No Master Collection available in ALL of India?

Hello,
I'm trying to buy the CS5 Master collection, having recently moved here to India to do some work.
Now I was pretty surprised to see that there's no seller listed when I'm looking to buy the master collection in India.
I was even more surprised that I can't even do a download purchase, as India isn't listed in the supported regions.
I know India isn't a very wealthy country but there are more than 1.2 billion people living here, surely some of them would want to use Adobe products legally? Is there ANY way to actually get the Master Collection without setting my invoice address to 'Singapore' or something like that?
Update: Setting my country to Singapore doesn't work, I HAVE to be registered in the same country to which I wanna ship. Grrr.....

Hi There,
Adobe product resellers are available throughout India. You can start from the alternate purchasing options at http://www.adobe.com/buy/
In case you need the direct link, please use http://resellers.adobe.com/cgi-bin/user.cgi?country=in&countrycode=in

  • I just installed Creative Suite v 6.0 Master Collection and downloaded all product updates - I tried

I just installed Creative Suite v 6.0 Master Collection and downloaded all product updates - I tried opening a document created with InDesign v9.x Cloud version and I get an error that do not have the latest... what is going on here?

CS6 Master Collection is the last perpetual licensed product. The files created with CC version of Adobe apps are not, in many cases, compatible with CS6 versions.
Is there some reason you thought they were?

Alanh61734259 are you receiving any specific error messages in the installation log files?  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Collection available to all the classes

    Hello,
I am just wondering if I can have a collection of an object and that collection is made available to all the classes rather than creating that collection again and again. For example I am deserializing an object from the file in one of the class, how can I make that object available to all the classes, I don’t want to read it again and again. This can be done easily when using java servlet, but my application is standalone, so is there any way of achieving this?
    Any idea will be appreciated.
    Many Thanks,

Yeah Thanks mate, do u think, this approach is better or passing the collection through the parameters is better? That question is opening a huge can of worms.
Normally I'd say avoid the static version as much as possible. Pass the Set to all objects that need it.
This could lead to the Set being passed through many levels of calls, 'though. This usually means that your classes are not isolated enough and need to be refactored.
So both solutions can become quite ugly and writing a clean one takes some experience.+1
The assumption that all classes need to see this collection is to be challenged. It's usually made in order to avoid working out exactly what needs the object in question

  • I have a trial of CS6 Master Collection that has ran out and I bought a CS6 Production Pro do I have to uninstall Master collection first with all its scripts or can I just put the license in for Production Pro activating only those programes?

The question is in the topic sorry.

Suite licensing is specific and unlike with single programs just inputting the serial number won't cut it. You will have to uninstall the Master Collection and then install the Production Premium package.

  • CS5 Master Collection trial download vs packaged version

    Hello all,
I was wondering if there are any differences from downloading the trial version of cs5 master collection vs getting the adobe cs5 physical package?  excluding manuals and media.
Specifically are you getting all the software in both options?
    thanks

Oh the trials page Adobe has this in fine print:
*The trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro (Windows only) is available separately for download or with your trial DVD set. A trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is currently not available. However, the full version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is included in the full version of Master Collection available for purchase. Encore CS5 is not available as a trial. Encore CS5 will be installed as part of the trial for Creative Suite 5 Master Collection but will not be available for use until you purchase. The trial versions of After Effects CS5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and Soundbooth CS5 do not include some features that depend on software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of this product.

  • Encore will not install from Master Collection DVD

I have Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3.
I just installed the Master Collection CS4 suite; all apps installed except for Encore. The error I received was MS XML Error: Error 2. I ran the Adobe Support Advisor, but it resolved nothing. I installed the apps with my Virus Protection and Firewall disabled. They were also disabled when I tried to install Encore another couple of times.
I have searched the web and Adobe Forums but have found nothing to help me.
    Does anyone have any advice?
    Thanks!

    Nicholas,
I do not know how the software is arranged on the disks in the suite, but with the separate Premiere CS5 version, Encore is part on CD1 and part on CD2.
The first time I installed CS5, Encore failed to install.  I knew I had had a problem with the disk changeover, so I tried a repair install and after this Encore was installed OK.
Worth a try I should say, if you have not already done this.

