No Matter what I do I can't get safari to open the following link

Okay. If iTunes is endlessly saying "Accessing iTunes Store", let's first try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

How can I set home page for a new tab? how can i get firefox to open the home page every time i open a new tab in Windows vista home basic??
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox openedFirefox can have multiple home pages if you wish. Each home page that will open when starting Firefox is separated by the "|" character.
See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
To have new tabs open a specific web site, add one of the following extensions:

Can't get safari to open with lion. Any ideas?
Hi, Have been struggling to with lion and safari. Feel like I'm on a safari. Can't get safari to open. When it does, crashes immediately. Any ideas?
Nasty. I have some ideas:
Can you open Safari in a different user account? (that will help to determine if it is a corrupt install or something systemwide).
Do you have any 3rd party add-ons for Safari? Try disabling them. -
How can I get Safari to keep the reading list pane open all the time?
I am really enjoying the Reading List pane in Safari. How can I get Safari to make it default that the reading pane is always open on every tab or window I open? I'm running Lion 10.7.3.
Thanks.Hi Necris Rex,
If you are having trouble keeping the leading zeros even after first formatting the cells as text and then importing the csv values (perhaps you are importing the csv via File > Open into a new document) then you can restore the leading zeros without much trouble:
Insert a new column next to the column where the leading zeros have not imported as you want. Here I assume the original values are in column B and your new column is C.
Put this formula in column C: =RIGHT("00000000"&A,6) , and fill down the column.
Select column C, command-c to copy, and, with the column still selected, Edit > Paste and Match Styles.
Delete the original column that has the missing leading zeros.
Replace the 6 in the formula with the number of digits you need, so the formula knows how many zeros to "pad."
The above assumes you actually need the leading zeros back. If you just want to display things nicely in your Numbers table, then formatting as Numeral System and setting Places to 6 (or whatever) is quick and easy, no formulas required.

No matter what I try I can't get Java working on Lion
I have been trying since day 1 to get Java working on Lion and nothing works. I've been searching forums and doing everything reccommended with absolutely no results. I have tried it on Safari, Firefox and Chrome. None of which worked. I have reinstalled java numerous times. I have played with the java preferences such as swapping the 32-bit & 64-bit oder on main tab as well as selecting "Enable-run with protections, No warning" on the advanced tab. No matter what I do, it just refuses to work. Does anyone have any insight into what I can do to get this up and running?
Thanks

No matter what i try I can't get my LOST library...FOUND!!!
Okay so I have tried everything here and I just can't get my old library back. Today when I went to open Iphoto it was the same thing
Iphoto cannot find Library
buttons
Quit Create a new library Find a library
After trying to find the old one I tried creating a new one, I found some of my pictures but only pictures that I had seperated into different Albums none that I had just left in the ordinary library. I could only recall about 326 photos out of 2300. Once I realized that I couldn't get back all of the photos I came on to here to get some help. I followed so many of the suggestions
ie: exiting out and reopeing Iphoto while holding down the option button, but I could still only recall the 326, so I then went into the Library preferences and tried to delete the com.apple.iphotoplist. and tried reopening it. I still can't find them. I searched for the .jpg and still only the 326 are there. There is no way that I could have deleted them, I havn't put any new pictures on in months and I havn't downloaded any programs. I now have 2 libraries
IPhoto Library
IPhotoLibrary1
And they both only have the 326 that I could recall. I have never used the Forum before, and I actually don't know all that much about computers
ie: I don't know what the spotlight search is
and I am still despretly trying to find the other 2000 pcitures I hope someone has some more advice. please =(

eMac Mac OS X (10.3.9)
eMac Mac OS X (10.3.9)Hello, Katie,
Sorry for your photo loss problems.
I am not understanding what you did before you lost them.
The 326 pictures that I had found, I found them in the albums that I had copied them into, prior to the problem
Are you meaning that you put photos into albums within iPhoto? Those 'photos' are only alias that point to your iPhoto Library where the photos are actually stored. If you put them into albums in iPhoto, the originals don't get copied and should still be in the iPhotoLibrary.
So, I don't think I understand what 'albums' you mean, unless you moved them yourself, outside iPhoto.
As you are finding, when iPhoto loads, it looks into iPhotoLibrary files to find and load your photos. Usually, these are in your Pictures folder. If you have moved the photos to some other folders, iPhoto is not finding them because they are not where it looks. If you have not deleted the photos, you should be able to find them by searching on your hard drive for the .jpgs if that is the format for your photos.
If you have tampered with iPhotoLibrary's files and folders, you may have caused serious problems. See this: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=165521
If your search for the photos on your HD found only the 326 photos, then they are gone. You must have deleted them somehow. You might try a Data recovery program such as these: http://www.prosofteng.com/products/datarescueinfo.php?PHPSESSID=6644886d9d018b32492d16da027253c4
http://www.subrosasoft.com/
For the future.....always make a backup of your iPhoto Library. Our photos are too precious to trust having them in only one location. -
I can't get the new feature of firefox 13 of the new tab.
Find '''browser.newtab.url''' and double click on it (or right-click and select modify) and type your homepage you want, to open a new tab in your homepage.
thank you

