No more AP manager IP address remain

I have a few AP's that were working fine, had some power issues and they went offline. Now they will not reassociate with the controllers. I keep getting this error message.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

A normal LWAPP discovery/join exchange between a WLC and AP looks like this:
1. AP sends LWAPP Discovery Request to WLC
2. WLC sends LWAPP Discovery Response to AP
3. AP sends LWAPP Join Request to WLC
4. WLC sends LWAPP Join Response to AP
If you follow the log messages, you can see the AP never got the LWAPP Join Response from the WLC. The log message "No more AP manager IP addresses remain" indicates the AP has exhausted it's candidate controller list and received no LWAPP Join Responses.
So, now you have to figure out why. You might take a swag and check the date/time on your controller is current. If it's defaulted, your AP certificates will be out of the valid date/time range and so the WLC won't validate them.
I'd start by running the following debug on your AP:
debug lwapp client event
That'll tell you that the AP is sending out the LWAPP Join Request to the right controller. If it's not, then you have to investigate what's going with the discovery phase.
Next, check that the LWAPP Join Request is arriving at your controller. At your controller console:
debug lwapp events enable
You should see a message that indicates the LWAPP Join Request has arrived from your AP. It'll also tell you if it sends an LWAPP Join Response.
The point is just walk through the LWAPP state machine and find the point where it's failing.

Management IP Address inquiry in UCS

We are starting to grow our UCS environment. Due to that we are using more and more IP's in the pool we set aside for Management IP addresses. Presently, our fabric interconnects reside in the same subnet (class C) as the pool we are using for Management IP's. It looks as though each blade uses two IP's out of the Management Pool so we are exhausting the IP's that we set aside pretty quickly. When I went to setup the UCS environment initially I went to use a subnet for the Management Pool that was different than the subnet being used for the fabric interconnects. Unfortuantely, I was unable to connect to the KVM functionality with the Management Pool in a different subnet that the fabric interconnects. When I changed the Management Pool IP's to the same subnet as the fabric interconnects the issue went away. So I take it that the KVM functionality comes through the management interfaces of the fabric interconnects.
My question is how do I provide a different subnet for my Management Pool. I will run out of IP's in this one subnet eventually and will have to add another one in that is different from what the fabric interconnects are using. Do I have to set the ports that the fabric interconnect management interfaces are plugged into for vlan tagging and then change the network configuration of the fabric interconnects?

In the current version (up to 2.1) the Management IPs for blades are required to belong to the same subnet as the Management Interfaces of the Fabric Interconnects. This is due to the way we proxy the KVM request from Management Interfaces to the Blades CIMC. In a future release we're investigating breaking the blade IPs into their own subnet/VLAN but this is a ways out - no committed date at this time.
We understand this puts quite a requirment on the size of the Management Subnet, but with proper design it shouldn't be much of an issue.

The issue eventually resolved itself, I still don't really know why. I kept up with Windows update, and attempted downloading iTunes again from the Apple website, and it just... worked. It now works fine. I don't know why it took approximately 4 months to work, though.
I'm sorry I don't have any more helpful information. Posting here was my last resort, and clearly Apple never bothered to reply.

Cant sign into iTunes with VPP manager email address

Is anyone else having difficulty signing into iTunes with their Apple VPP account manager email address? I work as an IT contractor for a number of schools and in the past have set up VPP so that paid and free apps can be distributed via an MDM solution. Recently, the process by which we do this isn't working any more. Apple have admitted in emails that they have changed the way that VPP accounts are set up on their end and that during the transition some accounts were processed incorrectly (causing a lot of headaches and confusion). In one instance, we set up the VPP manager account using a distribution list email address of .*******. later, we enabled two step verification and provisioned the facilitator account. but when we sent to sign into the iTunes store with the management accounts email address, we got the error message: "this email is associated with he VPP program". We have told apple about this who replied with a frustrating tautology: "our records indicate that that address is associated with the VPP program, so you will have to use another email address to sign into iTunes." Trouble is, for the purposes of information management, we cant just sign into iTunes with any old email address, we have to use one provisioned by the education department, and they wont provision another email address for this.. Also, we have screenshots which demonstrate that it is possible to sign into iTunes with the program manager account at other schools, so what has changed? If this keeps up, I will have no choice but to recommend to all schools in future that they not go with Apple because their account provision system is not maintained at a professional level. The fact that they are so slow moving on this makes me look bad and the lack of documentation is inexcusable given the massive profits they have been posting. I will campaign vehemently against the use of apple in education unless this situation changes for the better. Already one school on our books have had an absolute gut-full of and have sold off the 60 iPads they purchased in favor of Android tablets with custom ROMS. What is the solution and why is there no phone number for Apple VPP in Australia?

I know this post is over a year old. We setup our VPP account in Feb last year. It's very frustrating.

I work at a school as THE ONLY IT Support Officer. I setup a generic user account for VPP under the old system so that the account was not tied to my name just in case I left or someone else had to take over the role. Now we cant use that account to manage the VPP account. We have to create other admin accounts. Trouble is, most of us already have our personal emails attached to iTunes accounts, AND YOUR SYSTEM WON'T LET US USE THESE ACCOUNTS TO BE ADMINS FOR OUR VPP ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY ATTACHED TO AN ITUNES ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I'm home and I can't remember my logon password and cant recall my recovery key because it's all back at work on a system I cant access until 2 weeks from now when the school holidays are over.

