No matter how many times I reset or update my sync key I get the "wrong sync key" red box error message
Version 3.6.17
Sync was an Add-on before the release of FF4 after which it was integrated into the current release, so it may behave differently.
You could maybe consider updating to the current version which is v4.0.1
To do that, click Help | About Firefox | Check For Updates and then "Apply Update".
P.S. I'm off on vacation for a month from today so I won't be able to respond again until mid-July. But I'm sure one of the other guys will be able to takeover if the problem persists.

I had to make this new Apple ID because I can't access my old one.

After I got the email confirmation saying that my password was successfully reset, I tried out my new password but it kept saying 'Your AppleID or password was entered incorrectly.'
I did this numerous times before. I even tried to get help from Apple Support through email but no matter what I did, it was useless. Please, anybody, help, I'd still like to use my old Apple ID. Thanks.I seen this many times, and in just about all cases, it's the user resetting a different AppleID than what's being used for the iTunes account.

I have tried the forum suggestions for re-setting my home page, how to disable add-on extensions, and how to to remove from any MSN / BING from my add/ remove in the control panel, but it persisits.
I do have IE 8 also , but only use it on websites that only function with IE, but my home page on IE is of my choice (GOOGLE) and does not reset to MSN. So whatever the problem is, it does not affect IE only Firefox

Now when I edit the bar and position of the buttons some of those buttons disappear when I click Ok in the customization, but reappear when I reopen the customization settings.
Why is that? When I put a space in between some of the buttons the buttons near the space will disappear and leave a blank space where it should be.
I'm beginning to be rather annoyed with this Firefox Beta to say the least and am considering returning to the version before it. Whatever I do now as far as customizing is concerned of the toolbar is reset every time I reopen Firefox. The buttons are no longer where I had set them up, the address bar is stretched to it's maximum, the Menu Bar is back the far left edge, buttons are missing that I had put there, and buttons I had removed are returned.
:| I know it may seem insignificant to some people but it annoys the crap out of me. I understand this is a beta and if there is no solution then I perhaps will use the earlier version for a while.

Hi there, please help. I am an existing Spotify user who was on PC. Then I moved to Macbook and just install spotify on my both iPad and macbook. I logged in the first time it said wrong username or password. Thereafter I have reset my password few times and restall the apps on both machines and I still can't login - the same message of wrong username and password keeps coming up. What can I do? I recently changed my apple ID from my old email to my new one. When I try to purchase songs or apps, the apple ID still comes up as my old email. It will not let me log in with my password for either my old apple ID or my new apple ID. I tried to create another account with my new email but it said there was already an account with that email. When I tried to sign in with that same email, it was there was no existing account with that email. That just doesn't make sense. Please help me get this figured out!!!

First of all, a word of advice, don't post your email on the internet, it'll only lead to trouble.
Second, you mention you have two apple IDs. let's call them A & B.
I'm assuming you downloaded the app you wish to upgrade with 'A' and you're currently using 'B' for whatever reason. If that's the case, then there's nothing to be done, apps are associated with the Apple ID you used to buy them originally and can't be transferred to a new one. If you wish to upgrade an App you bought using your Apple ID 'A' you'll need that ID's password. The alternative would be to repurchase the said app with your new Apple ID, in this case 'B'. -
Only started this a few days ago after upgrade - no other add ons as far as I know. I have tried setting to 90 days ect then back to auto private but still no joy - log in to email or shopping stores and im already logged into most unless I log out manually frrom each site
Possibly solved - firefox wasnt closing down properly I found it task manager sitting there probably since the update was installed - closed in task manager and now seems to be working fine.

My itunes account wouldn't open, so I had to uninstall and re-install. I've done this 3 times with an error popping up everytime that "Quick time failed to initialize". The message then suggests I uninstall itunes and reinstall. If I click on Quicktime, independently, it opens right up with no problem. What can I do?

tried to upgrade to 8.0 without realizing that my son had switched my account to limited instead of administator and made himself administrator. installation did not complete. I changed my account back to administrator and retried. Keep getting "must reboot" message . Tried to uninstall, same message. tried system restore, same message. tried making son's account administrator and reinstalling, same message. can't install, can't uninstall, can't run program, now what?

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.<br />
Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue. -
No matter how many times I reset my password, it will not work when trying to sign intothe App Store through my iPhone4S.
What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.

I can't access iTunes Match or make any Music or app purchases or updates after updating to iOS 6. No matter how many times I've reset my iphone4 and reentered my account information I can't assess my music in iTunes Match or purchase or update any apps or music. How can I fix this. For some reason, I cannot change my desktop background no matter how many times I delete the "active" folder. It's as if it's locked. Any ideas how I can fix it?
Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is
com.apple.desktop.plist -
