No modem at above number

When ever i try to connect to the internet on my treo palm 700wx(alltel if that makes a difference) i get this message, how can i fix it? Sorry if this is the wrong board.
Post relates to: Treo 700wx (Alltel)

Hi..  Welcome to the Palm forums.  If you having a problem getting a data connection from your carrier the only thing on the device side that can be done is a hard reset.  Now before you do that it will delete all your data on the device so be sure to sync first. If you need instructions how to hard reset go to  http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/nua/launchKB.asp?c=887 .   If that does not fix the problem then it is a provisioning issue with your carrier and you will need to contact them.

  • Options above number key have swapped and no longer do what they should!

hi, possibly silly question, but my the exclamation point, at sign, number sign etc. that sit above the number keys have somehow defaulted to showing different things. eg. the at sign now shows a ™ and the number sign now shows a £. i'm not sure how i turned this on, or how (more importantly) i turn it off again. any help would be much appreciated!! thanks.

Sounds like you set a different keyboard layout for United Kingdom. System Preferences>International>Formats. Change the Region to United States.

  • Error during MIRO fpr number range .

    Dear All ,
Pl see the error below during Posting MIRO -->
In company code 1000, the number range 51 is missing for the year 2009
    Message no. F5150
    Diagnosis
The document type you specified has been allocated to a number range in fiscal year "2009" that has not been created.
    Procedure
Check the configuration of the number range for the specified document type. Create this number range if it does not already exist or allocate a valid number range for the document type.
    Note
Enter '9999' as the year if you want to use number ranges that are not dependent on a particular fiscal year. If you do this, the number range you allocate is then valid for the current and all following years.
If you want to use number ranges that are dependent on a fiscal year, you should create these manually for the years you require using the Copy by fiscal year function.
i m trying to maintain the same in FBN1 but an info displays as " Enter intevals without overlap "

  • Program or FM to convert number of days into a CalDay format (ddmmyyy)

    Hi ABAP friends,
I input calendar day values via a popup calendar from a spreadsheet to BW. So, the values that are populated in BW are the numbers, and not the date.
For ex. when user selects a calendar day for ex. 11-April-2010, the value in excel is stored as 40279 (which is the number of days starting from 01-Jan-1900) and this is the value that gets stored in BW once we save the data.
I'm looking for a function module or method or whatever that converts the above number (40279) into CalDay and writes it to the 0CALDAY infoobject ???
    Please help,
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    Thanks Pranaam.
    Two things:
    1. I cannot find this FM. It says FM doesn't exist. SE37 -->  HR_HK_DIFF_BT_2_DATES
    2. My requirement is actually reverse as you explained. I can certainly hard code the starting date: 01011900, but here the input should be the number of days. and I need the date (date2 in your ex.) based on the no. of days entered.
I found another FM which does exist in my BW system. That is: FIMA_DAYS_AND_MONTHS_AND_YEARS
Based on "From" & "To" dates, it outputs the number of days.
    But my requirement is:
Based on the starting date (i.e. always 01011900) and number of days, it should give me the "To" date value.

  • Skype-To-Go number in different location

    Dear Skype enthusiasts and friends,
I thought somebody could help me on the following:
I have a UK mobile registered with my UK Skype-To-Go, and can call this Skype-To-Go number and it says: "Hello and welcome to Skype. To dial one of your speed dial contacts press 1. To make any other international call press 2", and like that I can make world-wide phone calls for little number. (On top of that, if I register speed dial contacts I also get a UK landline number for these, which is very handy).
I am now in the USA for a few months, and managed to change the location for Skype-To-Go to "nearest location" and have registered my US cell phone. My speed dial contacts have been updated to US numbers (instead of the UK landline numbers). I also get a text message from Skype which includes US numbers for my speed dial contacts in Europe, etc, and this is very handy and it works.
Now, my question is, I cannot find anywhere a US number which I call which then says "Hello and welcome to Skype. To dial one of your speed dial contacts press 1. To dial another international number press 2."
This is very important to me, as I can use option 2 and type in any number I like and it puts me throught. because I cannot find the above number, this means I need to continiously change my speed dial contacts (maximum 8 or 10 are allowed).
    Any suggestions or solutions?
    Thank you very much.

  • Support tel. number 080027752775 doesn't work

    Hi!
I am in Switzerland, talked to a support agent (presumably stationed in Ireland) and he gave me the above number to contact him by phone. However, neither does this number work directly, nor with the country codes 0049 (Germany) or 0035 (Ireland) before it.
Does anyone know how I can contact my support agent (this specific one, who said I should call him directly?) by telephone directly?
    Thanks!

The problem with the number is missing a 0 at the beginning.
I had the same problem and called the 1800 number and the rep
Told me to add a 0 so it's 00800........... I've trident and it works.

  • Dialup to Serial (non-PPP) modem?

