No Mobile Me upload possible - need help

Running AP3 now for some weeks, I suddenly face a strange thing: I cannot upload MobileMe galleries.
As always, I select pictures, than press MobileMe button. AP3 creates MobilMe Gallery. But no upload happens (usually indicated by spinning arrow sign next right to name of gallery).
This is really annoying, since I am to sell a lens and the potential buyer asks for some sample pictures.
It must be AP3 issue, since from iphoto everything runs just fine.
Any help very appreciated,

File upload - I need help

I'm trying to upload a file in a JSP. This page do a post to another JSP. In this page I have the code (there is more):

3) ServletInputStream in = request.getInputStream();
4) int i = in.read(); // here I got the error

I got an error that the file was not open, so I run the page in the debug mode, and I notice that the lenght of 'in', just after line 3, is 0.

Problems uploading photos, Need help

Hi all:
I've been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for awhile now and all of a sudden I can't upload my photos thru the card reader. When I click on File in Adobe's Program and then click on get photos from camera or card reader one of the options that shows up is my Epson Twain Printer but not a camera setting so I can't click on camera as an option. I need to get these photos to someone in a hurry, who is helping me with my sick
horse.
Please help ASAP. Thanks much.

Help. I'm having same problem. I have 3 cameras I upload to elements 6.0 all the time...today it will only let me upload the Nikon. The other 2 Canons are not an option when I try to "get photos from camera" nor can I "refresh" it just reverts back to no device found. I have re-booted, turned on, tried everything I can think of....now what do I do????

dear developers,
after making a thorough look over diffrent forums and now got a idea to upload an image using URLConnection.
the idea is,
1) establish a URLConnection between an applet and servlet
2)send the actual image(confused) or path of image at user's local drive to servlet using post method.
3) use servlet to upload image using Image's path or actual Image to server's hard drive from inputstream.
now at one poing i got confused, that whether path of image should be sent to servlet or actual image after encoding it via this communication to further uploading process?
if at any poing you figure out any unsuited way then let me know also

Upload problem - need help ASAP

copied the upload script and is successful on the production
server. however, not all is fine. my clients cannot upload files
via the flash interface, even though most other people can. i have
written a small html upload page, and the client CAN successfully
upload files to the server from the html form. the only reason i
can think of is that the flash player is somehow being blocked by
their internal firewall. can someone confirm that? and if at all
possible, provide a solution?

Student trying to upload speech needs HELP

HELP!
I am a student at the Art Institute and am trying to use iMovie to record a short speech so that my classmates are able to see it. I have NO CLUE how to do it I've figured out how to record it, I just can't figure out how to share it. When I click on "Share" it comes up light in color and won't let me access any of the options. What am I doing wrong?

Need help in developing mobile application?

Hi all,
I am learning how to develop mobile applications in Jdeveloper environment. I have been searching a lot in google but unable to come to a conclusion on the way in which I could get this.
Kindly post some links where I can get some documents on this and I need to develop a mobile application which should be able to render in almost all the mobile platfoms so far I have gone through
the links where the applications can be rendered only in some selected mobiles like blackberry. so Kindly help me in searching for the best possible options.

Need help using WEB module in Lightroom 2 for .mac/mobile me accounts

Hello,
I need help in finding the Server path information for Lightroom 2. I am trying to use the Web module of Lightroom and build a website and instead of going through another hosting service, I want to use my Mobile ME account, can't I do that?
I have the user name and password obviously but what is the server path, protocol, path?

