No newsfeeds on Facebook?

After updating facebook I can't see any news feeds at all, the page is constantly trying to update.
I've tried updating the phones software but it says its got the latest version?

It's a little buggy - sometimes it works, and sometimes it isn't. I'm sure they will be coming out with a patch since it was only released yesterday.

My Facebook is Showing lot of NewsFeeds from strangers.

Since the latest F/B app upgrade (I have the 9300) my Facebook app is showing me not only my friends status updates, but all the posts on their Walls from their other friends (for example last Thursday my FB was almost entirely filled with Happy Birthday posts from people I don't know, to one of my friends. The only way I can see so far of avoiding this is to select "status updates only" but then I miss posted videos and pics etc....or to hide people who regularly get posted messages from their other friends (but that defeats the object - I want to see my friends....!!)
Is there any way around this? It isn't anything to do with my general FB settings as this doesn't happen on my PC or if I use FB from the browser.....

You can block text messages from the internet or from email if that is the source of these unwanted messages. Log in to your account, go to PLAN, Block Calls and Messages, then the Internet Spam blocking tab. At the bottom are boxes to block ALL internet or ALL email messages.

Facebook messages - Push or not lumia 800

i see a few people have had this problem but i can not seem to find an answer as they are talking about apps.
i am using an up to date Lumia 800.
I am not using the facebook app, instead using the intergration to try and get the full nokia experience.
Chat works fine - but only connects over wifi. can it be turned on over network? (data usage isnt an issue)
I an see updates, comments, photos, newsfeeds, everything.....
except when someone sends me a message (not in online chat)
So if i am not online over wifi, or they just send me a message not a chat. as far as i can tell i can not see this without either getting the app or going to the mobile site.
have i missed a push feture somewhere or is this a development oversight

This is a refurbished Torch I received about 2 weeks ago. The previous one and this one worked fine until a few days ago. FB notifications work fine - both to it and my email. Just the messages part is having issues. I did a test and sent myself a FB message from my PC. No notification on the Torch but I could see the message on the Torch if I opened the Messages section of FB (the error message didn't pop up). Oddly enough - older messages in my FB folder don't show up. Just the one I sent myself.

Facebook newsfeed not working

I have recently upgraded to a blackberry Z10. When opening facebook, the newsfeeds screen opens with the turning ring and after a while comes up with the message "there was a problem connecting to facebook. Please check the connection and try again. Tap to retry". Going into any of the other sections of the app actually works. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I also trid the solution to go into the mobile site and set the sort order. nothing works. Can anybody help?

How can you upload mp4 videos to Facebook for autoplay?

We would like videos exported from our app to play automatically inside newsfeeds on mobile. Instagram and Cinemagram seems to have this working.
We had some trouble finding documentation from Facebook, but would love to implement this feature in our iPhone app "PixtaCam."

What you mean is actually downloading a video from Youtube and then uploading it to Facebook. No this can't be done with the iPad.
As far as I know Youtube's terms and condictions don't allow you to download videos, and I know that Apple does not allow any apps that do so.

Adobe Bridge CS6 for mac: export modules, facebook export module gives an error every time i try to sign in

in the export module for facebook every time i click "sign in to facebook" it gives the following error: "An error occurred while request facebook connection"

The export module has been discontinued in Bridge CC and as long as it has been there the option for social media has worked only for FB in a few countries. Due to rights management (as we where told) there where restrictions for most other countries. But if it did work for you in the past you should try click on FB in export module or use the tiny menu icon in the export panel for preferences and try to set up a new connection.

My problem: can't get Google or Facebook to load on Firefox. Something odd. Other pages load, but not those. I go to open: and I get a blank page and tab that says Untitled. Google was my default page. please help me resolve

A few minutes earlier this morning, I couldn't get Firefox to load any pages. I was led to one page from this process and I disabled under Add-ons in Tools I disabled the only thing I found --a Google toolbox. and I went back. Tried again, now i get other pages, but not google or facebook. Help please.