I bought an iPhone 5 on line and the phone is locked under icloud activation. There is no way to get in touch with the seller. Will Apple be able to contact them if I provide the imei number of the device? If not what do I do?
I'm afraid so. The vendor should have restored it to factory condition before selling it, so basically he has sold you an unusable device. If you have no way of contacting him for a refund or to unlock it you are, as you say, stuck.

I have a Powerbook GR at OS 10.4.11. I can't get Safari to open!
I've tried downloading different versions with no luck. How can I get it to download and function? What version do I need and how do I get rid of the old one?
Thanks!Only Safari 4.1.3 will work with Tiger 10.4.11:
Safari 4.1.3 for Tiger can be downloaded here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1069
If your Safari won't open, one or more of the following procedures should fix it:
1. Go to Home/Library/Safari/ folder and remove the following two files:
history.plist
lastsession.plist
(Safari may not load properly If these two files are corrupted.)
and also go to Home/Library/Preferences and delete the file com.apple.Safari.plist
2. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari/ and remove the contents of that folder.
(These are just webhistory files and are not required for Safari to run. However, similar to preference files, problems can arise if they have become corrupt.)
3. Locate the cookies.plist file that's located in the Home/Library/Cookies/ folder and remove it.
(Again, faults in stored cookies may interfere with Safari's launch.)
4. Check whether any of your third-party internet plug-ins may be interfering with the launch of Safari by carefully moving them to the desktop (do NOT delete them at this stage). You can find these in two places:
Home/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder, and Global plug-ins are located in the Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins/ folder.
Also look in Library/Input Managers where other third party add-ons may lurk. If you find a SIMBL folder, please note that some SIMBLE.bundles may require updating or possibly removal. More information on third party add-ons here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3230?viewlocale=en_US
Restart Safari and place them back in the correct folders, one at a time, closing and re-opening Safari each time. If you discover that one of them was causing the problem with launching Safari, trash it and download and install a fresh copy.
Note also that Safari does not accept any third party tool bars not supplied as part of authorised extension. If you have installed any of these, delete them, or post back for instructions on how to do so. -
Software update, and now I can't get Safari to open.
I have a 15", late 2007 Macbook Pro. I'm running 10.6.8, and I believe the update was to Safari 5.1.1. Last month, the same thing happened. Luckily, I was staying near an Apple store. They had to reinstall the OS. I haven't tried that yet, because I have the discs for Leopard, but not Snow Leopard (I was upgraded to SL at the store another time, because they did not have Leopard there). I've spent the entire morning do all that I can think to do, as wells as suggestions from other people on this board. I've tried reinstalling and restarting, I've installed the security update, tried checking folders for 3rd party plug-ins and such with no luck. If anyone could offer any help, I would greatly appreciate it! The closest Apple store is an hour from home & I don't typically have the time to get there before they close. Thank you!

If that doesn't help install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8.
Restart your Mac after installing software. -
Setting up ipad2 from a hotel I can't get it to open the I agree page???
How do I get to the I Agree page ?
Does your iPad see the hotel's WiFi network? You have to select the network.
Look in Settings>WiFi and see if you can see it. Tap on the network to select it. After the iPad connects to the network you will see a checkmark beside the network name. Then you should be able to get to the sign in page. -
Post the lion upgrade safari will now not load some pages....apple express lane start page for one....other secure sites such as web payments sites too. Also I can not get AirPlay mirroring on safari.....which works fine on the ipad.
I have tried downloading and installing the update twice....no change.
Any ideas !
Thanks
EpFollowed a thread on one of the other message boards and fixed it....by reinstalling Rapport. now seems to work fine.

None of the other threads on this topic were able to fix my issue. This wasn't happening until a few days ago when it notified me that I couldn't view a video because safety mode was apparently enabled, so I scrolled down and clicked 'off' (about 50 times) and nothing changed. I never turned it on in the first place, and using YouTube is a part of my job. It works fine in Safari. Any help is appreciated.
You may have run into one of YouTube's "enhancements" since it's now owned by Google. It's offered by Firefox if you want it, like for your (possibly) young kids, but if you have it "off", you may have to have a Google account.
I resent it too, don't have nor want a Google account. They want to know all about you so if you buy a garbage can they can offer you another garbage can. -
