the password value stored in OID is just a hashed value (by default) and it's virtually impossible to retrieve the original value of password, as entered by the user.
There are option in OID for storing the encrypted value (vs the hash value). Perhaps that in this case there are means to do the job.
In my opinion it's a bad choice (from governance perspective) to allow developers retrieving a user password value from a directory.

I have a Director MX 2004 based training course that is
periodically getting the following error:
property not found: #text
This training program was developed in Director 6.5 and
updated last year to MX 2004. The training program had been running
without error for six years prior to the update. I didn't update
the script that is causing the error until after receiving the
error reports.
After getting the error report I was able to reproduce the
error while running in MX 2004 and the error said:
Script error: Property not found
set the text of member "IN" = tempIN & sp &
pretempIN
#text
I checked the debugger and the local variables were all valid
and nothing seem out of place. The field cast member "IN" exists
and the member's sprite is static in the score (i.e., it's not
being dynamically created).
Since I couldn't figure out what the problem was I updated
the field update scripts to the new syntax:
member("INText", "Internal").text = tempIN & sp &
pretempIN
I also changed the name of the cast member thinking that the
name "IN" may be causing the problem. There are no other cast
members of the same name. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same
error. There are other field member sprites that are getting
updated successfully before this line of code but for some reason
this particular field member sprite is causing the error, even
after changing the name of the member. I've since moved my text
formatting script to the frame script in the score where the field
members are located and tried preloading the member but neither of
those changes helped.
This error is very sporadic and I've only been able to
reproduce it few times on my local machine, and not since I updated
the script syntax and the field name, but my client is still
encountering the error. I checked that my client's program file
installation is up-to-date and they're running the newest
executable.
Any ideas of what might be causing the problem? I'm
stumped...
Markquote:
You seem to be using #field member and #text member
interchangably. They're
not the same type of member and they have different
properties.
Actually, I'm not. It's a field member. The member's name
"INText" probably led you to believe it's a text member. I changed
the member's name from "IN" to "INText" as I thought perhaps the
"IN" may be causing the problem. The member has always been a field
member. I'm not formatting the field or anything like that, I'm
only replacing the field contents. I don't use Director much
anymore, other than this project, but having used both 7.5 and MX,
I assumed that I could access the text property of a field using
the member("myField", "castName").text syntax as per the docs.
As for the concatenation, the variables are all strings so it
shouldn't really matter. The real problem is that the field
member's text property can't be found, not what I'm putting into
it. And the fact that it only happens occasionally is what I can't
figure out. Since I encountered the error myself inside of Director
and was able to run the debugger I was able to see all of the
variables in the debugger and check for the field member and its
properties in the Message window and everything looked okay.
quote:
To double check the member coflickt issue (director always
operates on the first occurance of a member name
It's definitely the only member using the name "INText",
plus, I checked all cast libs and it's a unique name.
When I originally converted the movie I do recall that I had
another cast member named "IN", the original name of the field
member, when I converted the movie. I can't remember the type of
member it was but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a field. Perhaps the
movie still has some kind of reference to that not field member and
may point to it occasionally, even though I've since renamed the
original field cast member to "INText".

