ok last time I checked (while things worked), now there is no video, nor will the mb shut down with long power button press -as it did at first.
CPU is Retail P4 2.8 FSB800 w orig cooling fan
Video is ATI 9000 pro -not a very fancy or powerful card -same as in 2nd machine
PS is Enermax 300 watt -just like the one that works in an identical machine
Memory is Geil Golden Dragon 512Mb (1 have 4 of them), also tried Kingston HyperX 3200 with no luck.
In my many years of working w tons of machines I've only run into one other brand (ECS Elite Group -total crap company never answered e-mail or phone calls) where I had 2 mboards in a row which failed immediately (or within 30 minutes).
Unless some of you have had similar experience and some solution I'm returning this MB and swap for a different brand and model.
