No longer able to use Express to extend wired connection

I have an airport extreme base station connected to a cable modem.
I have for some time used an airport express to make a wired connection to my xbox in another room.
Something happened the other night and I had to reset both the extreme and the express and set them up again.
But now, my express will no longer allow a wired connection to the xbox or even another Mac.
Everything is up-to-date software and firmware-wise. The airport extreme base station is feeding all the wireless computers in my house just fine.
The wired (ethernet cable) from my airport extreme base station to a computer works just fine as well.
Airplay works on the Express.
This is my configuration:

Any thoughts on why this is suddenly not working?
I have the box checked for Allow this network to be extended on the AEBS Under the Wireless tab
The Express is set up to join the AEBS and it has a green light.

The sole reason for the AX is to get an internet connection to the xbox. It's too far away from the AEBS to run an ethernet cord.
What's screwy is that it all worked before. It's not like I am trying a new configuration.
I'm going to go back to step one on both the AEBS and AX one more time today. Make sure that I didn't miss a step.
BTW, I originally got the MSxbox wireless connector. After a few months use, it failed. I foolishly went ahead and got a second one. It lasted about 9 months. Piece of MS&$t!

also, try to boot the computer in [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows Safe mode with network support] (press F8 on the boot screen) and check firefox again.
(If works in Windows Safe mode then probably you have problem with other software, like security software or maybe a system driver, that is running on your computer).

Quicken is a PPC application. They will not work in Lion because Lion no longer supports Rosetta emulation.
1. You can downgrade to Snow Leopard.
2. You can switch to Quicken Essentials.
3. You can purchase a different application that provides similar services for you. Examples are MoneyDance or MYOB.
Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard. I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

Well, it worked fine for me as well for the past couple of years. I had not had any problems using it for the past few years. I use a Mac OS X Yosemite. As far as I can tell nothing had changed. I had not added any new updates, and a week ago the adjustment brush in camera raw simply ceased working. Everything else in camera raw works. However, the adjustment brush is a critical tool. I have checked my permissions, and even repaired my permissions with no results. Of course I have also tried several restarts to no avail.

Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.

I would first suggest uninstalling the software that is already on your computer for the printer. I have included the document 'Uninstalling the Printer Software'. Please choose the option for Windows 8, as it will be the same steps for Windows 8.1.
After the uninstall is completed. Please download and run the Printer Install Wizard. This will make sure that you do get the most current and compatible software for your computer, and printer.

Working at a university here in Brazil Unicamp.
Here we have several projectors model VPL-ES4, we were using this projector with win7 however a few days they all stopped to show the image of computers accusing problem in frequency, we made all the alternatives so that One can be reestablished TRANSMISSION signal however all were in vain, reading in many forums found equal to our cases and the solution presented was to use a computer with win98 and it really worked, but with the end of support for this version of the system we are failing to use it, I wonder how we can solve this problem and why even this ocrrendo.

Signal out of range, which is annoying because in order to fix it I either have to reboot using a live CD, mount the drive, or ssh into it. Whoever started the trend of disabling ctl alt backspace to kill an xsession is not my friend...
Some other forum posts about this monitor indicate that there may have been two variants, but I can't find a different set of specs.

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load. Open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

I understand you are having an issue selecting the manual duplex print setting for your HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw printer on your Mac computer running 10.10. I'd love to help you with this. Firstly, do you have the most recent HP Printer driver update installed? If not you can download it from the App Store here - HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X Then, I'd recommend removing and re-adding your printer, to make sure you are using the correct driver (10.10 will often default to using an AirPrint driver which does not have a manual duplexing option). Click the Apple icon on your menu bar.Select System Preferences, then Printers and Scanners.Select your M1217 and click the (-) button to remove it.Press the (+), and then select Add Printer or Scanner. Does an Airport Express require a wired connection to boost a Wi-Fi signal if I already have a wired Airport Time Capsule on the Network?

I want to boost the Wi-Fi signal around my house. I have a 3TB Airport Time Capsule connected to my Virgin Media modem via a WLAN connection but wonder if an Airport Express device can be used at a remote location purely wirelessly - apart from a power connection obviously?

No, but you will have much better network performance if you do wire the AirPort Express.
The reason for this is that when you try to extend a network using wireless, you will typically lose about a half of the potential speed capability on the network.
There is no network speed loss when you wire the Express.
Here is what Apple's support document says about this:
In the case of a wirelessly extended network, throughput may be reduced to less than 60 percent of that of a single device. The general rule is to keep the Wi-Fi network as simple as possible. You can accomplish this by using the minimum number of Wi-Fi base stations required to service the physical network area and by using Ethernet wherever possible.
Extending the range of your Wi-Fi network by connecting Wi-Fi base stations together using Ethernet is always the best option, and will provide the best throughput
