No Low Ink Notification / How to check ink levels

I don't know how it disappeared, but I no longer have an HP icon, and never get low ink notifications.  I have nothing "HP" in program files, so can't figure out how to check the ink levels.  Every time I lose color I have to change both cartridges.  Printer prints fine.  Any suggestions?  Hopefully I don't have to disconnect everything and start installation over - there's always a chance it won't work when I'm done.  Technologically inclined Im not.  Thanks for any assistance you can give.  Printer is PSC1510 All-In-One.

If you press the Cancel and the Start Copy Color button on this printer at the same time and release them, it'll print a Self Test Report that'll have an ink level gauge on it. you can check it there.

    Hi krmoss,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see that you would like to learn how to check the ink levels on your Officejet 4620 printer.
The steps on how to check the estimated ink levels can be found in your User Guide on page 74 in the section titled “To check the estimated ink levels from the printer control panel”.   If you have installed the full feature software and driver for your printer onto your computer you can open up the HP Solution Center and check the from there as well.

  • How to check firmware level on 5140i and GPS cover...

    Hello!
How do I check firmware level on my 5140i and my GPS cover?
Upgrade is not something I can do myself I guess (service shop only) or?
Is it usual to have 2-3 minutes to get a fix point with the GPS?
Is it normal to have just 4 hours of GPS before batery needs to be loaded again? Hten GPs has a limited usuage.
    /Patrik

Thanks Glyn -- I opened up the airport utility summary page and it says version 7.3.1 and update is grayed out so looks like I am good to go.
Another question -- when I open the finder to get to the airport utility, the preview shows airport utility application version 5.3.1 but the summary page says 7.3.1.
    Why the difference?
    Thanks again

  • How to check ink level in printer cartridge

i just finished installing my C4180 all-in-one printer on my new HP dv6 notebook running windows 7
i cleaned and aligned the ink cartridges, but my black is still printing poorly
i want to check the ink level in the cartridge before i buy a new cartridge, but the windows 7 solution center is somewhat different from xp
the solution center tells me that the ink levels are not currently available and when i click on the printer toolbox, i get nothing
the icon at the bottom of the solution center gives me a big green checkmark, but does not give me any useful information
how can i get better info about my ink levels?
    thanks
    frank hershenson

    Hello frankjh,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Checking the ink levels on the HP Photosmart C4180 can be done a couple ways, from the front panel of the printer or the software installed on the computer.
It is usually not the easiest to see but the ink levels should be displayed in the lower left corner of the C4180 display screen. A small icon looking like a yield sign may be present, if so this is stating it is low.
Since you have tried to use the HP solution Center on the computer in attempt to gather the information and where not able due to an error, you may need to uninstall and install the C4180 on the computer.
Here is the guide to uninstall: Uninstalling the Printer Software. When ready to install download the software from here: HP Photosmart C3100/C4100 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver.
I hope this helps, please reply if you need anymore help

  • How to check battery level?

Is there a way to check the battery level on the iPod Touch? I recently acquired a new 32 GB Touch, and the first thing I did was upgrade to the 2.0 software. I have been unable to find an option or menu that will tell me how much battery life I have remaining.
In looking around I was able to find that on the iPhone there's a Settings > General > Usage menu, but I don't have that on my Touch.
All I ever get is the 20% remaining warning message. Is there no other way to determine how the battery is doing?
    Thanks for the help...
    -Gary

Hard to believe they don't have something that tells you where you're at. The icon is okay, but is not as helpful as an approximate percentage or number of minutes remaining. I realize battery life remaining can change drastically, say if you start watching a movie, but it would be nice to have something a little more substantial.
I submitted feedback...thanks for the link.

trying to get the Patch level of AR, TCA. Can anyone share with me the process to get from SQL Query?Hi,
You can check the patchset level of all modules by running the adutconf.sql under $AD_TOP/sql/ directory. It wil create/update the adutconf.lst on same location
in that you can able to see the status of each module (is it installed/shared /inactive ) and current patchset version
Alternatively you can try the sql query given in the note 420648.1 :How to Establish if a Product is Installed in e-Business Suite
    -Rk
    select * from fnd_application_all_view where application_name like '%In%';
    select * from fnd_product_installations;
select * from fnd_module_installations;may help you.my senior showed me this way.capture the first short name first from product_installation then try to find the patchset level.