  • CS5.5 Master Collection License Agreement keeps poping up

    Hi,
I just installed CS5.5 Master Collection and it all went well.
When I start any application in the suite the License Agreement comes up and I click "Accept" the box goes away then it pops back up.
My choices are "Quit" or "Accept" quit does what its supposed to do and quits, but accept just loop me back to the  License Agreement.
I uninstalled CS5, and CS5.5 and reinstalled CS5.5 and nothing changed. I still have Director 11.5 installed.
This is a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. CS5.5 Master Collection is a 5 seat license and we've installed 2 already with no problems.
    Please Help!!!
    Thanks,

Just got a call back from Adobe
    The fix:
Delete the license db cache file and start any of the CS5.5 products (I started Photoshop)
File they had me delete to make it all work
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db

  • Design Premium or Master Collection?

I recently ordered the CS5 Design Premium. I haven't opened the software box yet and that's because I'm wondering, should I have bought the master collection? I ask this because I'm really into creating slideshows for my photos. I already have Lightroom, but don't think the slideshows are sophisticated enough. I like adding sound and ken burns effects to my shows.  I'd also love to be able to create some sort of animations like iMovie does with their themes. Should I be purchasing the Master collection to achieve all of this? Or should I stick with design premium and purchase something like fotomagico?
    Thanks for the help.

I think the only feature that I'd really like to have that After Effects would provide is the ability to create animations during the slideshow. I would say going with Master collection is more of a luxury than an actual requirement. I definitely need the Design Premium, but don't necessarily need the Master Collection. However, I know that if I end up really wanting after effects, it would be better in the long run to just buy the Master collection. But you know how it goes, you buy something and then don't even have time to learn it! So I'm really undecided.

  • CS6 Master Collection trial download not available?

I have CS6 Master Collection that is currently installed on my iMac and I need to install it on my new laptop. My serial number is valid and registered with Adobe, but because this was a downloadable version only (no disc), the way it was installed was by downloading the trial version of CS6 Master and then inputting my serial number when installing on my system. It would seem as if Adobe has discontinued the CS6 Master Collection trial download.... and if so, how do I install the programs on my new laptop without a disc and without a trial download? Is there a way to get the download or a disc from Adobe?

This is a trial.  No previous purchase is required, and no

  • Is it possible to not install all the software in CS6 Adobe Master Collection?

Is it possible not to install all the software available in CS6 Master Collection as my computer does not meet the requirements of one of the software which is Adobe Speedgrade?

Yes, the installer will only show the software which will install on your computer.
If you have a 32 bit system (hence no Speedgrade) then be aware that Premiere Pro and After Effects also are 64 bit only and will not install on a 32 bit system.

I have tried Control Panel but it will not do anything, there are no error messages, it is like as if it is ignoring my instruction. • Acrobat Pro 9 Extended not available for CS5 Master Collection

    Hello Forum Folks:
I have a volume license account with 5 CS5 Master Collections.
As part of the CS5 MC suite Acrobat 9 Pro is included.
I was told by a sales rep that Acrobat 9 Pro Extended cannot be purchased as an upgrade from a suite product.
If I choose to purchase Acrobat 9 Pro Extended it would be as a stand alone product license at full price for all five licenses.
    MY DILEMMA:
I only need one of the features that Acrobat 9 Pro Extended offers that's not included in the Pro version.
If I purchase 5 stand alone copies of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, I will have 5 additonal licenses of Acrobat
outside of my 5 CS5 Master Collection licenses to keep up with.
So in effect I'll have 10 licenses of 2 different versions of Acrobat 9 Pro and Extended to upgrade
sometime in the future in order to keep all uniform and in sync.
This is not an efficient nor economical way to stay current with Adobe's fine products.
The Case manager I spoke with did a fine job attempting to assist me but was unable to find an effective solution.
She recommended that I post on the forum and an Adobe staff member might be able to contact me
and address my concerns. Case Number: #204262178

I respect that you are employed by MicroSoft, but the compatability center is not always accurate.  It indicated that Adobe Pro 8 was compatabile for both 32 bit and 63 bit - but it is not.  I have upgraded to Adobe Pro 9 Extended because Adobe says that this is compatable with 64 bit.  The Microsoft compatability center also says that v9 is compatable with 64 bit.  But it is Not.  I have upgraded Adobe to 9.3.0, and it is Still not working.  I now have $700 invested in Adobe software that is non-functional due to W7 64 bit.
So although users can check the compatability center - as I did prior to purchasing my new laptop - but it may not be accurate.
And yes, I have updated the compatability center to indicate that the information there is incorrect.
I have searched/googled everything that I can think of, and still nothing helps.  If you have a suggestion how to make this work, I am listening.
