I have configured the sender file adapter which picks up the file from file adapter and is sending it successfully to integration server. But i am not able to
see the messages in integration server using the transaction sxmb_moni. There are no messages at all.

  • Messages in Integration Server

    Hi Guru's,
Is it possible that we can seperate the viewing of the messages per user in the runtime workbench and ABAP stack?
For instance: user 1 can only view the messages processed for Software component X and user 2 can only view messages processed for software component Y. At this moment I can not find it, the only way is to have multiple integration servers as far as I can see now...
    Hope to hear from you,
    Best regards,
    Guido Koopmann

    Hi,
If you want to somehow implement the separate Viewing of Processed Messages then you have to copy the programe executed for SXI_MONITOR and hardcode the interface details and give it to User. You have to copy this programe as many as view you want...
You can not separate the viewing of messages but  You can assign Authorization on Interface basis. So that though in SXI_MONITOR all the messages will be visible to all the user but they only be able to open the messages for which they have aouthorization. Whne they will try to open a message for which they dont have aouthorization they will get "Unaouthorized error".

  • Integration Server configuration error

    Hi all,
I have an issue with the XI Integration server configuration.
When I have tested the configuration I have detected that there is an error in the Integration server (transaction SXMB_ADM)
    The value was:
    http://xxx:xxxx:/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
    instead of
    http://xxx:xxxx/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
note that the fisrt value have : after the port number.
I have tested the SLD Bussines System configuration and had the same issue, I have solved too.
But when I execute the test for integration server in transaction SXMB_ADM i have the next message:
Corresponding Integration Server: Current Configuration <> System Landscape
For the SLD Role of Bussines System the value in this test is the old value, not the new.
Could somebody tell me if i forget something?
    Thanks in advance,
    RP

  • Shared Members with Integration Server

Hi all,I need to add as shared members some member in an alternative hierarchy, but when I perform an outline update IS adds members as shered again in my alternative hierarchy.I have two ways:first: say to IS to add as shared only new members, but I don't know how;second: remove all members from my alternative hierarchy before perform the outline update, but I need to do that automatically, not manually.Who can help me?thanksciao

--->1)during INTEGRATION SERVER CONFIGURATION thru SXMB_MONI
i got an error message "CORRRESPONDING INTEGRATION SERVER NOT MAINTAINED" on execution of the configuration.
Ans : It seems at the time of creating Business systems and Tech Systems . you missed to assign the business system with XI integration server.
2)When i select ROLE OF BUSINESS SYSTEM AS ->APPLICATION SYSTEM and
RELATED INTEGRATION SERVER -> (While assigning INTEGRATION SERVER)
i got an error :could not update the business system JAVA.LANG.NULLPOINTER EXCEPTIONS.
Ans : XI not installed properly.
3)in SXI_CACHE t.code when i choose menu path ENVIRONMENT -> CACHE NOTIFICATIONS i got an error : UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE NAME OF THE CENTRAL ADAPTER ENGINE FROM THE SLD.
And : Since the type of scenario you are running is using Inernal adapter engine which is with in Integration Server...so this is an obvious error.
    4)during PERFORMANCE MONITORING
errors: A)APPLICATION ERRORS: INTEGRATION SERVER UNABLE TO FETCH DATA
    B)ERROR CLASS:COM.SAP.AII.RWB.WEB.PERFORMANCEMONITORING.AGGREGATE.....
    C) NO COMPONENTS AVAILABLE IN THE INTEGRATION SERVER...
Conclusion : Either your XI is not installed properly or the integration engine of XI is not configured properly. Consult Basis team for this.

  • Message File Adapter - XI Integration Server not arriving

We have configured a file adapter to read a file.  According to the audit log the file is successfully read and converted to XML; however, the message is never posted to XI.  We have checked to make sure that no XI* users are locked and we have bounced the server.
The following error message is listed in the audit log:

The problem was the Pipeline URL for the integration server.
    http://<server>:50000/sap/xi/engine/entry?action=execute
    is the defective URL.
Once we logged into SLD and selected the business system for the integration server we change the pipeline URL to the following
    http://<server>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
we then restarted the J2EE server and it worked fine.

  • Messages going to the wrong Integration Server

    Hello All,
We saw a problem with few messages on the production XI server for a brief period of time. the following is the scenario.
    1) An ORDERS05 IDoc comes out of the ECC, gets correlated and was sent out to conversion Agent for translation and was sent out to the vendor.
    2) We get the response 997 from the vendor to the file port. This message has been picked up by the file adapter, got translated and was sent out to the XI Integration engine on the development box.
I could see this message on the RWB under the Adapter Engine component. This message did not reach the Integration engine on the Production box. A close look at the message details tells me that the message was sent to the Integration engine on the Development box.  This happened to a few messages with in a minute time frame. All the messages before and after the minute time frame made just fine to the XI integration server.
We checked the SLD and found no reference of Production box pointing to the development XI IS.
I appreciate any pointers in this regard.
    Thanks.

