I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

    Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

What is error 1202? I cannot connect to itunes store. i have downloaded the latest version of itunes and still not able to connect to itunes store.

For those who are getting annoyed, I have found a solution which requires you to create a new apple ID without using credit card information:
    1. Go the app store
    2. Hit cancel when it asks you to sign in (If it doesn't, continue to step 3)
    3. Find a free app and try to download it
    4.  you to sign in option will appear, it will ask you if you want to use existing ID or create a new apple id. SELECT CREATE NEW APPLE ID
    5. Follow the steps and when it gets to the stage it asks you for your card info, Choose 'None'
    6. Full in all you name and address etc... And click next.
    7. Verify your email and Enjoy downloading FREE apps
    8. Say thank you as I do appreciate your love :)

  • Want to update my iPad apps but my iPad is not able to connect to iTunes store.

want to update certain apps....but when it starts updating it say that it  cannot connect to iTunes store.

You have to be running iOS 5 in order to update via the iPad settings. You are running 4.3. You will have to update via the latest version of iTunes on a computer. After you update to iOS 5.1.1, you will be able to do OTA updates from the settings on the iPad.

  • I am not able to connect my itunes store

i am not able to view my itunes store account or download updates since last month please suggest me.....
    thanks

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • HT203175 I am no longer able to access the iTunes store on my PC.  When I try to connect, it just goes to a blank screen.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Thanks.

If you're seeing a blank iTunes Store, see this support article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123
If that doesn't help, try resetting Winsock. This has solved the problem for some people, at least.
    1) Click on your start menu.
    2) Go to accessories
    3) Run the Command Prompt application. For those with Vista or Windows 7, right click on Comman Prompt and choose "run as administrator".
    4) Once it opens, type in the following command...
    netsh winsock reset
    5) hit Enter and it should say something like Winsock reset successful.
    6) Reboot your computer and try the iTunes Store again.
    Regards.

  • TS1398 I am not able to connect to itunes store or Youtube frommy Ipod Touch. Able to access safari and google etc

My Wifi network is fine and I am able to open Safari and access Google and other web pages. However when I access Youtube or Itunes it says " Cannot connect to Youtube/ itunes store. Please help!

Have you tried a simple reset of your device?  To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Can you try connecting the iPod to another Wi-Fi network to see if the problem persists there?

  • I'm not able to connect to iTunes store from my iPhone and my iPad. Please help me. I have tried everything.

Please advice me on this matter as suddenly I'm not able to connect to the iTunes store to update my apps or download it.

There seems to be an issue with the iTunes store. There are quite a few posts with similar complaints, but I have not seen a statement from Apple.

  • Not able to connect to iTune Store through iTunes on my Windows pc(Windows Vista 64 bits)

I have got a new iPhone 5. I installed iTunes(11.0.1.12) on my home pc (Windwos Vista 64 Bits). However its not able to connect to iTuneStore. It just showing "Accessing iTune Store" nothing happens afterwards. KIndly help me out with this.

There are several things, any one of which or any combo of which may help. So sometimes you have to fiddle to find what works.
Give your device a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
Swap out your charger and cable, see if that fixes it or if the issue continues. Try a different USB port.
Make sure your iTunes is up to date. If you have iOS6+ then you need iTunes 11.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes. You can also look in the control panel and add/remove programs, see if there's something like the apple mobile device driver/control and remove that, then plug your device back in. That is what tells your computer what to do with the iPad.

  • Not being able to connect to itunes store

We have 4 iphone 4's in our house and wifi. This past week we could no longer connect to the itunes store. We try rebooting the phones, checking for iso updates and nothing seemed to work. But I realized that we replace the wifi modem last week, so I went to setting and clicked on forget this network and then signed back in and things worked again.

I've also had the same problem eversince the 7.1.1 update. I have tried all the suggestions on the website and these forums.
I even contacted Apple who have refered me straight back to these forums and the FAQ's.
I'm disgusted that the response I got was a bulk standard 'don't bother us' attitude.
Still in the long run it will be their loss as all these customers can't buy goods from them. I've spend about £60 elsewhere in the last few weeks that I would have normally spent at iTunes.

  • Not being able to connect to itunes store with mobile modem

Hello. I just bought a t-mobile web n walk internet modem. I found that I could not connect to the itunes store using this despite the internet working fine. I was also having no problem connecting to the itunes store when hooked up via airport. I could find no answers posted anywhere on how to fix this. I fixed it by selecting 'view my account' from the 'store' menu and then entering my password and pressing 'done'. After this I could then access the itunes store via my mobile modem as well as airport. Thought I'd post this so that it hopefully helps anyone with the same problem in future. Karma an all...cheers

This is due to the restrictions placed on Apple by the copyright holders for content in Brazil & other Latin America countries. Until all & I mean ALL of the major copyright holders for content in Brazil & any other country negotiate with Apple, so Apple can distribute in a specific country, there is nothing Apple can do.
