No more add grain? /verticle, horizontal

I used to use the add grain feature and then I would specify the grain to have a horizontal or verticle pattern. Now, I guess there is no more add grain tool unless you use bridge. So, I tried it in bridge and adding grain works but there is no way to make it horizontal or verticle. Is there any other toold that would do this effect?

The image was in 16 bit mode. As soon as I changed to 8-bit, the filter was available.

But why can't Photoshop give a hint, maybe with a ToolTip that appears over greyed items, saying WHY they are grey? Would save a lot of wasted time!!!

You can select 5 (or more images) and place them by dragging in Adobe InDesign. After creating document go to File > Place, navigate to images and select them. In InDesign start dragging and press right arrow key couple of times then release mouse button. You can export file as PDF, JPG, PNG image from File > Export.

You will need to go to a European Union country and take it to an Apple Store to get it fixed.

How to add grain to video in LR4?

I have LR 4.1 when I try to add grain using either a user preset or through lightrooms grain presets (heavy, light, medium) it doesn't add the grain to the video. Is this a feature that LR can't do with video or am I missing something? Thanks.

Enhancement request for more fine-grained templates

I like to have the possibility to define templates on the level of table rows. If I am correct, currently the 'lowest' level of a .jtt template is the $FORM_ITEMS$ token. According to the userguide this token "is used to indicate the place where a form must be generated". My question is now: How can I influence this generation process? For example, I want to embed text-items within <c:if's in order to conditionally set a text-item attribute. Am I right to conclude that on this "deeper" level of a jsp (for instance table-row level), it is not possible to define templates?
If so, I want to request an enhancement for a further 'fine-graining' of the templating technique.

Yes, this is not possible in he current release.
Your enhancement request has already been implemented for the JDev10.1.3/Faces release. We will the support two kinds of tokens, one that outputs all items as it is today ($FORM_ITEMS$ or $TABLE_ITEMS$), and one token that refers to an individual item. This reference can be bpoth on index number and name:
FORM_ITEM_1 or
FORM_ITEM_DepartmentName
This will allow you to layout the items exactly as you want.
Note that in the 10.1.3 release, we will also support item-level templates where you can add code to conditonally render items.

Nautilus adds an unnecessary horizontal scroll bar

Ever since the update to Gnome 2.26, nautilus has added an unnecessary horizontal scroll bar whenever I use zoom >100%.
Example:
Everything is normal at 100%:
Unnecessary scroll bar at 200%:
A lot of unused space to the right of the icons at 200%:
Does anybody else experience this?

I just found this and this bugreport. Both says that it is resolved, one in Ubuntu and one in Gnome. So does anybody know when we will see this fix?

Is it possible to have my navigation bar on the side? I see where a sidebar can have the bookmarks, but I don't see how to get the navigation bar to be on the side. I want more vertical space than horizontal so that pages appear longer.

I have already reviewed my MRP plan through Horizontal material plan. in that form i choose Display bucket type is "Days".
But only 36 days that appear in Harisontal material plan.
My requirement is : i want in horizontal material plan can appears at least 90 days.
It's Possible?

Firefox should save the download location as part of the data of each downloaded file in downloads.sqlite, but I do not think that there is a user interface to make that data visible.
The SQLite Manager shows that data in the Target field.

More add memory questions for a MacBook Pro 1.1 (late 2007)

I've read some of the previous threads and looked at the info that "the Hatter" has provided. In my case (actually my wife's case) she has 4 GB of ram with 1GB in each of the risers A/DIMM 1&2 AND B/DIMM 1&2. She wants to add memory and my question is can I just add 2GBs to each of the empty slots (Riser A/ 3&4 and Riser B/ 3&4). The previous examples showed only one slot in each riser with stock RAM , so i'm not sure if I should move the existing RAM in riser B to slots 3&4 in Riser A or not. By the way, it's a dual core, 2.66 GHZ.
I'm assuming, also, from earlier threads that adding different sized memory, as long as it's in pairs is okay.

Sounds like the Mac Pro was ordered or already upgraded once to 4GB. They came stock with 2 x 512MB.
And yes, you can add 4 x 2GB.
And yes, I'd move them to slots 1&2.

Suddenly my firefox loads SO slowly. I launch firefox first and then Safari and Safari loads pages before firefox enen begins too. Also a LOT more adds show pages I looked at previously.

Several weeks ago Firefox suddenly was / is very slow to load all pages. I launch Firefox. Wait. Launch Safari. Safari loads page while I am still waiting for Firefox.
Why?

Do you use NoScript? There's possibly an issue with NoScript where certain settings cause Firefox to load HTTPS pages on startup very slowly.

Intel iMac: Wanting to add more internal HDD & More RAM

Well i'm interested but it seems opening my iMac is a bit scary :/ Also i have no idea IF there is room inside for more add ons. Maybe the HDD might have to be external but the RAM i need.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, as maybe you've done this yourself before? Would be much appreciated!

The early white Intel iMac's are one of the hardest models to work on and it is real easy to damage other components and cables in the process. If your Internal HD is working fine, it might be best to let it be and pickup a USB/FireWire or Quad Interface External HD.

The maximum amount of ram you can install in the Late 2006 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo is 2 matching 2GB modules, but that system only supports 3GB and can not be upgraded to use more.
