No login on wake up on my s10-3t!! help

Hi guys,
whenever my s10-3t goes to sleep mode and it wakes up it does not ask the user to login. I would like it to ask the user to login when it wakes up. How can i do it. Any suggestions.
Regards,
Akul.

You  can do it, either in user accounts or in power management but don't have my memory or computer with me :-)
Try power managment first.

After powering the iPhone off and on, the light goes out but turns back on randomly or immediately after powering the iPhone on?
Since nothing else you have tried has resolved it, try restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup first.
If no change after that, try restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
If no change after that, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

    Hi jenwood2!
It seems like the best way to do this would be to make a playlist from just the one song that you want listen to while falling asleep. Our iPad User Guide explains exactly how to do this:
    manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipad_user_guide.pdf
And I have echoed the relevant information here:
Create a playlist: View Playlists, tap New near the top of the screen, then enter and save a name. Select songs and videos to include, then tap Done.
Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.

  • Expose and/or Dashboard launched on login and wake/up

I've had this mildly annoying problem for a couple of weeks now -- whenever I login or just wake my MacBook from sleep, either Expose or Dashboard (with no particular pattern) become active, appear on the screen and stay until I click on the screen or use one of the function keys. Anyone else experienced this?

I'd check system preferences to see where the active corners are. The mouse cursor on my machines always appears to left so nothing is active in that corner. Just a thought!

  • How can I stop applications from launching at login and wake?

An application, Spotify, launches each time I boot or wake my MacBook. The user preferences do not include Spotify in the login items and Spotify's preferences have "do no start at login" selected. How can I stop Spotify from launching at unwanted times?

Try system preferences> check disable automatic login.

  • Cant login after wake from sleep

In the last month I've noticed that sometimes when I wake my mac book pro (from a deep sleep?), I cant login. I enter my password and press enter and the textbox disables as if it is about to login but then nothing happens. It doesn't complete logging in. I cant press escape, I cant type in the password text box anymore, I cant click the button next to textbox. Nothing. I have to do a hard power off. I've cleared NVRAM. Which, consequently, when I do that, the mac book usually hangs at half of the progress bar on the black screen with the apple logo. I can only get the system back up by booting into safe mode and then restarting.
Anyone have any idea how to trouble shoot or fix the login issue?
    Mikey

Sorry to resurrect an old-ish thread but I'm having the EXACT same issue with my MacBook Pro.  I have all the latest OS updates applied..10.6.8 or whatever version is the latest as of 6/27/11.  I have taken it into the Apple store three times now...they've fixed permissions and run all the diagnostics and everything checks out 100%.  I have even done a complete wipe and reinstall of OSX, but it still locks up sometimes when clicking a user on the login screen.
Have you been able to resolve the issue on your system?

  • Multiple logins to wake up MBP

When I open up my MBP, I log in like normal.
Then it acts like its going to let me in, only to go black again, or stall, or ask me to log in again.
So I do log in again.  Then it stalls (can't even move the mouse), and sometimes it'll fix itself after 4 minutes of being frozen and will ask me to log in again yet will actually let me in this time, or sometimes I will just have to restart it again with the on/off button.
What the heck is wrong? And how do I fix this?!

When you get the login failure, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above.
Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first.
Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • After installing Yosemite, cannot login after wake from sleep mode

After upgrading to Yosemite this morning, I've had the problem that after the computer goes into sleep mode, I cannot log back in to use the computer because I can't enter my user password.  The screen looks fine after I press a key on the keyboard or move the mouse (I see the users and where I would type my password), but mouse clicks do not allow me to activate the password box (however, I do see the mouse pointer and can move it), and any buttons pressed on the keyboard have no effect.  If I shut the computer down, I can login without problem.  Any thoughts on how to resolve this?  I'd hate to have to turn the computer off every time I step away for 10 minutes...

  • Login Accounts won't Show at Start up     HELP !!!!!!!!

Hello techs, I need some help.... I recently upgraded an intel imac from Tiger to Leopard
after the upgrade process and a restart, I can no longer see the accounts at the login screen.
The only option is OTHER. So I click on OTHER and proceed to type in the user name and password
and nothing works. I revert to booting off the install DVD Leopard to change the password
( by the way, The DVD sees the 2 accounts on the computer to change passwords )
Now after resetting the password and restarting, All I get is the OTHER account, nothing else to login as, and even then I type in the user name and new password, NOTHING. I've ran disk utility and most stuff like that, Can anyone Help ? The user account folders are there, from what I could tell from booting in target disk mode and browsing the directories Even Root login doesn't work LOL I need Help

No apple techs here, this is strictly a user-to-user forum.
The "other" option that you see is for the root account. You did mention that you tried that but I'm not sure exactly what you did. try resetting the root account (=System administrator in the password reset utility) password from the install DVD. then try to log in as root. click on "other" at the login window, enter root for the login name and enter the reset password. post if this works and we'll take it from there.

plz plz plzzzz help me out
    thanks

Boot from your OS X installation or "system install" disc by holding down the "C" key while rebooting with that disc in the optical drive.  Early in the installation process you should see a "Utilities" menu.  In that should be an option to reset your password.

  • Screen wake up problem/ tried everything-please help!

I have had the my G2 since September and have absolutely loved it. A couple of weeks ago, it seemed to get a little "twitchy" with some erratic touch screen behavior (delayed responsiveness, over responsiveness, etc). Then, one day, the "knock on" (double tap to wake up phone) feature quit. Then numerous apps began not working correctly. I uninstalled the 2 apps that have been installed in the last couple months as well as a few others and the problem didn't change. Then, went to put the apps back on and the "install" button in play store is unresponsive. The rest of the screen works fine, just not that little button. Also, the screen that drops down to tell you the notifications on the top bar is super finicky all of a sudden. Checked all settings, tweaked settings, rebooted, Did a hard reboot, safe mode, and factory reset. No resolve. I am not a "heavy" user, only about 10 apps total installed on my phone in the 7 months I've had it. Frustration is  mounting and I really don't want to have to take it in. I've already lost all of the settings and everything I had to personalize my phone…Taking it in is last resort. Please Help!

Let's get your LG G2 back to like new condition jess28540! I had similar issues with mine and I resolved by doing a hard reset (I understand that you have done this) and removing an application that was causing my phone to act erratic. What I recommend is doing a hard reset http://vz.to/1bEaoQu (factory reset), then install your third party application one at a time and test for a few hours before installing another application. This process will assist you identifying conflicting applications, then remove them for good and you should be OK. Keep us posted.
