No multiple Email Signatures?

Could it really be that iphone STILL only allows one email signature? One of my biggest complaints about the iphone was that it only supported one email signature. I have two accounts, one personal and one for work and I do not want the same signature for both. I was sure they would fix this in 3.0 considering how simple it seems to fix, but it looks like it still only allows for one. It would be great if someone could tell me they fixed this and I'm just missing it.

You may send requests for feature enhancements to Apple to http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.
While I wish there was a way to select multiple signatures, I woulnd't think that it would be something to convince me to ditch the device.

  • Multiple Email Signatures

I use my iPhone for both work and personal email. It would be helpful to support multiple email signatures so you can associate the appropriate signature with the appropriate email account. This is functionality that the BlackBerry supports! Currently it looks like you can only have one signature and it applies to all email accounts. I'd even be happy if you could have one signature but it only gets applied to one email account.

You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • How does one have multiple email signatures on iPad?

I don't fancy having to purchase an app just to have my business signature when using Mail on my iPad, but I also have my personal email on there as well, so I don't want to have just one signature.  Surely Apple thought of this for the business user.

There is only one signature for now, you can buy a  third part app or do this work around
Settings>General>keyboard>shortcut>create new shortcut. it a one liner though.

  • I have multiple emails, how do I add different signatures for each email address

I have multiple emails for different companies I work for, how do I add a different signature for each one, it seems like I have to use the same one for all of them

Thanks.  I think I'm on the right track.  I added the email address to my contacts and double clicked the image icon to change it, but it only lets me snap a new picture or select an image from another location.  What is the folder location of the stock icons that come with Mac OSX?

  • Multiple email accounts in mac mail signatures

My boss uses Mac Mail with five different email accounts, each with an associated email signature.
When she composes an email, the "from" field defaults to whichever email account she used last, and its associated signature appears in the email. This is her issue since switching to Mavericks (not sure which version) : When she switches the "from" field from, say, her personal account to her legal practice account, both signatures appear in the email. In other words, the signatures don't switch when she switches accounts-- they just pile up at the end of the email.
Is there a setting that will allow her signatures to switch with the accounts, rather than her needing to go back and delete the additional signatures?

    1. OK, so I see a menu of outgoing smtp servers. Does that replace the 'sent from' field or is it just using that server to send the message?
The SMTP server is unrelated to the 'from' address.
The pop-up menu referenced only exists if you have multiple accounts configured in Mail.app preferences - if you only have one account then there's no point in Mail.app offering the chance to choose which account to send from.
You should use Mail Preferences to create additional accounts, one for each email address you use. Each account can be linked to a specific SMTP and POP/IMAP server for sending and receiving mail for that address.
If you have multiple addresses that you use with a single SMTP/POP/IMAP account then you can use a single Account setup in preferences - just list each email address in a comma-delimited list in the 'email address' field. e.g. creating an account with 'email address' set to: '[email protected], [email protected]' will give you options for those two email addresses when you create a new message.

  • Single email signature for multiple devices

    Hi,
I want to use one email signature from my mac mail account - I want it to be the same from iPhone, iPad and desktop mac - ideally including my logo, phone number and website as a clickable link.
Is this possible because I'm really struggling.
    Thanks in advance!

You need an IMAP or Exchange account...not a configuration problem...type of mail account problem. Keeping things in Sync across multiple devices can't be done with a POP account.

  • What is the best way to add multiple images with links into an email signature?

I created an email signature with five linked images by:
    * creating new message
    • attached the image
    • adding link to the image
    • copied new email signature
    • under Preferences/Signature added the new signature
It all works, but some of the emails bounced back. When we removed the images, the email went through.
I  tried putting all the images into Photoshop and making it all one image, used the slice tool to create a link for each image and brought that single image into the signature, but that didn't work as separate links.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Bob.
So what I should have done on my PC for all my files is gone to the File menu and used the Package command which would have converted it into a file with the images in it so they wouldn't need to be relinked.
From now on I will only be working on Mac (I gave away my PC) but I'm sure I could use a friend's pc (or at a later point install Windows on my Mac). But to use the Package command on PC I need to actually have the images in the correct folder on the PC right?

  • IOS Signature Settings for Multiple Email Accounts causes crashes and errors

    Hello Everyone,
I've been having troubles with iOS email signature for severals years from iOS 4 (?) through iOS 7 on everything ranging from an iPad2, iPad3, IPad Air, and various iPhones.  I'm currently on an iPad Air 128GB WiFi running iOS 7.1.2.
I have about 12 email accounts. I have it set to a unique signature per account. Whenever I try to scroll the list of signatures in the settings app, it will often have greyed out areas where a signature is supposed to be (especially after adding a new account). Other accounts will blur together and overlap each other. Very often the whole settings app crashes. Once the crashes start, they happen more frequently and you basically have to Power Off and Restart the iPad to get it back to a somewhat stable state.
I've come to accept that the Mail Signatures is broken and not stable. But maybe I'm just doing it wrong. So, I ask you great and wonderful Apple Community: Any suggestions? Or just keep on like I've been doing for the last several years?
    Thank you!
    Paul Holje

this crash has been present since ios6 (apparently). it's apparently caused by a buffer overflow (i've not yet examined the crash files i've been generating) because the engineers never tested use cases such as yours or mine.
a painful workaround is to disable all your email accounts but one, edit its signature, then disable it, and enable the next one, and so on. ios saves the correct signature for each account and the settings app crash does not occur.
    hope this helps

  • Multiple Digital Signatures on single profile.

