so u can get list of materials plant wise in MM60
now this plants may be assigned to different P Org ,so u have to find that PO to plant linkage
if u need all this on one report then try to create a new z programme or use query writting

Default Plant and storage location for components in MFBF

Hi,
I have 2 plants 1000-procurement plant and 2000- production plant. I am using special procurement key 70( Withdrawal from alternative plant from 1000 to 2000) for components in Plant 2000. The requirements for the components are transferred from 2000 plant to 1000 plant. The 1000 plant run MRP for the dependent requirements and procure the materials and transferred to the production storage location in Plant 2000.The raw materials are purchased in plant 1000 and transferred to Plant 2000 production storage location based on the manual reservations created with movement type 301. This is fine.
But when I do backflush in MFBF the plant and storage location for the components issue are displayed as plant 1000 which is the procurement plant and the production storage location in plant 2000-production plant location. In the BOM the production storage location is production storage location of plant 2000. Since we use the special procurement key system defaults the plant as 1000(procurement plant) insteadd of 2000(production plant). can we make this plant default to the production plant 2000 as default in the MFBF goods issue screen.

          - Procurement type (maybe F)
          - Special procurement (Maybe U)
          - Plant (Maybe 1000).
          - Issuing plant (maybe 2000)

The total org structure can be viewed in EC01 - Click on Structure -> navigation
& Continue, Click on the Compnay code & the wole structure can be viewed

Need to determine plant and storaeg location for item in delivery

Hello All,
I have an inbound IDOC which changes the quantity of items in a delivery and also adds new items if necessary. I need to do a auto PGI also if required.
Am using BDC to update the delivery. Now the problem is when I add a new item to the delivery. I add the material, quantity and Unit recieved from the IDOC. I need to determine the plant and storage location and fill that too in the delivery.
Kindly let me know how I can determine these two values. Which table holds this data?
Please note that I am changing only the delivery. The document preceding the delivery wont be changed.

normally the plant is determined on this basis:
customer inforecord (table KNMT)
customer master (KNVV)
material (MVKE)
The storage location is determined in table TVKOL based on:
shipping point (you have it in delivery header LIKP-VSTEL)
plant (see above)
storage conditions (material master MARA-RAUBE)

Validation on PLant and profit center for Material

Hi gurus
please advise on validation.
On FB50 transaction, Our users want a validation for particular accts say (GL: No 999888)
that if a material is entered in FB50, a plant and profit center must also be entered AND the entered plant and profit center should be the one from the material master MM03.
Please advise steps as how to build validation for the above requirement.

Hi
You should never post any entry to a material account from FB50. FB50 is a purely FI transaction, and the Inventory accounts get hit automatically by various MM transactions. If you will post an entry from FB50 to a material account, there will always be inconsistency between FI & MM records.

Yesterday I installed iOS6 along with 4 updates one of which was the User Guide, as I recall. But my user guide till has iOS5 Maps guidance so must be the old guide. How do I download the iOS6 UserGuide and new Maps guidance? Thanks

There doesn't seem to be one for iPad yet. There is an iOS 6 guide for iPhone. They are virtually the same.

Sizing and Config Guides for AC10

Hi there,
there was a statement with General Availability of AC10 there will be a Sizing Guide available for Access Control 10 (or GRC10). So far I could only find the one for 5.3, so does there exist any Sizing Guide yet? Desperately waiting...
Also, is there / will there be a comprehensive Configuration Guide like it was available for 5.3?

Yes, both configuration and sizing guides are still in creation process. It would be good if you keep checking service market place for the updates.

Assumption is a ruleset of around 50000 rules.
Small u2013 1-3 backend systems with 10,000 users
Medium u2013 Between 3 and 10 backend systems and 25,000 users
Large u2013 10+ backend systems with 50,000+ users
Category, Minimum Disk Space, Minimum SAPS
Small, 400 GB, 2000 SAPS
Medium, 600 GB, 4000 SAPS

Procedure and format guide for newb?

I just bought an 30g Video ipod. Is there a guide that tells what is the best way to format and load your ipod. Most of my music is downloaded from cds, not online. What are the advantages/disadvantages to AAC or MP3 (or any other format). When I download my cds to itunes is it automatically converted to MP3 or not until I load the ipod. I understand it is not good to convert from MP3 to AAC, is this correct? As you see, I know nothing, any help is appreciated.

1) AAC & mp3 will give the same file size at the same bitrate when importing. AAC should have better audio quality than an mp3 file at a lower bitrate. Ex.: AAC @128 should equal or better audio quality of mp3 @ 160. The one disadvantage to AAC is that it is not as universal a format as mp3.
2) You must set your importing preferences to the format & bitrate you desire prior to importing CD's into iTunes, there is no automatic conversion. Importing in AAC, files will be in AAC, etc. There is no "on the fly" conversion of files when transferring to iPod. Whatever format you have used to import into iTunes, will be the format for the files on the iPod.
3) Converting from one lossy format to another will cause a loss of audio quality. Only your ears can tell if this loss is acceptable or not.

Can I get a time and percentage guide for rendering?

This seems like a silly point to raise, but one of the things I am missing most with the new FCP is the box that would appear giving you a percentage of render completed and an estimate of the time left for it to finish. Is there a box I can tick somewhere to have this with FCPX or do I have to put up with the disappearing orange line?
I found it really useful knowing how much time I had left for a render, its annoying me having to guess how quickly the orange line is disappearing! If so, I hope Apple include this in an update soon, its the little things that ruin the user experience...

In the centre of the toolbar there is a circular indicator which goes around while background tasks are going on.
Click this and a window will open with progress bars showing render status.
Usually there's a disclosure triangle you can twirl for even more detailed info about the individual background tasks.
However.
If you are using ProRes 422 or other codec which you can deit natively (such as XDCAM EX) you can turn off background rendering (in preferences) as you can play back your footage without rendering - unless you've added effects etc, in which case you will need to render to see the effect.
