Are all music videos pay-per-view now? If anybody knows how to access the free ones, please advise.

Now that the video iPod is out, are you not able to view videos on the itunes store anymore?
You used to be able to watch a hefty amout of music videos, now all I can find are links to pay $1.99.

Yes. The record labels have been pushing companies like Apple, Yahoo, and AOL to pay for distributing music videos. Universal recently reached a $10 million deal with Yahoo after playing a game of "chicken" with them: Universal told Yahoo "show me the money", Yahoo said no, Universal yanked their videos off Yahoo's pages, Yahoo's audience began to dwindle, Yahoo offered $$$...
So, while whatever deals Apple made had the free videos disappear with iTunes 6's & the video iPod's release, I think free videos were on their way out, no matter what.

You made the assertion that Videos were too expensive to be incorporated within the scheme of Adobe's operations without having a negative impact on the software's cost. I CLEARLY showed you that it could. Free video tutorials for logic pro 8?

I recently purchased logic studio.I remember reading somewhere on the apple website that there were free video tutorials available for logic studio from the apple website.But I cant seem to find them anywhere.Does anyone know about this or how to access them.Thanks.

Hi Kilmar. Don't know about the apple site, but as others have replied macprovideo.com have an excellent range. There are free downloadedable examples and some to watch on their site. The tutorials that come with V8 are only song files; not actual tutorials. I was looking for them too! There are also a couple of books from Apple pro training. Logic Pro 8 and Logic express 8 by David Nahmani. Also Logic Pro 8 Beyond the basics by David Dvorin. Both come with a DVD with 30 day version of expres and work files to go with the various topics described. I've got the Version 7 books and they are excellent. Version 8 won't be published until end of OCt and 1st week Nov in the US. In Australia, where I live, not until Feb 2008. {boring!] but they are available from US publishers. Any free video hosting services meant for iTunes podcasts? I have found free audio hosting ones for iTunes podcasts, but are there any videos ones? THANKS!

The best I found was after searching YouTube for, how to prepare a video podcast to submit to iTunes Directory.
Several instructional videos come up that are worth watching. The two I initially found are recommended are podbean.com and podomatic.com.
I tried podbean.com, which easily generated the RSS feed iTunes requires, which I was able to successfully copy into the iTunes store line on Submit a Podcast to the iTunes Directory. Podbean has many helpful instructions on how to use their site and submit your video to iTunes.
Since I wasted 3 weeks trying to understand https://discussions.apple.com/message/23110806#23110806, other apple.com insructions, searching the internet, calling senior advisors in Apple Care (none of whom knew or could read this apple.com page either) I was really happy just to find one way to be able to do it. And easily too.
The only way you can possibly get an answer from Apple is to email [email protected], the iTunes Store says, since there is no phone support. Then I was told to wait 10 working days for a reply.
Thank goodness I finally searched YouTube. (There were many other confusing and difficult instructions on the internet.)
After uploading small video files onto my new site at podbean.com, at least I got 3 short videos onto iTunes that show in my computer's iTunes podcast subscriptions and they downloaded successfully. I understand I must wait a few days to get an ID from iTunes directory, which will then list my videos to the pubic as available in ITunes.
Podbean.com does have up to 100 mb free web hosting. (No video can bemore than 30 mb.) But it does allow everything iTunes needs, including a cover photo and description. All future feeds will be automatiically seen by iTunes through the podbean url that was given you, that you pasted into iTunes when you first submitted your podcast. So you only have to do this once, I understand.
Podbean wants to entice you to purchase more space so they show various prices.
I'm still wondering if somehow I could link my existing youtube videos (or facebook, myspace, vimeo, Flickr duplicates) in a field somewhere and link to them. Maybe?
Now that I know to use a web host that generates all the xml and RSS feed behind the scenes (since I don't know how) I'll explore these options, and the other site, podomatic.com.
Let us know if there are other good, free ones for video.
(One YouTube video said mypodcast.com is good for mp3 audio podcasts, FYI.)

Free video background widgets in muse

is there something wrong with the free video background widgets add on as it wont allow me to enter url for uploaded video mp4 file on muse? My video wont upload due to URL verification prompts how else am i suppose to upload this?
If i was to purchase a video background widget via add ons does it mean the widget is going to work? I could do with a suggestion if anyone is willing to assist as it is extremely frustrating i can not make this video widget work despite following tutorial footage online.

I am not sure which free add on you are using paste a link. I am working on a video heavy site, and have purchased both muse- themes and qooqee video widgets, and think they both are working fine except if you need to scroll. In the muse widgets you have you tube which you can hit full screen and pin so when you scroll it appears in background. The problem i had with any of the background video was that any composition widget stops working when you scroll down. have no idea why! if any one can explain? I got over this with the you tube widget. Have you got video fullscreen auto playing on mobile sites?, One of the staff on this form showed me a awesome tip for this. The giff person as i called them . on your mobile site add a full screen slide show. convert your video file to giff format and add in slide show as hero image. kicks *** tricks iphone. Mind you there is a learning curve to converting the video and it needs to be kinda 10 second footage max to load quick but loops auto etc. no sound, may be the giff person will help out with this one?

Any one Mac or iOS device can create only three iCloud accounts: this is tied to the serial number, not the user account. If you have already created three then all you can do is to use another Mac or iOS device to create a new iCloud account - once done you can sign into it on the device in question.

I would try http://www.zamzar.com It is a website that allows you to upload your files, give an email address, and minutes-hours later, they email you a link for you to download your file in the new format. It also works for such things as downloading web based videos (like YouTube videos). I hope this answers your needs,

We are running a SAP ERP Ecommerce, we get a strange alert box message "no more free items available, please create a new one". This alert window pops up only when you have created one order in a session and you are trying to create another order. Has anyone come across this issue?
Steps to recreated this issue
1. Create an order with any product - quantity is rounded to next possible value.
2. Order created, close the order.
3. Trying to create new order. (Product field is not a text box anymore)
4. Try to transfer product from catalog by hitting shopping basket icon.
5. Error message -> "No more free items available, please create new one".

Synchronizing 2 or more QT video streams to 2 or more video outputs?

My students need to play two or more QT video files in sync (ideally contained in the same file) to two or more video outputs. We have an app. called Modul8 which can do this but it's way to complex for operation in an art gallery installation. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ah, found the answer, the irrelevant video needs to be set to fullScreenTakeOver=false, and then when it's the relevant video, the same property needs to be set to true.

Need more free space

My kids are playing Sims 2 and occasionally the game will not load because the Imac says that we need more available free space. Does anyone know how to remedy this?
Also, would increasing the amount of Virtual Memory resolve this? If so, how do I do that?

The reference is to disk space not memory. Apparently your hard drive is too full. You either need to delete some data to make more free space or put in a larger hard drive or get an external drive and move some files from the internal drive to the external drive to free up space.
Virtual memory is under the control of the OS and expands or contracts as needed. There's no need for the user to modify the amount of VM.

No more free item numbers (Please check)

Dear Experts ,
We are in a process of upgradation and during Unit testing I am facing a issue for which i require your suggestions.
While Converting the Planned order to prod Ord in CO40 every thing is ok except when i check in component overview i get a msg "No more free item numbers (Please check)" and the BOM item numbers are visible as 9999 where as it should be 0010 & 0020 .May i know why is it so and how can i rectify it .

I suggest you to do the conversion for a single planned order in TCode : CO41 or from MD04(screen itself by double clicking) and check the production order in Tcode ; CO02 / CO03.