Facebook Notifications and email notifications on ...

Is that possible Facebook Notifications and email notifications on sleeping screen nokia 808 like it had on N9..
On my 808 it shows only msgs and miscalls....any fix??

not possible unless the app supports that behaviour. but email notifications and on notification lights has been broken on Symbian for a while, and as Symbian is in maintenance mode, is unlikely to see a fix, possibly ever.

Facebook and twitter notifications

I'm using nokia asha 502, recently i haven't been getting notifications from apps like Facebook and twitter, they nolonger working. On the settings of the phone i have turned on Notifications...... Please help

Keep sure that the mobile data is on.
Turn on push notifications from inside the app.
Note: Twitter does'nt support the facitlity unless you have followers to send you private message.

Facebook and Viber Notifications

Ok so hey, i am just asking about my Nokia Lumia 520. So i have Facebook, Messenger and Viber. Now i receive Messenger notifications, but i dont receive Facebook and Viber messages. I went on my notifications+actions on my settings, and ironically i cannot see Facebook or Ciber but i can see Messenger. i really want to get notifications from Facebook and Viber. Can someone please help me???

The page will work regardless of your location. Also, see if the apps are allowed to run in the background under the Battery Saver app. Keep us posted.

Emails and facebook notifications ...

I've had my blackberry bold 9700 since the 11th June. Since then i've had troubles reciving emails and facebook notifications. Sometimes they come though but not for a good 15 mins - 1 hour and sometimes they don't even come through at all! does anyone know what i need to do? i tried a new hanset still didnt do it, rang o2 they dont know as all settings are right their end.. anyone? thanks

Facebook and skype notifications

I have a lumia 920 and can't get fb and skype notifications work.
The worked just after the installation of the apps, but then they stopped working.
The apps are fine, I just don't see toast nor tile notifications.
Any ideas? This isn't a borderline issue for a smartphone..

I'm not talking about FB chat. That is ok on my phone.
I'm referring to facebook notifications instead (comments, likes and so on):
Me tile has too much limited functionalities (for instance no groups notifications..), thus I installed FB Microsoft app.
In the app notifications are sometimes working. But most of the time I couldn't get them, even after a long time after their publishing.
It seems to be a facebook app issue in this case, but is it possible on a smartphone to lack social functionalities like this? I'm not talking about minor socials web sites, but Facebook.
The forum is plenty of topics describing exactly this issue, but no solutions yet.
Does someone have any news?

How can I use more than one Facebook ID in Photos? (Plus, Flickr upload issues!)

I'm having problems with the new Photos and ability to share images from the application. It seems I can only have my personal Facebook ID, and can't add a second ID (which is my business page, which I also like to post images to).
Any idea how to add a Facebook Page ID?
Also having major problems with Flickr. Seems inputting my user name (through System Preferences) does not match my actual user name in the Flickr app, so I can't upload images. UGH. (Why was this okay in iPhoto, but not now?) The only way to access Flickr is inputting your Yahoo ID, but if your Yahoo ID is different than your actual user name on Flickr, you're screwed.
Any ideas? I tried deleting the profile, but I still can't input my Flickr name.

So, after trying to upload an album four times, it seems it finally kicked in/made the connection on Flickr. MAGIC.
A second Facebook ID, however, remains a mystery.

How can I delete my old facebook account under a different name and password from settings?

my old facebaook was hacked. I created a new account. I cannot post pictures from my iPad 4 to new facebook because I am using a new facebook account with a new password. the system is still storing my old facebook username.

Assuming you are using the FaceBook app: Settings App > FaceBook > [your name] > Delete Account. Then sign in with your new account.

My iPod touch is stuck in landscape view. Even when held vertically if I open facebook or safari is rotates to landscape. Have tried turning on and off, same results. Any ideas to fix?

Try switching it back from landscape to vertical. Or, go to settings and see if you have any special setting turned on that enable only landscape view. Also, try hooking it up to your computer and charging it to see what happens.