[User home directory property not found.]
Our Roaming Profile policy does not work but exits with the following error message in the log file:
RoamingProfile Policy] "...[POLICYHANDLERS.RoamingProfile.ErrorInEnforcement] .... [User home directory property not found.] ...."
We are running ZCM 10.3.1
We have the exact same environment at another customer where everything is just working fine. We compared the user properties and could not find any differences. eDirectory is fine, too
Does anybody have the same problems or a solution to it?
Thanks,
SebastianYes, home directory is defined in eDir.
In Novell Client for Windows XP there is no "Allow Roaming User Profile Paths to non-Windows servers" attribute, it is in Client for Win 7 only.
In roaming policy, if I type the path to home directory manualy, it works fine.
In our original environment I have ZfD 4 on Netware, roaming profiles save to home directories normally, without errors. -
ADF Customization (Fusion Apps) - Property not found exception
All
Trying to customize a Fusion Apps application(essentially ADF) where in a popup has to be inserted into an existing page and displayed on UI on a Submit button click.
I have bound the popup to a backing bean property 'Sp1' so that the popup can be invoked programmatically from an action listener method. Note: Show popup behavior is not an option due to some of the business requirements.
When the page renders, it throws the exception 'Sp1' property not found in the backing bean class. Although the Submit button is able invoke the action listener method without an issue.
Not sure why the property is not found to the page when it is able to invoke other methods in the class. Any pointers?
Here are the steps followed:
1. Opened JDev in Fusion Apps Dev role > Created a ViewController project > Created a java bean A, manually added a RichPopup property Sp1, added an action listener method 'submitForApproval'
2. Created an Adf jar and deployed > Placed the jar under WEB-INF/lib directory under the EAR/WAR on the server and redeployed so that the jar becomes available to the Fusion App
3. Created another app which is a FA Customization App and a project under it
4. Now re-opened JDev in Fusion Apps Customization role > and opened up the FA Customization App
5. Customized the Fusion Apps page to associate the 'submitForApproval' bean action listener method to the existing Submit button on the page
6. Customized the page to insert a popup with Id='Sp1', marked the property contentDelivery=lazyUncached
7. Customized the corresponding taskflow to add the managed bean entry for the new bean
When I apply the customization MAR on the APP and run the page on the server, I see 'property Sp1 not found in the bean class' exception on the page.
However, when I click on Submit button anyway I see that the contents of the method are executed. So, I believe the page is definitely finding the class but not this property.
Verified that Sp1 property is of type RichPopup and has accessors in the bean.
Any pointers would be much useful.
Thanks
NiranjanSince we donot use FusionApps , it will be hard to comment on this . Please post this on the internal ADF Frontend Forum @ myforums.oracle.com

Disabling button gives property not found exception
I am trying to disable a button in jsp using disabled property of the button. But I am getting property not found exception.
Here is the code.
In JSP
<h:commandButton value="Previous"
disabled="#{b_mainTest.previousDisabled}"/>In my backing bean
public Boolean isPreviousDisabled(){
if (queIdHash.get(testSession.getCurQueId()) == 1)
return true;
else
return false;
} I hope it is some silly mistake! What happens when you use boolean instead of Boolean as return type?

Script error property not found
I have a script that get a list of choosen check boxes, it
was working fine but now when i press the button that calls the
script i get a error saying "script error property not found" then
it lists the line i have put a * next to and says #hilite
This is the top part of that script and to my knowlegde i
have not chnaged any of it and it worked before but now it does
not, i also use a script almost identical to this but use it for
radiobuttons instead and the line is the same in that and that
script works, can anybody tell me what as gone wrong?I suspect you have a cast member that uses one of the three
names in the
list and it is not a check box. It's probably before the
actual checkbox
member in the cast so it's finding it first.

Hi
i have a text cast member on the screen called "cycle text".
I have placed it on the stage. As the user carries out various
things, the text in the cast member is updated. I am looking for a
way to determine the height of this sprite on stage as the text
changes.
I have tried sprite(25).height, and this always returns the
height the sprite sprite was when it was added.
I have tried member("cycle text").lineCount, but get a
"property not found" error.
I'm sure i am missing something obvious, but can not see it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
PatchThanks for the clarification of how lineCount works.
Unfortunately line.count did not suit this purpose as it does not
react to wrapped lines.
However your anser did enable me to find out that what I was
after was in fact
member("cycle text).height
Thanks for the help

Hi,
My application was working fine some time back. I am not sure what has changed.I am receiving following error :
A message received by adapter "FILE" on receive location "FILE Edi_Receive_Location_EANDIS" with URI "C:\AMR46783\OUT\*.edi" is suspended.
Error details: There was a failure executing the receive pipeline: "Umix.Van.Pipeline.Custom_Receive_BackupEdi_Pipeline, Umix.Van.PipelineModule, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7e83b13ccba9e75d" Source: "EdiDecoder" Receive Port: "FILE_Custom_Receive_Port" URI: "C:\AMR46783\OUT\*.edi" Reason: Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found in the list. Verify that the schema is deployed properly.
Any help would be appreciated. When using custom or 3ed party Adapter you might receive this message "Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found
in the list" in the event log”
Usually this error caused by when deleting default application (BizTalk Application 1) that used to store message context

You can solve this problem by simply reinstall the adapter or selecting repair adapter option. Or GACing and deploying required property files
manually.