    Hello,
I have a question. Can I create multiple digital signatures on a single system.
If Yes, I can create digital signature of any "Signature required person"  and I can sign for him, If I have his email id and Organization name, correct?
It means we can easily sign for any other person in the world. If so, how does this system mean to be safe ?
    Thanks

Please repost this issue in Acrobat forum. This is reader forum.

  • How to do Multiple digital signatures?

I have created a form in Acrobat 9 Pro with multiple digital signatures. This is an approval form that is emailed "up the chain of command".  I have enabled extended features in Adobe Reader so that users without Acrobat 9 can digitally sign the form.  I created the form and did a certified signature.  I then emailed it to a typical user who filled in the form and emailed it to her boss for a digital signature.  Her boss digitally signed it and emailed it to the CFO.  The CFO does not have Acrobat 9.  When she gets it, she gets the error message "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader.  The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available.  Please contact the author for the original version of this document."  How do I correct this?

    Steve,
I wanted to test how cumbersome it would be to have the 2 staff members open with Adobe Reader instead of Creative Suite; however, I have not been able to find any option like "open with" in my outlook email.  Every time I try to open it defaults to my Acrobat 9 Pro to open the document.  Would the 2 staff members have to save the email and then use "open with" in order to by pass Creative Suite?
Also I am not sure if you answered my question last time - Is it possible to just upgrade the Acrobat portion of Creative Suite or do you have to upgrade the entire Creative Suite just to get the newer Acrobat?  I will also be checking the upgrade link you sent.  Thanks.

  • Form Size issue with multiple Digital Signatures

I have created a form (liveCycle 8) with multiple digital signatures required.  When each user signs the form, that section of the form is locked using collections.  The form is workflow through email after each user signs it.  Each time the user signs and forwards the form, the form's size becomes too large.
How can the form be optimized to compress each time an users signs the form?
    Thank you,
    Lori

    Steve,
After your request to post the form, I wanted to removal some company items like the Logo.  Once I removed the Logo, I found the biggest issue was a Logo image size that was making the file so large.  Once I reduced the image size, the signatures only added 46kb at each signature level.
    Thank you for your help,
    Lori

  • Server based email signature

    Hi
I am really struggling here. I am using os x 10.8 server. I have set up this server as a mail server.  I am now trying to set up a company wide email signature that will go out on iphones, ipads, imacs, laptops etc. Is this possible? If not is it possible to have a group signature for the desktop computers?
    erver hopeful
    Rob

It is possible to do, but hardly trivial. There's certainly nothing in the GUI to do this, so you'll need to get under the hood and drive Postfix directly.
The solution lies in adding a mail filter to Postfix so that it runs alll the mail through a script that adds the signature. This would be trivial if you could guarantee all emails were plain text, but you can't - emails have styled text, images, attachments, and more. Some emails are sent in multiple content-types, such as a plaintext and rich text variants, and just slapping some text on the end will render such emails invalid. Therefore you need a system that is able to decode the message, separate attachments from content, and attach the signature in the right place(s).
The classic solution for this is a script called AlterMIME and their site has various hints on how to install and configure it.

  • Server based outbound email signatures

Is there anyway to have the server attach an email signature to an outbound message? I have a nice new shiny HTML signature design by our graphic department that they want attached to everyones email. I can set up the signature in everyones' email client. Because of iPhones, androids, Blackberrys, webmail and the rest, there are a lot of clients to configure. In an ideal world, it would be nice to have the server attach it before the message goes out.
I have tried alterMIME. However I can not get it to install (it hit an unknown command at line 500). Since I was trying to install it on a production server, I stopped.
There may not a way to do this. But I thought I might ask.
    Thanks,
    Henry

  • Multiple email addresses help

I just got the Droid X.   I have multiple email addresses with different signatures, when I put in one, it goes to all.  How do I fix this?

I just tested this on my accounts and never realized this.... It appears that you can only use one signature on all the accounts except SMS.   Guess you can remove signature from app and input your own at the end of each email but that would somewhat be a pain.

  • Company wide HTML email signatures on Exchange 2013

Not free, but how about centrally managed email signatures for Exchange: https://www.exclaimer.com/

There are a lot of login scripts that people have posted in the script center here that do this.  Without third party software you are left with either a scripted solution or transport rules.
I don't like the transport rules, because they append the signature at the bottom of the email and not inline with the reply.  You can recognize those when you see an email from someone that has multiple signatures clumped at the bottom.