    Hi Balu,
this could happen if your XI DEV system has a file adapter containing the same source directory where your response from vendor is coming for production.....this file adapter will be active....so it is pickng your response and triggering it to XI DEV before XI prod can pick it up.........it is also possibel that your XI PRD system file adapter is currently deactive or has some error in it now.......So just check the file adapters of XI DEV and XI PRD for your this scenario......
    Thanks,

  • BPM Acknowledgement message reading the wrong integration server name

    HI
I have a scenario where I have BPM which sends data to A MS SQL Server database and waits for a TRANSPORT Acknowledgement. The Mesage going to the Database is processed successfully but the acknowledgement messasge fails giving the following error when viewed in the message monitor.
    IS_DETAILS_GET_ERROR
no_integration_server_found: Unable to find Integration Server is.XX.XXXXXXXX
Error while reading access data (URL, user, password) of Integration Server is.XX.XXXXXXXX
Actually the string "is.XX.XXXXXXXX" contains the name of the integration server.
Now my problem is the actual  value contained in the above string is the name   of the integration server . But this name is not correct ,  I mean it is not what the actual name should be. We are not able to find out from where this incorrect name is being picked up. Can anyone tell from where the actaul name and url  of the integration server is read. Is it stored in different locations for inbound messages and acknowledgement msgs. Will refreshing any of the caches will help.
    Please suggest.
    regards
    Nilesh Taunk.

    Hi Nilesh,
your problem is very strange because your BPM is sending data correctly to SQL DB .....your db is processed.....but the ack msg when coming in bpm gives IS_DETAILS_GET_ERROR.
i think just see all the objects in IR and ID are activated.....after that by SXI_CACHE transaction do a cache refresh.........see the return code of BPM is zero or not......the retun code of BPM shuld be zero.......
again run your this scenario.......now please tell what happens......
    Thanks,

  • Messages not processed by integration server after SP09 to SP16

Operating System: Windows NT 2003 Standard edition Service Pack 1
    Database: SQL_Server_8.00, DBSL:640.00 Patch Level: 100
    ABAP Kernel: Non Unicode; Release: 640; Patch: 109;
XI: Version 3.0; Service Pack Stack:16
    Host: PEARL; IPAddress: 10.1.1.13
We upgraded from service pack stack 09 to 16 and since then no messages
are getting routed to integration server. We tried a cache access
though TCODE: SXI_CACHE and it said "if_http_client receive
http_communication_failure". Then we went to ICM monitoring through
TCODE: SMICM and saw that the http service that runs on 8000 port is
inactive when we tried to activate it gave an error. Here is the
    snapshot from the trace file.
    [Thr 3492] *** ERROR => NiIBind: service '8000' (8000) in use
    [nixxi_r.cpp 3845]
    [Thr 3492] *** ERROR => NiIListen: NiBind (rc=-4) [nixxi_r.cpp

[Thr 3492] *** ERROR => IcmBindService: NiBuf2Listen failed for host
    PEARL:8000 (rc=-4): NIESERV_USED [icxxserv.c 1549]
When we tried to access runtime workbench through integration builder
webpage it says "page not found".
When we tried to login to the J2EE visual admin using the default
    account(J2EE_admin) it gave the
error "http://pearl:8101/msgserver/text/logon returned empty list of
    connection parameters."
In SAPMMC we looked at the system log and saw the error "SAP Basis
System: Operating system call gethostbyaddr failed (error no. 0 )".
We tried restarting the whole server but to no effect.

since your OS is Windows try following in command at prompt
    C:>netstat -a
    or
    C:>netstat -an
one of the above will work in NT, the list shows the listening (Open) ports and ESTABLISHED (used)..check for the 8000 which is your HTTP port.
Also in SAP check the t-code "SMICM" and then goto services and see the HTTP services running without error or not?
Hint: Port names are defined in services file located at C:\WINDOWS\systemXX\drivers\etc\services  file..

