No longer shows 1920x1200 60Hz as an option - Only shows 76Hz

This was working but no longer. My monitor supports 1920x1200 @ 60Hz only. Any ideas?

Okay, I was able to figure this one out. I forgot Mac has a Safe Mode option. I set the resolution for a lower standard type such as 1024x768 @ 60Hz or 800x600 @ 60Hz (I forget which one I actually did) then booted to Safe Mode. I was then able to see my monitor's default resolution of 1920x1200 @60Hz. I selected that and restarted in Normal Mode. All is well with the world!

When subscribed to in iTunes the recent episodes show, but the Store hasn't updated for some time.
There appears to be an issue with the feed. In the episode 'WRESTLING MARCH MADNESS: Final Bracket & Championship' of 31st March you will find in the 'description' tag the following line:
4. KURT ANGLE
At the end of this line is an invisible character which seems to be wrecking the feed - although it works OK when suscribing in iTunes it won't load in a browser (and I also found the feed very slow to load, which won't help matters with the Store)
This sort of thing usually happens when you paste text in from a word processing application and manage to include one of the invisible control characters. I don't know how easy it will be do do it in Podomatic but you should delete that entire line and retype it to remove this charter.
You should keep an eye on the time it takes the feed to be accessed - if there is a long enough delay (and it was quite some seconds when I tried) the Store may well timeout and fail to read it. At the moment it's showing a cached version from the last time it was able to read it.

You need a third-party program to get non-iTunes purchased music off the iPod. Which have you tried? Th good ones cost like TouchCopy and PhoneView. Here are some others:

i saw this under the summary tab in itunes. when you hover over photos at the bottom it shows how many pictures. i don't have it set to sync pics off of my computer files to the phone which is over 6,000 which it said when i clicked on sync photos from but i didn't sync. My phone shows 1.4GB on my camera roll while itunes, under the summary tab of my iphone shows 2.89GB.

Who is email provider? What sort of email account is it - POP3, IMAP or Exchange? POP3 will work like this as with that whoever first downloads the latest mail from the server deletes it from there and so it's unavailable to other mail clients on other devices.
Either switch your email account to IMAP or change your POP3 account's settings so the new mails are not deleted for some time (a week, a month or whatever) after first download and are thus available to other devices also (IMAP is best solution but if POP3 is all that's available from whoever your provider is then you'll have to live with POP's limitations).

If you are not showing reception bars, then I don't know how the data is working? Have you tried doing a reset? Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, check to see if it works. If that doesn't help, then try removing the SIM card, then reinserting it. If that doesn't help, then contact your carrier for assistance in calling.

Are you sure that there should be more categories ? Not all books, and therefore possibly categories, are available in all countries - Apple can only sell the books that they are licensed to sell, and it's possible that those 6 categories contain all the books that they have for your country.

Iphone 5 - "use cellular data for" option only shows Facetime and Passbook

I have an iphone 5 and I am trying to manage my cellular data usage,
When I go into Settings - Cellular and I look at the "use cellular data for" option, there are only 2 apps on the list Facetime and Passbook.
I have seen other posts online that show a long list of apps that you can toggle Cellular data on and off.
How can I see a longer list of apps.

In Settings/General/Restrictions if you tap on Cellular Data Use there should be 2 options: Allow Changes or Don't Allow Changes. If you don't see these options is that where you see "Cellular data is turned off for 'Setting'?
Do you have a corporate MS Exchange email account on your phone? If so your administrator may have added an override on this setting.

No drives show in disk utility. holding option only shows internet recovery

Alright. I had windows 7 running in bootcamp on a 13 inch macbook pro 2011 june/july model and everything was running fine untill i closed the lid. When i closed the lid down after about 2-3 minutes the laptop restarted.. upon hearing this sound i opened the lid back up to find a white screen and after awhile a flashing folder like icon with a big question mark started flashing. So i rebooted thr laptop and held down option key. When the select network came up there were no drives listed above it.. after a minute or two internet recovery came up. So i ran this.it then went back to the select language for installing lion again. After navigating through the menus it came to select drive but the list was empty. When i checked disk utility ither it frozenor listed like two main cataagorys and two subs. I need some help. Anyone know whats wrong? Will update with more information needed. Note: i do not have the disks that came with the macbook pro i bought it used from a pawnshop around january. Has run perfect untill today

The saving of users may not be a problem. All my settings came back using the procedure described by basilmir for me (don't know what will happen for you, but assume the same). Don't know specific procedure to save your settings but assume that a full backup would be the 100% sure way to insure this.
My point though is that the procedure given doesn't fix the problem. I am contacting Apple Support on this. It is possible that I had this problem in a previous install and upgrading did not cure, though did not notice Wiki errors. As stated, I do not use Wiki Server functionality and it is turned off, yet the errors recur. Several other threads exist on this type of issue and it affects several other Server settings as you describe (with Profile Manager) whether enabled or not and it occurs in previous versions too. You would think that Apple would have weighed in on this by now. To date, have seen no KB or official support threads, have you?

