No notifications since updating to OS4?

Question

Ever since I've updated to OS4, my alerts won't work. I receive no notification of emails, texts, push notifications, no sounds in my apps, etc. And my phone no longer rings when I get a call either.
My music plays fine, but that's about it.
Help?

hello, what you might want to do which seems to help some issues and such. It to restore your phone back to factory settings and set up the phone as brand new.
After that you can-resync all your itunes stuff including the re-installation of all the apps. U can do this by connecting your phone to itunes, the button below the upgrade button will allow u to restore back to factory, at some point it will be asked a couple of restore options, select brand new.
keep in mind that your contacts will be lost unless u are in the habit of syncing them, plus email depending on how u have it set up will also be lost and so will camera roll pics.
Never the less this is your best option as this gives your phone the brand new feel, out of the box with ios4 on it.
If your phone was working properly before with 3.1.3, then it should work pretty good with os 4 on it, other than some minor bugs here and there that will probably be fixed next update
