No. of items in folder incorrect

Good morning!
I searched for this issue and couldn't find anything, so I thought that I would ask.
When looking at my folders on my desktop, I have noticed that some of the folders have an incorrect number of items under the folder name. The number is always too low.
Do I have a setting wrong somewhere?

Works here. All I can suggest is to click on the Desktop, CMD+J, and disable *show item info*. IMO, all it does is clutter up the screen. Alternatively, move the com.apple.desktop.plist file onto the Desktop, restart, and see if that fixes the problem. If not, create a new admin user account, log into it, and see it exhibits the problem. Report back.

Sales order cannot be rejected -problem log status item status is incorrect

Hi,
I need to reject this particular sales order, but when i try to reject it says to check the problem log which states that the item status is incorrect. It says subsequent documents exists for some lines even though no documenst are attached.
There were a delivery attached to this order earlier but that has been archived. I ran repors SDVBUK00 etc but nothin seem to sort this issue..
I just need to reject the whole sales order. does anyone know any reports or somethin to rectify this issue.

Could you please update with the process of Delivery Document Archieved?
I mean, had you reversed the delivery (T. Code: VL09) and then deleted the items from reversed Delivery Doc (T. Code: VL02N), before deleteing the Delivery Doc?
Was there any subsequent document for Delivery Doc.?

Does anybody know how to upload URL item into folder
programmatically either using sql command or PL/SQL.
Please help...because I need to upload about 10,000 of URL link
into a folder. Doing this one by one might not practical.

Exchange 2013 Recoverable Items\Versions folder stays empty

Hi All,
I need some clarifications on Recoverable Items Folder.
Versions: If either litigation hold or single item recovery is enabled and If a user modifies an item, a copy of the original item is placed in the Recoverable Items\Versions folder, by a process called copy-on-write page protection. This
folder isn’t visible to end users. (Visible via MFCMAPI though)
I don’t seem to be practically achieve this with Single Item Recovery Enabled.
The Versions folder stays empty irrespective of edits(saves) I make on emails located in Inbox, Deleted Items or elsewhere.
I would really appreciate some light here on how to get this going.
NOTE:- Deletions and Purges folder are working just fine.

Sorry for not being clearer earlier. Below are the current settings for the user.
I have already enabled SingleItemRecovery for the user and checking the 'versions' folder using Get-MailboxFolderStatistics cmdlet and MFCMAPI tool.
What I want is to get the versions folder count\size to increase, how can I get that tested.
Please guide me through the steps to make edits on the email items to make this happen.

Problem with next N items in folder

Hi,
When I set restriction on number of items in folder (set Number Of Rows field in folder style -> Edit Region) for example 5. I see 5 items in folder. But I cant see next set of item because there isnt link next 5. Is it bug?
Im using portal version 3.0.9 on Sun Solaris.

wat i understand is u r trying to loop at a variable window .but tht is not suggestable.
write a loop in program lines. read the values in to different variables and the try printing them as text elements that will solve the problem.
or else in other way use a template and that can also solve the problem.

"Link That Displays Item In Folder Area " option for a Text Item not there in 9.0.2

In the previous version of Portal when you created a content area item of type text. there were four display options
1) Item Displayed Directly In Folder Area
2) Link That Displays Item In Folder Area (i.e on a page for a folder)
3) Link That Displays Item In Full Browser Window
4) Link That Displays Item In New Browser Window.
In release2 of protal the option number 2) is removed.
We were using option 2 as we added different portlets and style sheets on content area page because of which we were able to get the desired page.
Now in the new release this option is not there.
Any pointers to the issue.
or Is there a default style and page design which is used while opening the details of the text and whether that default can be modified or not?

URL item and folder

I Have a folder with a URL Item. The URL is a link to a form developed by Oracle Forms.
I have set my folder as following:
Delete Form (URL Link)
Description: This forms is used to delete projects from the database.
Now, when user clicks on the delete form link, the form should show up in the same folder or portlet. Although i have set the DISPLAY options to LINK THAT DISPLAY ITEM IN FOLDER AREA, the form lunches in the full browser window.
How can i force the URL to lunch in the same folder or portlet.???

Share Point Custom List - Submit item to folder

hello,
I have create a custom list on my SharePoint 2013 site and customized the infopath form. I have disabled the submit/Save buttons on the ribbon and set the Form Submit settings to rules and actions. I have then added "Save" buttons on the form that
have actions to submit to the list's Main data connection.
There are three departments that will use this list and users in a department should only be able to see items within their department. So I have created folders for these three departments and defined permissions at the folder level. Now how can I submit
the infopath form such that the form automatically gets submitted to the respective folder? I am unable to add a submit data connection to a customized list form and the Main data connection is disabled for edit.
I am however able to achieve this in a document library. But was wondering if there are ways to achieve this with a list since we are almost completed with the development of this functionality using list items.

I even tried writing a ItemAdding even reciever that would cause the item to be saved in the respective folder instead of the root. But I am not able to figure out the best way to do this.

Querying items in folder doesn't work in SharePoint 2013 (Cloud)

I have 2 folders in a SharePoint List. Every folder contains 2555 items. There is only one column "Title" . I have indexed the "Title" column. The title field contains same values as "Hello" for each and every record.
I am querying the first folder and it throws following exception that
"An unhandled exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ServerException' occurred in Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Runtime.dll
Additional information: The attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold enforced by the administrator."
But If I add a new item with "Title"="World" in both the folders, and query the first folder, putting the condition that get count where "Title" = "World", it works fine and the count returned is "1".
Can anybody please tell me, why I get the exception and what is the fix for that.

How to find out how many items within folder (and sub folders)?

Hi all,
This may be a silly question - but if I have a folder (containing sub folders etc) is there a way to calculate how many file items are within this folder?
I cant seem to do it using the info panel. And the standard view tells you how many file items are within the folder you are looking at, but not in the sub and sub sub folders etc.

Find date/time when item added item in folder?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if there was any Automator Action out there that allows you filter finder items by date "added" to a folder.
Please don't confuse with the date of the actual item. I am talking about if there is anyway to be able to detect and find when an item was added into a folder.

I'm not aware of an Automator action, but starting in OS X 10.7 Lion a Spotlight metadata attribute named kMDItemDateAdded was added that contains the ISO date/time an item was added. If the item has been moved recently enough to have the attribute (and assuming that Spotlight is indexing the containing folder), there are a couple of utilities you could use.
The mdfind shell utility won't be quite like filtering, but by limiting the find search to a particular folder and using the appropriate query, you can get a list of items - for example, the following will list items added to the Downloads folder in the last week:
do shell script "mdfind -onlyin ~/Downloads 'kMDItemDateAdded >= $time.today(-7)' "
The mdls shell utility can be used if you are just wanting to get the value of a particular metadata attribute from an item, for example:

New Item Indicator Does Not Include Items from Folder with ILS

We created a folder with Item Level Security and publishd items
on that folder. If I drill into that folder, I can see that the
Newly-added Items Icon is displayed. Once I click into that
Newly-added Items icon, it will bring me to a view of all newly-
added items within the content area. However, newly-added items
published on the folder with ILS are not included on the list.

Did you choose to preserve the hierachy?

Using PowerShell 1.0 copy-item GroupPolicy Folder(C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy)

Hello everybody,
This is my first time posting in this forum and i have encounted an issue i hope you can help i'm trying to create a powershell 1.0 script as this is for Windows XP to copy default policy back to their original folder then do a gpupdate on the copmuter so
that the Local policy are returned to their default but i'm having access denied as this is user account and needed a way to make it run as an administrator but without success as i'm new powershell.
