No name appears in sms N95

I bought nokia n95 phone two days ago. It is a very good phone but the only problem am facing is that whenever I receive an sms, the number appears only and not the name though the name is saved in my contacts
Please help me on what to do
I have upgrated my software but still the same problem

Chances are either:
1. There is a duplicate number among your contacts, or
2. Country code, state code issue. E.g. if the incoming number is +1 23 4567890, where 1 is country, 23 is state and 4567890 is the number, and your contact only stores 4567890, it may not be able to recognise the number stored within your contact list.
Anyone can elaborate on point 2, cause the 2nd problem doesn't occur in my country island? ^_^;

Which contact name appears for SMS?

In my address book I have a contact called "ICE (Emergency Contact)" which includes the phone numbers of the people closest to me in case I'm in an accident and someone else has my iPhone. All of the people included in "ICE" also have their own separate entries in address book.
Unfortunately, whenever I receive an SMS or call from anyone in "ICE", the phone reports them as "ICE", instead of finding their separate personal entry in address book.
Is there any way I can control how the phone indexes the calling/smsing number into my contact list so I can see who's calling?

How come a name appears as if its in my contact list but the number isnt?

i gave my number to someone through facebook and they messaged me on my iphone and there name appeared as if they were already in my contact list, i tried saving the number through text but it wont allow me, is this due to the ios6 upgrade cause i never had that problem before. It use to have a bubble at the top of the screen that said "add contact" but its no longer there...help me..

The user that you want to reach must be registered to use messages on the device before you can reach them. Even if the user has an iPhone and you are sending the text to that phone number, the user still has to have the messages app activated on their device. The iPad cannot send and receive SMS messages so the messages all have to go through the messages app. It is not setup automatically.
In the unlikely event that she blocked you - have her check Settings>Messages>Blocked to see if you appear in there on her device.

How do I change the way that my company name appears when it is googled? Currently it only shows up as part of my company name followed by the website listed below and then the start of a description. FF Id Owner Name appears different in SPM report campared to Backend

Hi Team,
We have SPM 5.3 installed and we are using user based Firefighter concept.
I have run the SPM report ( log summery report , transaction usage report and detail log report ) today. There the FF id Owner name appearing is different with respect to what we maintained in ' Owners' tab in backend firefighter Dash board. Even in the Backend log report it is appearing different . Means at Backend and SPM ( GRC front end) both the places FF id owner is appearing different w.r.t what we maintained in Owner tab of Backend system.
Please suggest what can be the issue . And where I need to change the confirguration to make the report consistant with what we maintained in Owner tab of Backend system.

Have you got multiple owners defined in the backend system? Sometimes that causes inconsistencies.
I have noticed that there is a Bug in SAP Note 1168121 which means that the owner is missed off the email log reports in SPM up to SP08 and that might also be the issue.

I am experiencing Mavericks failing to copy subdirectories from usb sticks, I am backing up game saves from a console. Both sticks I use are fine, same permissions of course since the console wrote the files. Sometimes it copies, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to be related to the mounting process.

okay, this is actually a common problem. from your main screen select the blackberry key (next to track ball)->options->security->general settings->include address book->no->reset phone->problem should be fixed!

They are still in the phone because if someone (who has disappeared from my phone contacts calls me their name appears and if i search in text messages for contacts they are still there - but if i search in phone contacts they are not there, Help!

But once again, I do not want to lose my other texts, app progress, and photos. I could sync the photos but i would still lose the app progress and texts. I would only restore if it was the only option left, but the other space, as already stated, isnt the main concern. The main concern is those 'deleted' texts. If they go, then a good size chunk of the other space goes. I know you CAN delete texts for good. It worked fine before. All i want to know is why its not working for me now, and how to fix it.
I also know that when you delete texts on your iphone, they get marked for deletion, however they stay on your device (thats why they show up when you search for them.) then when you sync your device with itunes, the texts marked for deletion should disappear. When i synced they didnt disappear. Thats what i need an explanation/solution for. Why the texts marked for deletion didnt get fully deleted after the sync.

Go to Settings>iCloud>Contacts>On. Toggle the setting on and off and the + sign should come back.

Superfluous names appear after I type the first letter of a person's name in the address bar of my text message program. How do I delete them. They freqiuently are people I never text, but had a text encounter with i the past.

They will also be listed in 'Previous Recipients' in Mail. You should also delete them there.

Login name appears as full name - how to change to short name?

My user name for login on previous versions of OS X always appeared as the "short name". Since I installed a fresh copy of Snow Leopard, the user name in login boxes appears as my full name instead. How do I make the short name appear instead? (I'm a bit OCD, otherwise I'm sure it really doesn't matter...)

I still don't know whether it's because of the server connection, but I re-installed SL on another Mac on my network - and it did it again. Initially, when I do the install, the account I create shows as Admin. After a couple of reboots, though, it invariably becomes "Admin, Managed" - and the parental controls are turned on.
The fix is easy, as suggested above:
= create a second Admin account,
= log out of the first account,
= log in as the new Admin account,
= remove the Parental Controls checkmark from the first account,
= log out of the new account, and
= log back into the first account.
Irritating to have to do, but the Admin setting seems to stick after this process. You can delete the new account once you have fixed the settings on the real Admin account.
If your issue is a little different than this, you might want to go ahead and start a new thread. Since this one is marked answered, it might get little notice.

Middle Name appearing twice in CRM

Hi everyone,
I created a custom CRM form containing just a "Middle Name" Field. I noticed though in the admin under CRM > Customers that there is a "Middle Name" appearing under "Contact Details" and then a second "Middle Name" that appears further down the page under the "Middle Name" heading which is the custom CRM field.
I understand why the second one is there but I'm wondering how the first one got there. I looked in the web form editor and there is no Middle Name under the default fields.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