Wiki Server: Subscribe in iTunes option - only showing last 20 episodes

I have enabled Podcasting on a particular blog. We are using SL Server 10.6.8.
The blog has 36 posts with attached media. However, when I click on the "Subscribe in iTunes" button and click on GET ALL episodes, it only picks up the last 20 episodes. I assume it is because, on the blog itself, it is just showing the latest 20 posts and you have to click on the next page to see the rest.
The Podcast url link goes like:

What happened to the rest? Or how will I configure subscribe in iTunes button so that it'll pick up the entire collection.

I don't have a solution, just piling on to the complaint.
I subscribe to several weekly shows. They work fine for a few weeks then (POOF) the automatic download stops. I go back to the sites they originate from, the content is there. There aren't any message boards or blogs so I can't tell if this is just me or rampant. But this has happened to so many different podcast subscriptions . . . actually I can't think of one podcast subscription I have that has sustained continuously. They all have done it.

External Video - No longer plays video...? Only shows single frames

Hey all - thanks for stopping by! I am hoping for help as soon as possible!
So I've been doing fine on my project up until I did the FCS 2008-03 update today... ugh (I know I shouldn't have).
I use 2 monitors; one for my timeline, etc. the other for full screen playback. It's worked swimmingly for the past month. Now, it will only play a single frame back - wherever my playhead is, generally. But takes a second to refresh.
I have external video set to "all frames" and have refreshed the external devices, restarted, reverted to QT 7.5, etc.
What can I do to get back to where it was working?
A black magic card is installed but I'm not capturing anything right now. Will that still affect it?

CUTTING SO YOU ONLY SEE THE TROUBLESHOOTING THINGS
If for some reason you can't view your timeline on your external monitor, there are a few things to try:
1) Make sure that the camera/deck is connected and powered on BEFORE you open FCP.
2) In the Final Cut Pro menu select AUDIO/VIDEO Preferences and make sure your signal is being sent out thru Firewire DV.
3) Go to the menu and select VIEW>EXTERNAL>ALL FRAMES.
4) Click in the % box above the image and select FIT TO WINDOW.
5) Go to VIEW->refresh A/V devices
6) Make sure the Log & Capture window is closed
If you want it to play in both the canvas and the external monitor you need to go to the FINAL CUT PRO menu and select AUDIO/VIDIO settings and make sure MIRROR ON DESKTOP is selected under the PLAYBACK OUTPUT section.

Show vertical scrollbar when 1D array only shows one element

When showing only one element of one dimensional array, only the horizontal scrollbar can be displayed. The vertical scrollbar visible option is greyed out. Even using property nodes does not make it visible. I have an array of clusters with many controls in each cluster that are aranged hozizontally across the front panel. I'd like the user to see only one element (one set of controls) at a time and be able to scroll through them using a vertical scollbar.

I think Brent's suggestion is very good. Another hack would be to cover the additional array elements with a decoration so that you only see one element.

How do you change the address bar into showing the key symbol, when it only shows the lock symbol?

I want to save my user data to my google mail account.
The first time I typed them in, the password dialogue box appeard, but I clicked on something else so it disappeard and since then never showed again on the google mail paige. (It works perfectly normal on other paiges)
The mozilla support site said to click on the key symbol in the adress bar, but there is no key symbol only a lock symbol. On other websites both are shown but not on the google mail website.
What do I do to open the password dialogue box again? Is there another way than to click on the key symbol?
I use mozilla firefox 20.0 on windows 7.

When you go to a website and enter a username and password that haven't been saved, Firefox will ask if you want them remembered. This question appears in an arrow panel connected to the key icon on the address bar.
If you click on other things, or switch tabs, then the question will disappear. But as long as you remain on the same web page, the key icon will remain visible so you can bring it up again manually.
