I AM TRYING TO OPEN OUTLOOK IN OFFICE 365 BUT GET THE NESSAGE NO MAIL BOX FOUND. CAN YOU HELP WTH THIS.

Are you using Outlook desktop application or Outlook Web App? Assuming that you are using Outlook Web App when getting this error, please follow the article below and check if you've correctly set up your mailbox:

  • Mail messages are marked "junk" in the outgoing mail box

    For some time all my outgoing email messages have been marked as "junk" in the sent mail box. Today found that if I do not mark my personal information in my address book as "Me" my sent messages are no longer marked "junk". Does anyone know how I can fix the problem so my personal information can be marked "Me"?

    The following procedure thoroughly gets rid of all the files used by the junk filter, so that Mail creates them anew, and should fix the problem in the cases where the simple procedure provided in my first post doesn’t:
    1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
    2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/.
    3. Locate LSMMap2 and move it to the Trash. This file stores information about what does and doesn’t constitute junk, and allows the junk filter to learn. Deleting this file is what Preferences > Junk Mail > Reset does. The file was called LSMMap in early versions of Mail; delete that as well if you see it.
    4. Locate any MessageRules.plist (Mail 2.x) and/or MessageSorting.plist (Mail 1.x) files and move them to the Desktop. This is where Mail stores all the rules, including the rule that governs what the junk filter does.
    5. Locate DefaultCounts and move it to the Trash. This file keeps statistics about the number of messages that have been marked as junk, either automatically by the junk filter or manually by the user.
    6. Look for the account folders. The name of each account folder starts with the account type (POP, IMAP, Mac), followed by the account username and the incoming mail server. Open each of the account folders, locate the Junk.mbox or Junk.imapmbox folder within it, and move it to the Trash if present.
    7. Go to ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/. Locate any Junk.mbox mailboxes there (their name may include the account name in parenthesis), and move them to the Trash.
    Note: Steps 5, 6 and 7 may be unnecessary. Also, messages in Junk mailboxes with an .mbox suffix are stored locally and will be lost forever as a result of doing steps 6 and 7. If there is a chance that you have legit messages there that you want to preserve, either try skipping those steps, or move the messages to another mailbox in Mail first, or move Junk.mbox to the Desktop (to be imported back later) instead of to the Trash. Junk mailboxes with an .imapmbox suffix aren’t a concern because they are stored on the server and Mail would rebuild them automatically.
    8. Open Mail. As a result of removing the rules file, the junk filter will be disabled now. You may want to either tell Mail to go offline immediately after opening it, or shut down the Internet connection before opening Mail, to prevent it from downloading anything until the junk mail filter has been enabled again.
    9. Go to Mail > Preferences > Junk Mail, enable junk filtering, and configure it however you wish.
    10. Go online again if you went offline in step 8.
    If the above solves the problem and you don’t have any rules you’d like to preserve or recreating them is not a daunting task, just trash the rules files that were moved to the Desktop and be done with it.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the folder path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the folder path there.

    I went into my draft folder, after I found what I was looking for I tried to get into my mail box but I can't get out of the draft box. I have tried different means trying to get in, but to no avail.

    Draft can't sent to INBOX
    Inbox is the place, where you receive the emails, not the saved emails in draft/outbox.
    Send the draft mail to your email ID.

    Since I downloaded Mountain Lion 9.8.2 my Apple Mail box has been renamed with my personal password for all to see on my desktop.  Not a good idea you might think but "rename mailbox is greyed out".  Why and HELP!!!!!!!!

    Hi All,
    I have found a strange requirement where a transaction has to be triggered by double clicking on a line in the email sent to SAP Mail box...!!!
    The requirement is, a batch input program has to be executed and an email with error details has to be sent to the address specified in the parameter of the selection screen. If user double clicks on the error details, transaction SM35 should be called to rerun the batch...

  • Bug in my mail box!

    I have come to my computer after forgetting to switch it off when I went away and a 'mail delivery system failure' has been sending to my computer about 5 or 6 emails every five minutes for several days. Help!

    If the duplicates are all in POP accounts then it might be to do with Exchange 2007 and not Snow Leopard. I found a few websites that discussed the duplicate mails for both Macs and PCs using Exchange 2007. For example: http://hms.harvard.edu/hmsit/pg.asp?pn=email_preventduplicates
    This happened to me when I installed SL at home. I thought it was a SL issue until I went to work (which still runs Tiger) and I found that the duplicates had arrived there too. When I looked at the duplicate mails in on my Tiger mail - I found that there were very minor differences in the duplicates - eg. in one email the sender was "Bob Brown" while in the second email the sender was "[email protected]" - it is almost as if somehow the mails left on Exchange were recognised with a different code. It seemed rather a coincidence that it all started when I installed SL. So I think that the connection between SL and the Exchange server sparked off that difference in code recognition?? Exchange servers are complex creatures which I don't claim to understand them.
    And some people in this thread seem to have had duplicates with IMAP as well and I don't understand that one either.
    But I can offer one work around to the multiple emails. If you create a smart mail box with the single criteria that all unread messages go in there. When the duplicates come in you can at least save time and delete the duplicates easily from that smart folder without having to manually identify the duplicate mails.