Hi,
We are facing issue in BizTalk 2010 837 Institutional claim process. The Error is “Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found in the list. Verify that the schema is deployed properly”.
We have used Custom Pipeline component to update the promoted property like MessageType. When we drop the XML File in Receive Location it generates the XML file through Pipeline but promoted property MessageType is not updated in Receive Location and throw
the error as mentioned.
We have the schema which is not duplicate as well as different version.
Could you please help on this issue.
Thanks in advance.Praveen,
There are two issues here.
“Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found in the list. Verify that the schema is deployed properly” issue is normally due to the deployment issues. This more often occurs when you have same schema with multiple
version and this issue is due to the sequence/order in which these two schemas are deployed. If you run the following SQL query in your BizTalk management db replacing it with your target namespace of the schema deployed
SELECT *
FROM bt_XMLShare
WHERE target_namespace like N'http://YourTaggetNameSpace'
You shall see two version of the same schema listed and both of them should have Activate flag set to 1. If any of the schemas is set to 0, then you will have the above mentioned issues. This is due to the way the different versions of the schemas are deployed.
You can undeply both the version, deploy them together or deploy the older version first and the later version later.
And for another issue of custom property not updating the MessageType property, debug the pipeline component code. This issue has no direct impact to the above issue. If you you’re your Message Type to be updated and if it’s not getting changed, then debug
the code and check why its not been updated.

Property not found (member) on a sprite
Hey, I have the following script on a sprite:
property pMyMemberCount, pMyMember, MySpriteNum
on beginSprite me
MySpriteNum = me.spriteNum
pMyMemberCount = 1
end
end
on exitframe me
pMyMemberCount = (pMyMemberCount mod 2) + 1
pMyMember = "GravPush"&pMyMemberCount
MySpriteNum.member = member(pMyMember)
end
Which is meant to change the member of a sprite between 2 images in the cast which I've named "GravPush1" and "GravPush2".
Whenever I go to run the movie I get an error:
Script Error: Property not found
MySpriteNum.member = member(pMyMember)
#member
Does anyone know how do I fix this? ThanksI think you want that last line to be:
sprite(MySpriteNum).member = member(pMyMember) -

... 34 moreHi
Are you using wli process control?
That uses wsdl and could cause the issue.
I also saw couple of internal bugs CR264315 and CR288904 on the same issue on 9.2.
Since this is a wli issue could you post in the wli newsgroup to get more answers http://forums.bea.com/forum.jspa?forumID=2047 ?
Also you can open a BEA support case at http://support.bea.com and an wli support engineer would help you. Please refer to the Cr numbers above in your support case.
Thanks

SQL Error 130, not found in ERROR.SQL file.
Dear All,
While connecting my application with Oracle Release 9.2.0.8.0 I am having the following error message would any one help in this regard please?
SQL Error 130, not found in ERROR.SQL file
Thanks
GQHow is this connection being made?
Is it Oracle Forms, SQL*Plus, Java, .NET, JDBC etc?
The error message doesn't look like a standard ORA-XXXXX oracle error so I would suggest the message relates to the application trying to make the connection. -
TestStand 4.2 Error String not found in language resource files
I've installed TestStand 4.2 on two Windows XP machines. On one machine it worked fine first time. On the other machine I receive the following message in the login box, and also in the templates pane: 'String not found in language resource files." I have tried uninstalling and re-installing TestStand twice but still get this error. This error prevents me being able to login as an administrator so I am unable to use TestStand 4.2. I understand that these language resource files are provided by the installer but for some reason it seems that the machine with the error cannot locate these.
The only difference between the two XP machines that I can find is the location of user profiles. I note that on Vista compatible TestStand versions that TestStand user settings are stored to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components on XP machines. On the XP machine with the error all user profiles are stored under C:\profiles, rather than C:\Documents and Settings. This is the standard profile used by our company so I am unable to change this. The TestStand installer does recognise this and installs TestStand user settings to C:\profliles\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\. Does anyone know whether the location of the user profiles is important, or whether there is another cause for this error?
Regards,
David
Solved!
Go to Solution.Hi Scott,
I've held off on the changes suggested by John for now. You are correct in that the knowledge base article referenced by John does not apply since the engine does initialise.
I've attached two screen shots. The first one is the standard login box which displays the "String Not found in language resource files" message in place of the usual "administrator" user name. If I overwrite the "String Not found in language resource files" user name with "administrator" and click OK to log in then I get an "Invalid User Name" error dialogue box. Therefore I am unable to log into TestStand.
The second screen shot shows the TestStand sequence editor with the String Not found in language resource files visible in the templates pane.
Regards,
David
