No Music in Ipod since upgrading to ios4??

Since I upgraded to 4 on my iphone 3g I can only play music through my playlist when i go to search by artist or anything else, it says no music even though the playlist is there?

I have done the following, which seems to have solved the problem. 1. Deleted the Audi Bluetooth device from the phone memory. 2. Turned bluetooth off, Done a hard restart on the phone, restarted Bluetooth. 3. Deleted the phone from the car's memory. 4. Re-paired the two. I am guessing the software update changed the 'signature' a bit so that the car no longer recognised it. Re-pairing with new software means it is now recognised.

Ipod 3g upgraded to iOS4 keeps restarting!

Hi I upgrade to iOS4 my ipod 3g 32 gb, and since i did it, when I click the home button, every once in a while it restart! Black screen the apple logo and lock screen again!!
Sometimes it happens with every click to home button, sometimes i can click it several times (getting out of different apps) and it does not happen, but eventually it ALWAYS RESTART!!
I tried Restart manually, Restore, Restore in Recovery mode and keeps doing the same!!
Somebody please help me!!!

2nd gen 8G iPod Touch, upgraded to iOS4, now wifi doesn't work

I have a 2nd gen iPod Touch and I upgraded to iOs4 a few hours ago, and now my wifi won't connect no matter what I do. I've restored the whole iPod twice. I've renewed the lease on the wifi connection for our home network. I've done just about everything that I have found on the internet to try and help and nothing works.
I select our home network and type in the password and it "connects". But if I try to do anything online, it immediately says that it's not connected. It works otherwise, but I mainly use it for apps, and most of those apps need an internet connection. It's starting to seem like a very pretty paperweight.
I've seen that others have had similar problems, but has anyone found a fix for this yet? I can't afford to just go out and buy a new iPod, especially since the new operating system is what made it break

Syncing problem since upgrading to iOS4

I have a 3GS and I recently upgraded to iOS4. I sync my phone to two computers, one at home and one at work, to keep my calendars updated. Since installing iOS4, I've noticed that when I say "merge info" what happens is that the computer wins and erases any calendar events on the iPhone that are not on the computer. In other words, it is NOT merging the info. If I've synced to that same computer most recently then add an iPhone calendar event, that does sync to the computer next time I sync. The problem is only when I switch to the second computer and I have to manually click the calendar sync button.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

I also have this problem. It occurred on my iPod Touch only after I "upgraded" to iOS4, and it has always been the case with my new iPhone. Talking to the Genius Bar, they were surprised I was ever able to do this, and had no idea how to make it work, other than subscribing to MobileMe. But I've seen elsewhere in the forums that that might not even work.

Restore button unavailable, iTunes not copying any music to ipod since 7.3

I don't know if it is related to my problems, but I just updated to iTunes 7.3 via software update. I synced my iPod for the first time yesterday. When I went to browse the music on the iPod, it showed that there were no items listed under Playlist, music, artist, song, etc... The ipod has all of my photos, calendars, and contacts on it, but no music. iTunes is telling me that the ipod has my entire library on it along with playlists. When I go to about on the ipod itself, it says that I have 6 GB of music on there, but I am unable to play it. I have tried restoring on a different computer, restoring with windows and then restoring with a mac to make sure that everything is wiped off, but no matter what, my computer isn't letting me put music on this ipod. Any ideas?

I can't copy tunes from Itunes library to Ipod since upgrading to Itunes 11

I have upgraded to ITUNES 11, however I cannot move music from my lubrary to my IPOD Touch.I have tries the ADD TO option and all seems to work, but not visable on my IPOD

I have the same problem too after installing Itunes on a new Windows 8 laptop, but have no "Add to" option. Am I missing something obvious??

IPhone will not sync music, movies etc since upgrading to Mavericks...

Upgrade to Mavericks on Tuesday. I also upgraded to iTunes 11.1.2 and iOS 7 7.0.3. Since this time iTunes will not sync my music movies or TV shows to my iPhone five. I have tried everything can't find a solution. Is anyone else having this issue?

Well...last night, I thought I had it all figured out. I had several successful syncs after I used the method in my post above. Even when making changes to playlists, everything synched successfully every time.
Tonight, however, it's back to the same crap. Hanging on "Waiting for changes..." and no changes being made. Sometimes iTunes crashes in the process.
The only thing that seems to complete correctly is the backup, as it logs it correctly under "Latest Backup"...but ****, who knows if THAT'S even working right.
Really frustrated, Apple. And yes...I've sent detailed iTunes feedback here and via the error box that pops up when iTunes crashes.