The generic email account we setup is a distribution list account for the purposes of adding and removing people as needed. Apples change now means that we have to create more email accounts. I won't be doing that any time soon, I already have 5 and not about to create moer.
I too will not be recommending that schools go with Apple products. They are a consumer product, not an enterprise product. The promise you the world and all you get is pain.

Is there a way to have more than one email address get voicemail notifications? I have 2 email addresses on my profile, but the email to notify us of a voicemail still only goes to the registered email address. Thank you!!

You can add more identities to a single profile.
Go to Tools -> Account Settings -> <your account> and click the Manage Identities button on the bottom right. That's the place where you can add additional e-mail addresses for your account.

How do I select more than one email address on a Contacts card. I did it before but trouble with Yosemite

Cannot select more than one email address at a time from Contacts. Before I upgraded to Yosemite, I could view all mail addresses in "All Contacts" and select multiple or single email addresses by "command and tap" for mail. Now I have to open each card and select one address at a time. I don't want to create groups just want to select the addresses I need at the time.

i dont pay for hosting at all.. i just pay every two years to keep my domain name and with that i get free email forwarding and web forwarding... so i can create email addresses but need to forward them to somewhere else...
i forward them to one of the POP3 email addresses i was given by my ISP...
in entourage i set up two email accounts on the one identity so i can send email from the ISPs email or from my domain name email... now if someone sends me an email to my domain name email i get it twice... it only does this on my new mac though, it didnt do it on my old one...
if i stop forwarding my emails then where will they go? i dont think ill get them, will i?

You can only have one email account for each iCloud account. You can create up to three alias addresses, but these will still receive email in the current account inbox. This explains how to create an alias if you want to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.
You can create a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your device by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and entering a different iCloud ID. This will give you second iCloud email account but it will only be fetch email (not push). Also, you can only create a maximum of three iCloud accounts on each device so this would use one of your allotted accounts.

Ap-manager ip address is not reachable

we have Cisco 4402 Wireless LAN standalone controller, we recently upgraded the firmware from 4.0.155.0 to 4.0.179.11.
with new image we are unable to ping manager ip address but unable to ping ap-manager ip address. however both manager an d ap-manager interfaces are in same subnet.
Please help me any one face this type of problem.

Hide AP Management IP Address

I'm looking for a command that will hide the management IP address from clients. Currently with my Intel PROSet/Wireless I'm able to get the access point name and IP address that I'm connected to. I would like to turn that off if possible.

Management ip address on a different vlan/bridge

We have several standalone AP's. On our switches we have a data and a guest vlan. Perviously on Aironet AP I configured the ethernet interface with 802.1q trunking and I configure a subinterface with its management ip address. This all worked perfectly.
No we bought some new one's (SAP2602) which has ios v15.2 (the old ones still have 14.3) and I applied the same config (changed the ip address and hostname of course), but the ip management of the AP does not work (Wireless clients works good, so no problem with 802.1q)

Any ideas what's changed between new and old IOS or AP? (I only noticed that in the new AP the command "no ip route-cache") is not enabled anymore.

I'd suggest to define vlan114 as native vlan and change the bridge group to 1

Remember to configure the trunk port the ap is connected as native vlan 104.
Normally the ip address is configured under bvi interface,if still no change you can try it.

Assign management ip address with SCVMM 2012 R2 for hyper-v converged network?

Hi,
I am setting up a converged network for our Hyper-V clusters using vNICs for the different network traffic including management, live migration, cluster-csv, hyper-v etc.
Problem is, how do I assign the hyper-v hosts a management IP address? They need a network connection on the management network for scvmm to manage them in the first place. How do I take the existing management IP address that is directly assigned to the
host and transfer it directly to the new vNIC so scvmm has management of it? Kind of in a chicken and egg situation here. I thought about assigning a temp ip address to the host initially but am worried that assigning the address will cause problems as then
the host would then have 2 default gateways configured. How have others managed this scenario?

Rule of thumb: Use one connected network for your Fabric networks (read the whitepaper), and use VLAN based networks for your tenant VMs when you want to associate VM Networks with each VLAN.

We don't have tenants as such due to this being an environment on a private company LAN for sole use of the company virtual machines.
What I have so far:
I created "one connected network" for Hyper-V-Virtual-Machine traffic.
Unchecked "Allow new VM networks created on this logical switch to use network virtualization"
Checked "Create a VM network with the same name to allow vms to access this logical network directly"
This logical network has one site called UK.
Within this site I have defined all of the different VLANS for this site.
Created IP pools for each VLAN subnet range.
I hope I understand this correctly. Started reading the whitepaper from cover to cover now.

ok, you have 2 options one is work with AP MANAGER interfaces and the other is to work with LAG, whe LAG is enable you just need one AP MANAGER interface becouse the LAG makes the redundancy and load balancing function.

If I read your question right, yes.
My pad has two e mail addresses, and my phone has a phone number as well as a e mail address. For each device you can add additional 'receive at' addresses in settings.
Note, when you add a new address, apple will send an e mail to that new address that you need to respond to, to show that it is a valid address. So look in the inbox of that e mail account for the verification e mail. Note further, some spam filters think that the verification e mail might be spam, so if it does not show up in your in box, look in any spam file you might have.
in my case, the verification e mail came within a few minutes of declaring the new address.
The multiple address are useful if you have more than one device under your apple id, and want to be able to send stuff to that particular device.

I have loaded my Firefox bookmarks into Internet Explorer Favorited. I also uninstalled Safari.
I go to iTunes on my phone and see no wat to connect my iPhone to my laptop. I see Music, Shows, etc., the kind of stuff I would expect, but no clue as to how to proceed.