For those Mac Users using iWeb, MobileMe, and Lightroom 2, here are step-by-step instructions on how to create a web gallery in Lightroom, upload the gallery to MobileMe, and finally, how to link the uploaded files to the wesite you created in iWeb.
1. In the Lightroom Library module, create a collection of photos you want to display in your web gallery. For illustration purposes, we will call your collection Sunsets. Once created, it will be listed under Collections in the left panel of Lightroom.
2. Switch to the Lightroom Web module and select the Sunsets collection (from the panel on the left of the screen.)
3. Chose whichever template you like (from the list of Templates in the left panel).
4. Fine tune the appearance of the gallery using the controls in the right hand panel of Lightroom 2.
5. When you are satisfied with the gallery’s appearance, use your keyboard to type Command-S. That will save your template settings (give it a unique name when saving).
6. Open up Finder on your Mac. Inside your username folder, create a new folder… I'll call it Web Files. (You can choose any name you like, and locate the file anywhere on your Mac HD.) You have just created the folder username/Web Files.
7. Back in the Lightroom Web module, chose Export, at the bottom of the right panel, and export your gallery to the folder you just made (e.g. export to username/Web Files). By doing so, you will have created /username/Web Files/Sunsets.
8. Once again open Finder on your Mac. Go to /username/Web Files/Sunsets and you will see 3 files in the Sunsets folder: bin, index.html, and resources.
9. Open a second Finder window and in it, click on your iDisk icon. You will soon see all of the files on your iDisk.
10. In iDisk, click on the folder called /Web. You will now see the /Sites folder inside the /Web folder. I.e., /Web/Sites.
11. Drag the Sunsets file from your Mac HD to the /Sites folder on your iDisk. E.g, drag Sunsets from /username/Web Files/Sunsets on your Mac HD to the /Sites folder in iDisk /Web/Sites. The Sunsets folder (and the three files it contains) will now upload to your iDisk on MobileMe.
12. Open iWeb on your Mac. Add a new page to your website. Call it “Galleries,” or anything you like. (You can also use an existing page if you wish.)
13. On that “Galleries” web page (or on an existing web page), create a picture icon, or a word, or a symbol, or anything else that you will activate as a hyperlink to your iDisk web files - specifically, you will link it to the Sunsets folder you just uploaded to iDisk.
14. Activate the hyperlink in iWeb’s Inspector. In the URL box, type:
http://web.me.com/username/Sunsets (Don’t forget to substitute your name for “username” and the name of your gallery for “Sunsets.”)
15. Save your website in iWeb, and then publish your site.
You will NOT see your gallery in iWeb – you will see only the link to the gallery that you uploaded to iDisk.. To view your gallery, either make hyperlinks active, using the Inspector in iWeb and click on he link to the gallery, or visit your website on the internet. If you want to edit your gallery, you will have to do that in Lightroom… then repeat steps 7 – 11. You cannot edit your gallery in iWeb, but you can use iWeb to change the appearance of the link to your gallery, or to change it’s location within your website.

Need help uploading photos

I have been unable to upload photos from iphoto. All I get is the event titles! I need help...

Yes, it's possible to use both, but not that way. That command will make duplicates of all your iphoto images, so you don't want to do that.
For now, you have two choices.
1. Set PSE as your external editor in iphoto ( iphoto>preferences>advanced):
and send the photos from iphoto to PSE. If you set the PSE editor preferences>saving files>on first save to save over the existing file, iphoto will remember you latest edits + the original.
If you do this, be sure to choose the right file as your editor. You want this one, in Applications>Adobe Photoshop Elements 11>Support Files:

2. You can export the photos from iphoto, use File>Open in the Editor, edit and save your changes and then reimport them to iphoto as new images. The advantage of this is that you can change the name and format if you want and you can save as many versions as you like. iPhoto only keeps one version--if you edit again, the new version replaces the one it was keeping.

Uploading from iPhone - need help

When I attempt to upload a photo from my iPhone to my Web Gallery, I get the following error message on the iPhone:
"None of your .Mac accounts have been configured for posting from mobile devices. You must first enable this feature on the .Mac website"
Any idea how I "enable this feature" as I can't seem to find it anywhere on my .Mac homepage or account info, etc.

You won't be able to restore a device running iOS 4.2 from a backup of a device running iOS 5 (as you found out). And the Iphone 3G can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1 so there is no way to migrate from his iPhone 4 back to his iPhone 3G. He would have to at least have an iPhone 3GS, which will update to iOS 5.1 and would be able to restore from the iPhone 4 backup. Unfortunately, there isn't any way around it.

You will need to get the required info to create/access the account with an email client from your school.
Are you currently accessing the account with an email client on your computer - if you have a Mac with the Mail.app, or if you have a PC with Outlook Express, etc.? If so, you can get the required account settings there.