Since upgrading to IOS4 I get signed out of Hotmail when I close safari

I have an iPhone 3GS and updraged to iOS4 on Saturday.
Since the upgrade Safari will sign me out of hotmail when I close it (via double tapping the home button)
This never happened with iOS3!
I do not get logged out of other websites just hotmail. THIS IS INFURIATING.
I know you'll all probably think im strange but i like to read my email in safari...
Is there anyway I can continue to check my email in Safari and not be signed out everytime I close safari ??

Itunes won't recongize my ipod since upgrade

Since I upgraded to itunes 8 itunes will no longer recognize my ipod.
How can I go back to itunes 7.7? I can't use 8 at all.

They don't seem to be that helpful on this message board but there are some websites out there that have older versions, just google (older versions itunes) that worked for me.
It takes some trials and errors to load the older itunes but it will work. Apple is very picky about not letting you use older versions so installing is a bit annoying. Also depending on which Ipod you have the newest will not work on the older itunes.

Microphone not recognised since upgrade to iOS4

Applications no longer recognise the microphone in my Apple earphone + remote + mic since I upgraded my 2nd gen touch to iOS4.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Mine seems to work. Make sure wifi is turned on.

Movies not on iPod since upgrade

Since I upgraded to 1.2 my movies no longer show on my iPod. Am I missing something here? Can anyone help. They were on my iPod before but not in movies folder anymore, they appear in iTunes fine.

Just a suggestion:
With your iPod plugged in, click on the "movies" tab. Do you have "all movies" selected, or "All Unwatched" or each selection only? I notice that iTunes created a lot of additional categories under Movies, Podcasts and TV Shows tabs. Due to the additional settings in the TV Shows Tabs, a short I downloaded from SNL wasn't showing up. It took some doing, but I finally got it onto my iPod.
Hopefully Apple will correct these bugs quickly.

Cannot send MMS since upgrading to iOS4, even though the option is there

I have upgraded my 3GS phone to iOS4 and all is okay except I can't get a MMS to send. The option is there in settings which is switched to ON, I have the camera on the text message screen, but each time I try to send a MMS it stops a little from the end of the progress bar and I get a red circle with the exclamation mark in it - message send failure!
I have restored my phone, turned it off and back on again - any clues anyone?

Sorted - its a service provider issue, in my case O2. I called tech support and they gave me new settings to add into the network settings fields and it now works.

Since upgrade to iOS4 Safari does not remember passwords

Since I've updated my 3GS to iOS4 via ITunes, Mobile Safari keeps asking to save username and passwords, even if I've visited the site before and said "Yes" to save username and password, at the next visit, Safari doesn't remember and I have to enter the details again.
I've already cleared Cache, History and Cookies, turned off and on the auto-fill option, but the problem persists.
Anyone got an idea ?

Apple seems to have completely missed browser user/password remember feature all over again. This had happened with iPhone 1.1.4 firmware as well. Hope they correct this issue with iOS 4.0.1 update. Apple discussion forum thread specifically mentions users with iPhone 3G and 3GS are facing this issue. Last time a mod called Fix Safari Cookies via Cydia did the trick - Tired of having to enter your username and password everytime you visit your favourite site? With FixSafariCookie not anymore! This package / utility overwrites your cookies and changes the permissions that safari can actually write and save your cookies.

IPod Touch 2nd Generation iOS4 Problems

Okay, I have an iPod touch 2G 16GB, since upgrading to iOS4 my ipod's suffered numerous crashes, it started off whilst playing games but has now decided to do it when listening to music also.
Basically what happens is the screen will flash white and then the display disappears turning the device off. Then when I try to turn it back on it won't work, not even hard resets work. I have to wait hours before tryin another 4 or 5 times before it gets going again.
The device hasn't been jail broken, I've restored it and reinstated everything but I'm at a loss here.
Any help would be appreciated

I am having similar problems, except it doesn't take hours it just returns me to my home screen. Also many apps won't even begin to play. I have updated some of my games and things with versions they claim are iOS4 compatible but they still have issues from time to time. It's very obviously a iOS4 problem or just a problem with every app available at the moment. Either way I think we can say this is a huge FAIL on apple's part to bring this out either to early or at all. I was planning on getting a new Iphone 4 but after these problems I can see why a lot of people are starting to buy Droid and I will be looking into buying one of those too.