Hi,  I just got my first Blackberry 8820 and really like it so far.  I can do everything I need at work with it, except for one thing I haven't figured out yet.  I have already figured out how to connect my laptop to the blackberry and get Internet access, no problem there.   But (and I know this is soooo 1990's, but...)  I need to support some customers via plain old dialup.  Not PPP/Slip, just ordinary serial connection to the modem.  Basically what I do is start up a terminal emulator, connect it to my modem port, enter the Hayes AT commands to dial out, and then log into the customer's computer.
How do I do this using the Blackberry like a cellular modem?

    Howdy yogan,
Maybe you could clarify a few things for me, and we'll see how we can help ya. TCP/IP protocol occurs through an ethernet connection; RS-232 communication occurs through an RS-232 serial connection, typically through a cable that has a DB9 connector on both ends. Do you mean that the RF modems in question have the option to communicate via RS-232 and/or via TCP/IP ethernet? Specific information like the manufacturer of your RF modems, the model number of your RF modems, and how you connect the modems to the PC would enable us to give you more efficient support.
You can check our Instrument Driver Network (IDNet) to see if a plug-and-play/IVI driver already exists for your RF modem. (You'll need to know its manufacturer and model number.) In the case that you do find an IDNet driver for your modem, you can use this KnowledgeBase article for instructions on how to use the driver.
Another excellent resource to consider is the NI Example Finder. You can access this within LabVIEW by navigating to Help»Find Examples and then searching for serial or TCP/IP examples.

  • Plan driven procurement - P.O created with existing number in SRM

We are into SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 as backend.   Scenario is classic
We are testing PDP process, the business scenario starts with "Reservation" in R3---PR
is then generated via MRP in MM ->Transferred to SRM---> SC created through PDP
channel in SRM (ex req.request EXTR) ---> Request goes through bidding process (RFx
and RFx response) ---> Awarded RFx response creates PO in SRM .
I understand that this is OK coz, SRM creates Local P.Os even in classic scenario.
    PROBLEM Description
My problem is that the P.O number of this Local P.O(created in the above steps) takes a
number that already exists in the backend and therefore this new P.O gets created in
SRM, but fails to go to backend.  How can I have a different number/number range for
PDP P.Os which does not clash with regular Backend P.Os
    Classic scenario:
    ================
    a) at SRM side:
    -  Assigned the transaction type u201CECu201D (= the R/3 PO document type)  to the attribute
    DP_PROC_TY
    - Attribute BSA = EC
    - Define No ranges for SC and follow on documents u2013 u201CPOu201D is defined as Internal number
    range (3000000000 to 3009999999)
    - Define No range per Backend system (No range for P.Os = PO)
    - Define No range for local PO (Number Range PO = 3000000000 to 3009999999 as
    internal number range)
    - Assigned the local/backend PO number range(Number range PO) as a internal number
range to the transaction type u201CECu201D u2013 against BUS2201
    b) at R/3 side:
    - Enter the Number Range  PO(corresponding to the SRM number range PO) and
flag it as an external number range (trx. OMH6 Number Range for
Purchasing Documents).  Values 3000000000 to 3009999999 (External)
    - Maintain the document type u201CECu201D corresponding to the SRM transaction type u201CECu201D
and assign the R/3 number range for POs as "NoRge Ext" (field
V_T161-NUMKE) (trx. Document type within Purchase Order Customizing).  Number
Range here is also u201CPOu201D to match SRM
    My questions are:
    1) Is it necessary to have u201CPOu201D as number range under u201CDefine number range for
Local P.Osu201D since this is a classic scenario
    2) Is the current number being picked up from here(number range for local P.Os) for
creating PDP purchase orders(which are basically local P.Os).  Can I have a
different number range here from what I have maintained in u201CDefine No range per
    Backend systemu201D
    3) What is the way to use u201CECDPu201D as an additional document type? Can it have a
different number range other than u201CPOu201D that I have set now?
    4) Where did I go wrong?

    Bharadwaj,
    Thanks for that promt response
    Your point#1
    1. Number range you defined for PO in "Define Num range per Backend System for Follow-on doc".
    e.g :
    backend PO - 10000 29999
    local PO - 30000 49999
    >  I can only have one PO range per backend system and I have only one backend system and I have already maintained the backend PO number range here... How can I maintain the local P.O number range in "Define Num range per Backend system"?
    Your pont#2
2.Make sure above number range is maintained in "Define Num range per Shopping Cart and Follow-on doc" and it should be Internal num range.
SRM IMG ->Supplier Relationship Management->SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges->SRM Server Number Ranges->Define Number Ranges per Backend System for Follow-on Documents
    number range of POs .
Po number range for local and backend PO should be diff since if it is ordered as a direct , local PO will be created in SRM rather than in R/3 system. this PO document type also must be mapped in r/3.
    >  Can you please provide the proper path  ? Define Number Ranges per Backend System for Follow-on Documents
    ---number range of POs .
I do understand that I need to have two number ranges.. How do I achieve this?  Can you please explain this?

