No matter what website I am on all of a sudden the page will be covered in black and white lines and I can't see any of the page. What is happening and how do I fix it? It has only started since I loaded Firefox 4 this week.
I am very frustrated because I keep having my pages become covered completely in black and white lines. It has even happened on this page when I tried to use the drop down arrow by 'this happened'. I can sometimes read the page if I click over the area I want to read but this is not common. This has only been happening since I downloaded Firefox 4. I thought this would be a better version but now I am not so sure.
I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
This is very irritating !! If I wanted Yahoo I would ask for it !

My iPad mail is synced to my private email account, which I organise on my iMac. On iPad, I can only see inbox and sent messages folders, not any of the other folders in my email account I have created on my iMac. How do I get iPad to show my other folders? Probably a dumb question, but I know there's a lot of smart people out there.
If you select a mailbox, you should get an Edit button (easier to see in landscape mode). Clicking the button will provide you with check circles for the messages. You also get Delete and Move buttons at the bottom. Check the messages you want to move and then navigate to the mailbox you want to drop them into. I think as long as you can navigate to a mailbox you can move the messages to it.
In the Mac Mail application and probably Outlook on the Windows side, you also setup rules to move messages to specific mailboxes. If the mailboxes are stored on the server, then you can have the sorting done on the server and they should appear that way on the iPad. If your later messages do not show up, you may need to have the iPad app pulled down more messages until they are all showing. -

*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.

*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain. -
both in safari and facebook app. Likewise, can't see any facebook contact pictures on contacts app. my sofware is up to date. my facebook app is updated. please advise any solution to this. iPad, iOS 6.1.3Where did you get the device? Is it possible that it has an IT policy on the device blocking Facebook and/or Facebook options? Look in Options >Security Options >General Settings (actual menu paths vary with OS version) and see if there is any reference to IT policy.

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with
Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Everytime I try to do an upgrade via my PC it freezes the phone (screen set on pic of usb requesting to plug into itunes) and itunes fails to recognise device. This has happened with my iphone 3s, my ipad, my ipod shuffle, and now with my brand new - never used iphone 4s.
It will only rework if I completely restore on a different PC. Have uninstalled / reinstalled itunes and tried all the suggestions. Figure it has ato do with the PC as this has happened to multiple devices now. Very very frustrating as I don't have a second PC and is a massive inconvenience. Does anygone have any suggestions? If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)
Check that you have correctly followed the instructions for your model of Apple TV.
If not already, try using a powered USB port.
Repeat the process but this time try connecting the cable while iTunes is closed.
Repeat the process with another cable. -
at the moment i have had a disc in for at least 20 mins and it's still 'finishing' sems a bit long for 17 songs . also the fan is on almost all of the time , maybe that has a bearing .. ? I'd appreciate some help here as it is getting increasingly frustrating . alao when i put in the discs that i have used they do not register on the desktop . so i have been wasting lots of discs doing this .

Fire Fox does not ask to save tabs when I exit. It started this when I loaded my last update - 4.0. How do I fix? Getting tired of starting over . . .
Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

I have a 3rd gen iPod touch and I downloaded the most recent itunes, ever since I did, only the first song syncs to the ipod. As soon as it gets to the second, it still says its syncing. However, nothing happens. How do I fix this? I have restored and updated the ipod. I have the new iTunes. I have restarted my computer checked the connection and everything.
Try:

When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly.