  • Messaging URL of Integration Server error

    Hi everyone;
We set up NW EHP1 PI 7.1 on our company.
We've done all post installation steps both in Abap +Java side.
It seems my adapter engine has some problem...
First we were getting 2 errors when we try to do SLD registration. 1st eror was:CPA cache update URL used by Adapter Engine: http://sapsrv2.sap.medyasoft:50400/dir/hmi_cache_refresh_service/ext?method=CacheRefresh&mode=<Mode>&consumer=af.mpi.sapsrv2  CPA cache update URL stored in SLD: URL currently used by Adapter Engine and URL stored in SLD are different!
we've fixed it by using Java System Properties,XPI CPA services, directory url under NWA .
But we coundn't solve the second one:
Messaging URL of Integration Server used by Adapter Engine: http://sapsrv2.sap.medyasoft:50400/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Messaging URL of Integration Server stored in SLD: http://SAPSRV2:50400/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Messaging URL of Integration Server: URL currently used by Adapter Engine and URL stored in SLD are different!
Is the anyone who knows how we can change messaging URL of Integration Server stored in SLD?
    Kind Regards,
    Seyda

It seems you are using different urls for AE and SLD (http://sapsrv2.sap.medyasoft:50400/sap/xi/engine?type=entry is different from http://SAPSRV2:50400/sap/xi/engine?type=entry). Try using the same for the configurations you have done
For example: http://sapsrv2.sap.medyasoft:50400/sap/xi/engine?type=entry for both configurations

    Federico

  • Urgent: Message not transmitted from AFW to Integration server

We have trouble with some settings where the message is picked up by the communication channel and passed to the AFW. But, it gets stuck here with an error message "Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<J2EEServer>:<J2EE-Server-Port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found.
We have the "Pipeline URL" in our Business system to point to the HTTP port 8xxx but it is still going to the J2EE port such as 50xxx. Is there anyother place we need to change the port settings?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thx

No other place to define the pipeline url.
Check the HTTP Port by using tcode SMICM if it starts with 80xx.
You should use HTTPport not J2EE-Server-Port
    Like this: http://<host>:<HTTPport>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
One more thing have u select the "Integration Server" as a business system role while defining the pipeline url.
In my point of view you first refresh the Cache and then try. If still you face the problem then probabily you can restart the server (if possible) & then try.

    Sarvesh

  • Messages are going to wrong Integration server

    Hi,
In out SLD we have many servers like PD1(development) , PQ1, PQ2 etc.. somedays back basis team want to install some patch . so we moved to standbox for someday.. Pleaes note that we did client copy of PD1.. so all interface and we developed will point to PD1. now we have strange issue like when triggering the msg it getting appear in sandbox issue.. we chekced the ADM it was pointing the PD1 server. in the business systems too assigned to the PD1 integration server.. But how come the sandbox IS receiving the msg.. when we changed the related integration server to Sandbox server.. still the interface is working..  how come it is possible??
    Regards
    Balaji

    Yes!!  Web AS abap Systems.
I checked the SXMB_ADM , if pointing the PD1 server..
What the connection i should check in SM59.. apart from that any other things i should check??

  • Error while testing message from Integration Engine.

    Hi,
Trying to send message to Integration engine from RWB, using test mesage tab in Integration engine.
I pasted the payload(IDOC payload) , entered sender service, interface name and namespace and also username and password. Selected quality of servie as Exactly once.
While sending the message getting the following error - "Error while sending".
What could be possible reasons for this error.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
       Please check the following possibilities:
    1. Make sure you have selected integration Engine oprtion and not the adapter engine.
    2. The USERID and password should be correct.
Please let me know if you still face the problem.
    Regards,
    Shwetambari.

  • How to find out the HTTP destination of the Integration Server

    Hi,
during the technical configuration of the exchange infrastructure the HTTP destination of the integration server was specified. Unfortunately I don't know this destination and need it now to configure the Business Systems as the Local Integration Engine. I read in the SAP library that the destination consists of the following:
    Target Host,
Service No. (HTTP or HTTPS port) and
Path Prefix (path in the HTTP service tree of the SAP NetWeaver AS) which is /sap/xi/engine?type=entry
But when I type in the corresponding address (e.g. http://ccc60:4444/sap/xi/engine?type=entry) I got a message that the requested resource does not exist.
How can I find out this destination?

    Hi Marc,
Is your server name the complete qualified name?.
You can get this from SMICM>Goto>parameters-->Dispay
    Parameter: icm/host_name_full
    HTTP port name: SMICM>Goto>service.

  • SOAP Receiver- Error While Sending Message: 500 Internal Server Error

    Hello,
    Our scenario: IDoc to SOAP
I have added a third party system in the SLD and have used the same in my ID configuration.
An idoc will be triggered from R/3, which will received in PI, PI will transform the IDoc into SOAP message for the third party system.
I have tested the scenario in ID from Interface Determination and its successful.
But when i try to try to test it from RWB, using Test Message in Adapter Engine, I get an error,
"Error while sending message:500 Internal server error"
If we test it using a testing software like SOAP UI, it works fine but from PI we get the error mentioned above.
    Regards,
    Abhishek

    Hello,
Since the IDOC adapter resides on the ABAP stack, you can use this URL instead (it will be sent to the integration engine as Venkata suggested)
    http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Also check your firewall settings from PI to the third-party system.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark
