No mneu or button templates in CS5

Hi
I cannot find any menu templates in Encore. I have CS5, It is a hard copy and not a download. It is a legit copy. I checke dthe content disc, but, other than a few Fireworks pieces there is not any Encore content ( other than a Read Me file).
What am I doing wrong? Should have this installed when i put in the other 4 discs from the suite? Th pc that CS5 is installed on is not online.
Should I re-insert the disc and see if I can do a 'fix'?

Based on what you describe, yes. I would first confirm that you do not have the "LIbrary" folder where Encore is installed
For me (win7, CS5) it is at c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adboe Encore CS5\Library.
If Library is there, is the content in it?
For the repair install, see this - for CS4, but the filenames are more up to date than other links available.

I'm not a Cisco employee, so I can't do anything with your backup.!
You need to take a backup as a precaution (You should have been doing this anyway) Then you need to call Cisco TAC to get the underlying problem fixed. CalManager is a locked-down environment, and only TAC can get the low-level access needed to fix database problems.

How or can I add an outside url link to a navagation button in Dreamweaver Cs5.5. If I try the properties/link it says that the link is an html and not a css.....

Linking is done in HTML, not CSS (with the exception of a link to a background picture)
So, if your navigation is a list, you'd have the following in your HTML:

Here, in the example above, I'm using the HTML5 <nav>, but that could be an HTML4 <div class="nav"> and you will see a link to an internal page on the same website server for Home, About, Books and Contact with "External Link" pointing to another website external to the one we're on.

Button Templates in database not shwn in CUCM admin Phone Button Templates

I was looking around the database of CUCM (v8.6), and i have found some gap between the 'phonetamplate' table and the "Phone Button Templates" page. Following items are not shown in the front-end:

Is this normal behavior? Is there any explanation why?

7941 Phone Button template on CCM 4.2(3)

Hello,
Has anyone got an overflow error message when trying to ad the customized 7941 phone template on CCM 4.2(3) devpack 3.3?
By default, the standard 7941 phone button template come with 1 Lone and one speed dial, but our environment here need a two-lines phone. While ny other model can have several version customized button templates but no 7941. Please kindly sugest on what I should check in order to acheive adding the 7941 phone button template.

I have let the TAC engineer and Developers took care over the case and they solved this issue for me already. The problem is a missing of line 2 record in standard 7941 Phonebutton SQL table. If you already have your case opened please refer the case number 604361587 to your TAC engineer so he/she can contact the one that took care over my case for the solution.

Button template's styleClass not working

We have created our own button template in UIX, which specifies a default style and JavaScript mouse events so that the button visually changes when the user hovers the mouse over it.
This works, except that on startup, the default class that we assign to the button isn't there in the generated HTML.
The onMouseOut/onMouseOver events do work however, so we get the weird situation that our buttons look all wrong, but they look correct once the user has moved the mouse over them at least once.
Does anyone have any idea? Here's our UIT file:

I just experienced the same issue of my down volume button not working but the up volume button does. I messed around with the phone for a bit. I just found out that if I hold the iPhone in my right hand with my thumb on the upper right corner of the phone and apply slight pressure on the upper right corner, the down volume button worked. After doing this a couple times it started working normally again. Must be a design issue. Hope this helps!

Custom button template

I'm looking the way to change the color of a template based button, in example "Button, Alternative 3", or create a new template as I like.
I know the template is based in the concatenation of three images, but I don't found these images in the theme (13 in this case) folder.
I imagine how to create and upload three images for construct a NEW button template, but I not found in the documentation how to write the right syntax of the <a href="#LINK# class=" template definition, and neither which image file represents the "t13ButtonAlternativeN" string.

I've been viewing the example, and the excellent work of Denes, but he is using single image buttons. As I explained before, I want to use buttons displaying text, and the way to do this is different.
I said before that I don't found in the documentation (neither in the forum) instructions for build own button templates.
If somebody has some example or a documentation link (I think this is a html issue more than an Apex case), I'll appreciate.

DX650 - 2 questions (Exp. modules?/Button Templates)

I have two questions that pertain to the DX650 model SIP phone. 1st) Does anyone know whether there are expansions modules that can be used for these devices? 2nd) Is it possible to create custom button templates for these adding additional line/feature ability? I already know you can of course alter the template. I guess I'm asking if there's a way to get more line/feature space with either adding an expansion module if they exist or a custom button template. Currently we have the default standard template w/ 2 line extensions, redial feature, and then space for 12 speed dials. Much like some 79xx/89xx/99xx models, we'd like the ability for an expansion module or ability for more functions. From what documents I've read, it doesn't appear to be possible for either. Regarding the expansion module support with DX650 i want to add that since there is no mention of expansion module support with DX650 in the datasheet and more importantly when we check the Phone configuration page of DX650 on callmanager administration webpage the 'Expansion Module Information' section is not there, which shows that there is no support for any KEM with DX650 at least for now. You can check with your Account team or open a case with PDI Helpdesk for any roadmap related queries for the same.

Creating or customizing a button template

Ive been trying for a while now to create a custom button template(rounded corner, darkorange background) but since i am using theme 20 these attributes are not changing and i cant change my theme. I tried created a .css but applying bg-color to button changes from 3D to 2D looks terrible with underline...any help thanks.

Interactive Reports - Problem (possible bug) with button template?

Hey all,
I possibly noticed a problem with the use of the button template of the search bar in an interactive report.
When I for example choose 'Button Alternative 1' as Button template and then save my report then it looks perfect.
When I now Export/import my application, I loose the button template of my interactive report, if I open the report attributes it isn't selected anymore.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for bringing this up. One of my beta testers just called to say that two of our IRs weren't showing the Cancel or Apply buttons at all. But the third IR worked fine. In my Alpha version, all three had Buttons as the selected style, so I'm a bit confused what went wrong.
But now I'm thinking if the fact that I had multiple themes defined in the application might have caused the confusion. I didn't deploy the themes from Alpha to Beta because they were all based on Theme 13, and I thought my extensions were included in the application export (which I didn't realize until recently). I'm guessing that if I drop the extraneous themes on Alpha and re-select the button theme, I should be okay when I deploy again?
I just dropped the extra themes in my Beta and the IRs button theme was undefined again, so I'm thinking they were pointing to the wrong "button" style. Hopefully cleaning up in alpha and changing these buttons will resolve this and I won't have deployment problems!

Changing phone button template on default device profile?

I have a default device profile for 7941 that is currently using a phone button template that is one line. What is the impact of changing that to two-line phone button template? Can this be done live, on the fly?

so if i change the default device profile for my 7941's, nothing will happen to the phones until they are reset?

where you can add behaviour like linking to other pages.
The button templates are quite ugly so I would like to use my
own style. In Flash CS3 however, you cannot publish or save as a
flash template.
Therefore I have to add the behaviour in the button itself
and than bring it on stage.
As I have at least 20 pages with forward and backwards
buttons (I develop online training with Captivate, Flash and
Dreamweaver) that means 40 different buttons for each online
module!
There must be a simpler solution, I hope.
Can anybody help?

Has anyone written a butten template? Could you post some templates that use a real html button instead of the table with link button? Which Substitution String do I have to use obligatory in a Button Template to get them work properly? Where could i place the #LINK# string correctly?

CUCM 6.1 = Phone Button Template Dependencies

Does anyone have a CLI query string built for retrieving phone button template dependencies? I'd like to determine how many unused phone button templates there are, and how many phones use each template.

There's the query I used to identify templates with "Individual". These templates are created when you modifiy the line appearance on the device. I had 599 templates I needed to delete or change to device type templates.