  • TS2326 I haf updated my Iphon4 with ISO 6.1.3 but I got Problem receiving SMS messages not matching a contact's mobile number

Hi guys, I really need help on that problem,

Summary: Incoming calls show up only as phone numbers, not with the caller's name.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) On your iPhone, save a person's phone number in Contacts with the country's dialing code in front (+ZZZ-XX-YYYYYYY, where +ZZZ is the country code, XX is the carrier, YYYYYYY is the person's phone number);
    2) Make a call from that person's device/number to your iPhone;
    3) On your iPhone, while ringing, shows the above number without +ZZZ and without the person's name.
Expected Results: No matter how the number is saved (as +ZZZ-XX-YYYYYYY or simply as XX-YYYYYYY) the caller ID should always show up, as in previous iOS editions.
Actual Results: Caller ID does not work as expected and as in previous iOS versions.
Notes: When I receive voice calls, the number comes in without the country dialing code in front, simply appears as XX-YYYYYYY (where the XX is the carrier code and YY is the number) and the caller's name does not appear. In my address book ALL my contact's telephone numbers are preceded with the corresponding country dialing code, because i travel a lot. If I delete the country code from a contact's phone number, and that number calls me, then the person's name appears. I'm am in Angola (country code +244) using iPhone 4, iOS 5, carrier: UNITEL (92)
On the other hand, SMS's are OK, i.e. the Caller ID is linked to the phone number and shows up (because SMS's are receiver with the country dialing code in front of the phone number, p.ex. +244-XX-YYYYYYY).
It has something to do with the Carrier Settings Update as in iTunes i get the error message 1630 which states that: "iTunes could not check for un update to the carrier for your iPhone. An unknown error occured (1630)."
    Thanks

  • Moving from trial to full version.  Serial number not valid?

Trial version will not accept new serial number for authorization.
I bought the full version today from the Apple store (for $99 -- I guess I spent too much due to it being $79 on the App Store).  Apple sent me the new serial number, but Aperture won't accept with the trial version serial number or the new serial number.  What is going on?

While you're at it, you should see if they will just refund your money then you could go to the App Store and get it for $80.
If the above number doesn't work the web page Contact Apple might help.

  • I am Being Charged For a Number I Have Never Rang.

Please can anyone help me with this issue; below is a copy of a message I sent tonight to BT, which explains my problem. I only discovered this today after checking my recent bill.
My phone bills have significantly increased since Sept 2010. I haven't checked my bills until the recent one I was sent this month.I have discovered that I appear to be dialling the same premium rate number on average anything from 4 to as many as 9 times a day for the same duration of around 0.06 secs. The calls are made at various times around the clock and there are normally two in quick succession and they were even made while we were on holiday and the house was empty.
The number I am supposed to have dialled is 08706 060634 I googled it earlier as well and spotted one post with the number titled "phone scam", when I clicked on it and it didn't really take me anywhere, but was posted by somebody else in some forum.
Myself and my partner have never rang this number until tonight following a conversation with BT's helpline. I discovered it was a line that answered with an unfamiliar high pitched beep. Your call centre people in India insisted that the calls are coming from my number and  the above number , "was a call centre or booking line and was none geographical with lightining detection", (whatever that means)?
I have just subscribed to view my bills online this evening and checked them.
Basically this number appeared on my Sept-Dec bill as rang 255 times at a cost to me of £37.35.
My Dec to March bill it appears as rang 918 times at a cost of £138.69.
And this current bill March-June as rang 345 times at a cost of £55.37.
Please could you look into this for me as a matter of urgency, as I think I am a victim of a phone scam and am on the verge of phoning the police. This is obviously not going to stop unless I take drastic action.
    Thank you.
Can anyone in this forum help me with this or make a suggestion to what it may be? The only things I have attached to my phone line is my Sky and broadband for my wireless.
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Update:-
Result!! I have checked my usage since Friday and the number has not been dialled. However this still doesn't conclude the issue as I presume if I ever took off call barring it would resume.
So I emailed BT again this morning and their billing team rang me this afternoon; after explaining everything all over again someone else checked my line and the rogue number and said it was my house alarm system dialling out.
Now I did have a contract with ADT, taken out in 2002 BUT cancelled it back in 2006 or thereabouts. So I rang ADT and they informed me I was no longer under contract for their services. I explained to them the problem and they checked the number and are sending an engineer out on Monday. The operator wouldn't admit that it was their problem, but  he must have recognised the number to arrange an engineer visit. If this turns out to be the case then I will have to chase them for my money back and will have to request to view all my bills going back over 5years!!
Hopefully I found the cause  and will post again after their visit.
I am going for a long lie down now and a strong drink!!!

Can i change the above number range as i wish?
    Regards
    Senthil

Make sure you maintain the number range interval to be no. "01" and not "1" or anything else.  I kept getting the "Error reading information for number range object /TMWFLOW/D" (and /M/ and /V) even though I had added the number range interval as described in the manual.  As soon as I deleted the interval "1" and put it back with "01" that check passed and I could create a task list.
