No notification about Mobile Recovery

If I am paying for TEC through Asurion why was I not informed about the Mobile Recovery app?  This seems like an excellent service, but I had to discover it was available to me by stumbling upon it while doing research for a paper. 
Does anyone know more about this app? Any known issues with using it?
Seems like a good idea to activate it if you are already paying for access to it.  The ability to remotely lock and wipe your phone is essential these days IMHO.

    Here we go again.
    Asurion released their Mobile Recovery app with Android 2.1. The software permitted users to find their phones from Asurion's web page or even file a claim against loss. However, when MotoRizon updated the DX to Froyo, the program failed to recognize the device. MotoRizon/Asurion left its mobile app users in the lurch for several weeks until Asurion finally made the Froyo DX "recognizable" to their software.
    We have the same situation now. The company contracted under Verizon to insure your phone sends out the same "device unrecognized" message when you try to open the app under GB.
    I haven't tried to call Verizon on this issue; I don't have 3 hours to waste on the phone. Last time I talked to them about my community forum account here, they couldn't figure out which department handles the web operations. I can only imagine the runaround buck pass I'll get about Asurion. 
    It would seem that Verizon bears some responsibility for this situation. Asurion insures Verizon's devices, and Verizon offers the software as a service. So wouldn't it make sence to communicate with Asurion ahead of the rollouts to make sure their devices will work under the new OS? And why does Asurion demand "recognition" from the device itself? Isn't the fact I have paid insurance on my phone enough? My device has to prove its provenance, too? **bleep**?
    Just a thought.
    I decided to buy into SeekDroid to lock/wipe/locate/recover my phone. It cost a little more, but they cover any phone, not just recognized devices.

    The passcode you need to enter is the passcode you set on your device. It is the passcode that you enter when you turn on your iPad or awaken it from sleep after and Auto lock.
    If you do not know or remember your password and did not store it somewhere then you will have to restore your device.

    Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
    You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
    In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
    Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

    I want to see script errors when script errors occur in pages (as a developer). In older versions of IE when you enable 'Display a notification about every script error' a yellow icon appeared at the bottom of IE and when you clicked it, you could see what

    In IE11 this no longer works. Is this a bug ?

  • Mobile Recovery

    I took out the TEP when i bought my S3's. I see that to lock your phone or locate it should it be lost, stolen, misplaced, etc. it can be located with the TEP app from Verizon. Verizon says it's a $1.00 mor per month per phone. Mobile Recovery says it's included. Who's right? Is there a free app that is as good or better? What makes Verizon better if anything?

    I never heard of a charge for that option from Verizon but I use Kaspersky that has the same feature included with the apps purchase.  There is a number of apps with this feature, some free some at a charge but I view this as a feature that needs constant updating to keep data and device secure so I am open to pay for the service.
    If Verizon has the option for a 1.00 a month that sounds far and would consider that option.

    I have a few questions about mobile forms:
    Can a form be integrated with a portal, which is build NOT on Adobe CQ\AEM technology?
    I've created a form and loaded it to the server repository via Form Manager. Now I can access it in my browser like this:

    And the question is: what is the right way to share forms to users on a production environment (without integration in a portal pages on so on, let it be just a link to a form which users have to fill in)?  I mean, should it be the same link, or it is only for developers need and to share forms to users some other way must be used?

    For integrating on custom portal, you would need to integrate with form submit proxy for handling of submission as mentioned @ http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/mobile-forms/mobile-forms-service-proxy.html.
    As far as url of form is concerned, it’s really up you. You can choose to hide the request parameters as couple of other customers are doing.   • Ques about mobile karaoke

    I have 2 questions to ask about mobile karaoke system:
    1. How to play the multiple channels of midi for combining into a monotone for the usage of karaoke?
    2. Synchronizing lyrics with the playing tone is another problem that i faced. Other than storing the time stamps for each word within the song, any other solutions to deal with it?

    I encounter problem while developing my mobile karaoke project. I had used "mmapi-1.0-fcs" to develop my project. When I used " mmapi-1.0-fcs " emulator , it can work well on it and can support the "com.sun.midi.lyrics " event. The problem is when I used the Wireless Tool Kit emulator version 2.1, it doesn't work and cannot support the " com.sun.midi.lyrics " event. I just want to enquiry why this problem encounter? May I know why " mmapi-1.0-fcs " emulator " support and Wireless tool Kit version 2,1 doesn't support? Anyone who can help me on this, kindly please inform me how to solve my problem on my project.   • Getting error notifications about payment every month

    I get repeatedly notifications about payment information and finally the payment succeeds without changing even the information. Anyway the system doesn't accept correct address information and suggests abbreviated forms of billing address. The problem doesn't seem to be independent about the credit card used because I have tried four different cards.
    Yesterday I got once again error notification about payment (Action requirement: ...payment is past due). I the night I got "Thank you for your order" and payment confirmation and today again notification about the payment error.
    I don't know how to correct the information to make this work.

    tero ylonen, John is correct as you need to contact Adobe Support to get this corrected however I checked & found that you or your bank might have laid a restriction in making the payment for this Adobe product.

    I keep getting notifications about my Startup Disk being full, I've gone through and deleted a bunch of files, and burned some big projects to disks and removed them from my laptop, but I still get notifications.   • Unity connection 8.5 notifications to mobile

    Hi ,
    We are using Unity 8.5 integrated to CUCM 8.6 and also with Exchange! We are using ITSP SIP Trunk .
    For VoiceMail, We would like to send notifications to mobile but for some reasons unable to do so. Well, here I am actually stuck even I was searching and exploring through the similar posts but seems I am not getting there.
    Checked that notification devices are enabled and other relevant parameters such as ALL Voice meessages, schedule etc.
    Checked the patterns and Checked that the VM ports can perform message notifications and have particular CSS that can dial mobile numbers.
    Checked the "Restriction table' and allowed "*" as in the first order also tried by keeping the mobile number as is (with prefixing 9 as an access code)
    I have tried above settings and i was analyzing through port status monitor and I can only see that it triggers the mobile number and then idle idle.
    I dont seem to understand where exactly it might be stucking to call out and why is it not ringing my mobile.

    Thanks alot, Yes! You are right, Voicemail DP didnt have the local route group configured. Now i can see it hits the gateway though but not ringing my mobile phone.
    I ran debug ccsip on the Voice gateway and here is the excerpt of voicemail port calling my number;
    To me it seems codec but i coudnt figure out where exactly. My SIP trunk dial-peer has the codec assigned though. Any ideas ??
