No link to the Address Book application from Address Book Widget?

Before I could click the little red button, but with the new (10.4.4) widget, is there a way to launch the Address Book application?
1.5 GHz PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I don't think there is a way to launch the Address Book app with the new 10.4.4 widget like we could before. I noticed that right away and went to the Mac OS X Feedback page to report it. If it bugs you as much as it bugs me you should report it too.

I like the new design ("front end") of the 10.4.4 Address Book widget, but I immediately missed the handy red button. I hope we see that feature reintroduced in the next update.

Re Create the task:
1. Open Safari
2. Go to the desired website/address
3. Click the send icon at the bottom (Square with arrow pointed up)
4. Click Message
5. Add contact in "To:" line
6. Hit send
It locks up and lags here on me and the message never shows up at the contacts phone/imessage/etc.

That's why you see this:
When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.

Thanks for the question.
Go into BlackBerry Link and click on the BlackBerry and then click on Options. Make sure you have Music, Pictures, Videos and Documents checkmarked for synchronization. Once these are checked, try to remove the files.

I agree with Mr. Hall that using mx.controls.Alert in Flex may be a better route.
Show the Alert like this:

When I select one of the advertised links in a google search, the tab flashes and looks likes it's loading but nothing happens. If I copy/paste the link into the address bar it works OK. It also works correctly using IE.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.

Office documents does not open in the default office application from Search Results

1 WFE + 1 App Server + 1 server for OWA + 1 separate DB server make up our DEV SharePoint 2013 environment. We migrated many web applications from our SP 2010 environment to SP 2013 environment. Client integration is enabled and "Open
Documents in Client Applications by Default" feature is enabled at the site collection level. OWA is enabled and working on the search results, such as showing preview.
From the document libraries, if I open office documents like word, excel and PowerPoint, they open in the respective office applications. However, from the search results, when I try to open by clicking on the result, it opens on the browser. I want
OWA to show document preview but still want to open the document in the default office application. How to overcome this?
I have IE 8.

Go to the bottom of the Search page, you will see a Preferences link:
From there, you can set your preference. This is a per-user setting and as far as I'm aware, cannot be set globally.

Debugging the webdynpro abap application from portal.

I developed a WebDynpro application and integrated in portal. I have to catch some portal events.For that i have written some code in my application. I tried to debug the application from portal by using all the available break-point types.but we could not .
Anybody have an idea how to debug a WebDynpro application from portal.

a) Check on number of R/3 sessions opened at a time.
b) Check that user ID configured in portal using System Mapping Under 'Delegate User Administration' is the same user for which you are setting external breakpoint in backend system.

Start or stop the multiple java application from Netweaver Administrator

In NWA->Operations Management->Systems->Start & Stop... the procedure for how to start and stop the Java Applications is well explained on the following link:

The problem is that I want to Start or stop the multiple java application on all instances simultaneously with the application state not persisted. But I am not getting the way to select more than 1 rows in the table so that these applications can be started in a single click. Is there any way out or any alternative?
Each time the CE 7.1EHP1 server is restarted there are around 800 applications that are shown as stopped. I have to start each manually one by one which is an hectic task. Please help.

The fix was in there were several ora init parms that were set incorrectly:
aq_tm_processes value is 0 Should be >= 1
job_queue_processes value is 0 Should be >= 10
enqueue_resources value is 2392 Should be = 3000
java_pool_size value should be >= 20MB

Why does when I open new tab on certain website, the link on the address bar doesn't match the page I'm on and shows the link of the page I'm on before?

When I open a new tab...the link on the new tab shows the link of the page I'm previously on. Some of the other page had that effect too. But some website doesn't seem to be affected(ex: Twitter)

About emails linked to the fora they come from

I would like to understand the relationship between the questions answered in the fora and the subsequent emails I receive as a result of it. I can see the content of those emails in the relevant forum I attend, but when I answer those emails my content does not appear in that forum, yet the bottom of the emails I receive stipulate that to reply the email is the prefered manner to add to the forum.
ie "To post a reply to the thread message, either reply to this email (recommended) or visit the message page:"
This bothers me a little as when I reply an email I tend to be more personal to the person who sent it to me, but if I know it will be also in the thread, which I thought it should I would try to alter my reply appropriately.
I remember vaguely reading in one of the first such email I received (in the header perhaps) something about brackets not to be removed but can't find where it is anymore.

Link always the first 5 lines from another table, even after a reorder. How

Hello,
I'm creating my own expenses sheet based on the Numbers built-in model. I've about 15 categories and like to show only the top 5 and summarize the rest as other to plot a pie chart.
My idea was to create a new table called Top 5 Expenses with 6 rows, set the order of Expenses by Category table to greater expenses amount first, and on the Top 5 table I'd link the first row with the first row of Expenses by Category. This is pretty easy, just put = and click on the desired cell, but when I reorder the Expenses by Category table the link is updated to keep pointing to the old most expense category.
This is an example:
Expenses by Category
Home - $1000.00
Car - $500.00
Games - $130.00
Computer - $120.00
With this data a Top 3 table would be
Home - $1000.00 (= Expenses by Category :: A1)
Car - $500.00 (= Expenses by Category :: A2)
Games - $130.00 (= Expenses by Category :: A3)
But if I add a new transaction to Computer and it now gets the 3rd position, after a reorder the table is:
Expenses by Category
Home - $1000.00
Car - $500.00
Computer - $180.00
Games - $130.00
And the Top 3 became:
Home - $1000.00 (= Expenses by Category :: A1)
Car - $500.00 (= Expenses by Category :: A2)
Games - $130.00 *(= Expenses by Category :: A4)*
The Top 3 table isn't pointing to the 3rd line anymore. I've tried to set it to =Expenses by Category :: $A3, =Expenses by Category :: A$3 and =Expenses by Category :: $A$3. But it always is updated to A4.
Is there a way to the Top table point to the 5 first lines?

That's a very interesting problem statement. Here's how I would proceed.
Add a Table with the sole function of computing the rank of each category, using SUMIF to do the totals for each category and RANK to determine the position. If you are concerned about what happens in the case of a tie score, we can talk about that later - there's a pretty easy solution.
In a third table, from which you will plot, use VLOOKUP to grab categories in the proper order, as determined by the RANK expression in the second table. Your sixth row, Other, will have the value of the total expenses less the sum of the other five, easy enough to write an expression for.
I'd be happy to fill in any details you need.