    How migrate all mail (boxes and accounts) from 10.6.8 on Mavericks (without Migration Assistant)? Install the system (10.9.1) on a blank disk, copied the program and set up manually. Mail accounts and folders does not work to install and configure. Migration Assistant does not want to use, as it copies everything, and you only need to e-mail. Read a lot, but nothing works.

    Try reindexing the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.
    Reindex messages.
    If that doesn't work try deleting MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3.
    Quit the application.
    You need to look in your user Library. Either hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command and select your user Library in your home folder or use the Finder “Go To Folder” command and enter ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mail Data/MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3.  Move the file to your desktop.
    Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the file from the desktop.
    If the application is the same, return thefile to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
    If you prefer to make your User library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
    Show User Library
    You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.5. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.

    I work on an Imac 27" 16GB ram OS X 10.9
    After migration from OS X 10.8 to 10.9 everything looks well with no missing email in any account no emails problems but my clever mails boxes are now empty!  all intelligent boxes are completely empty!
    When I use the ''search'' it works just for the first results, but not for the details !! Because when I choose one of the proposed research results, it gives me always a blank page!
    Outside the Mail software, Spotlight works really very well
    I checked if nothing was fired in spotlight I made several rebuilding the spotlight index, but the problem persists, I do not know what to do?
    Does someone has an idea? thank you

    My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Now, instead, I get the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error." I am working at home, connected to a university server. The same problem appears with both of my computers, which are connected by a router. I have a MacBook Pro and am working with Firefox 6.0.2. I have a wireless broadband connection with Internet. AirPort is connected to Lindstrom and has IP address 192.168.0.198. Router: D-Link Model DIR-635. Modem: ZyXEL Model No. 660H D Triple Play Modem.

    Generally, when a user sends an incoming request to an Exchange 2010 Client Access server using Outlook Web App and the user’s mailbox is on an Exchange 2010 mailbox in a different Active Directory site,
    Exchange 2010 determines whether the Client Access server has the
    ExternalURL property set in that Active Directory site. If it is and the cross-site silent redirection has been enabled, the user will be automatically redirected to the specified URL.
    Thus, please make sure the External URL property is set properly in your environment. And also
    disable the WindowsAuthentication for OWA VD to have a try. If the issue persists, please try the following KB to reset the Outlook Web Access-related virtual directories:

    Sorry for the late reply.  Yes, the ExternalURL is set; otherwise, it wouldn't work at all.  98% of the time everything is fine.
    My issue described a problem that appears only during session timeouts.  I've pretty much verified that this is the case; Exchange 2010 does not appropriately handle the timeouts sometimes when using cross-site redirection.

    I know that this thread is little old but I met the bug now and it is still not fixed and 2 days I lost to find workaround.
    I have installed grid for AIX on AIX 6.1 TL6.
    I have presented two SAN LUNs with size 1TB, AIX sees two 1048576M size disks ( you can use bootinfo -s hdisk* command). Mutlipathing driver is installed and configured.
    I am wondering why there is not so much information on Internet about this bug, becouse asmca cannot work with the bih disks.
    kfod gives me the wrong size as yours.
    I found in My support following buginfo which describes the bug BUG:9495887
    So I downloaded and installed the following patch for 11.2.0.1 : 9495887 (you must know that this issue is not fixed in newer version too. there is patches for 11.2.0.2
    So I installed the patch. But kfod still shows the wrong result (so asmca cannot work).
    As it is explained as workaround you must create or alter diskgroups with exact point the size of the disk using SQL
    For example:
    SQL> alter diskgroup datadg add disk '/dev/rhdisk9' size 1048576M;

    I was trying to pull a report from multiple shared mail boxes by configuring them in outlook. Everything works fine for me here but the problem is that the below script would need a minimum of 10-14 hours on weekly basis. Can you please comment me on how
    can I get more performance? My average mailbox details and my observations are as below:
    It would have about 35 sub folders recursively up to 3 levels in Inbox.
    It would have ~ 300,000 to 400,000 emails.
    I donot know if this can be easily accomplished via EMC Shell but I dont have it either.
    And these are configured in Outlook 2013.
    The biggest folder has about 60000 emails.
    Even plain export without any filter or calculated values in the output is taking the similar time.
    I have even tried to use pick folder and manually executed multiple instances (~10) for each folder but the performance was really worst.

    I have observed that for the execution of the below line hardly it is taking 1-2 seconds for processing 50,000 items and it is similar even if we dont apply the filter.

    Just got a doubt and found that the performance issue is not while processing the data but export is taking so much of time. For Example: Execution of the below line starts giving out put on the fly.

    Even Out-File is taking so much of time. So, I think I need to start looking out for string builder or Stream Writer rather using epcsv?

  • ICloud mail boxes on Mac don't alphabetize

    The first couple of dozen of my iCloud folders in Apple Mail on my Mac are in alphabetical order, but when I create new iCloud folders, they don't automatically alphabetize anymore, so it's a pain to have to go searching through the folders on the left panel of the Mail window. But when I select a message to add it to the folder, the list of folders that opens up in the contextual menu is in the correct order.
    Is anyone else experiencing this problem, and if so, have you found a fix?

    There isn't a fix, it's working the way it's intended, you can put your mail boxes in any order that you want, just drag them where you want them
