No one is able to browse and buy Classical Music Works in iTunes 11 Store
Since the release of iTunes 11 no one is able to buy a specific work in Classical Music in iTunes Store. For example: in the following album https://itunes.apple.com/es/album/paganini-spohr-violin-concertos/id184747944 which one is the violin concerto from Paganini or Sphor? The problem which is new to this release of iTunes 11 Store is due the lack of composer column making iTunes Store completely useless.
By the way, if you search for the name of a composer who also are a musician the only albums which appears now listed at the store is the one in which the musician perform but not the ones which includes works performed by other artists. For example: if you search for Jorge Grundman you will see only one album listed but not "God' Sketches" performed by Brodsky Quartet (https://itunes.apple.com/es/album/gods-sketches/id512579127) which is an album completely written by me. Of course, I'm not the only one, every composer is suffering the same issue
I have written to Apple Feedback and Apple Customer Support to report this issue in order to be solved as soon as possible. Please, bump this thread to call the attention of Apple iTunes Store team.

Apple Support does not have any solution for this issue and recognize the problem. I have send a feedback also to Apple. But what it is absolutely true is that the people behind the iTunes team does not match with the classical music.
So if you wish to buy piano trios in classical music from several composers at the same time and in the same disc you need to know that Apple kidnapped Beethoven!: you never see his name toogether with his works.
Is it culture? Is it a bug? Is it intentional?

Back swipe and back button not working in iTunes store
I am running a 3 year old Mac mini with a Mac bluetooth mouse. I have OS 10.10.2 installed. With the latest version of iTunes 12.1.0.50 I stated having the following problem. I go into iTunes store and see the catalogue page for either movies or songs, I click on either a song or movie that I'm interested in and I get the detail page for that entry. I then either single finger back swipe on the mouse or use the back button and I return to the catalogue page, but it is blank. I have to click on the "iTunes store" button in order to get the catalogue page refreshed. I also don't seem to be able to back swipe in iPhoto to move from one picture to another, but I can swipe in Aperture. I should also note that I'm running Windows 8 under Parallels 10.1.3
How do I fix this?Fixed. Tried a lot different things but the ones that seems to have worked is going in Preferences>Advanced and hitting the Reset cache button. Though I'm not sure it is necessary it never hurts to do a restart.

I redeemed a gift card of $15 in my Itunes Store. I purchased one book in IBooks of $6.99 now the balance in my iTunes store is $ 7.10. How Do I use this balance to buy another book or music from my Itunes Store It is not using my balance? Whenver I try to make a purchase it is trying to charge my Visa Credit card. My Credit card is no more active. I want to remove my Visa credit card and use Itines gift card fro purchase in Itunes store.

I thought So too but then I went to Itunes Library and try and buy a single song from an album for $1.29. Now my Itunes Gift card balance is $ 7.10 as I mentioned earlier. it still did not let me buy and kept trying billing my Visa card.
Should I restart my PC and Itunes and retry. What do you suggest?

When I go my account in ITunes and want to change my credit in CLick and Buy I have to download ITunes again.

What to do?Nothing you can do. Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to log into the account to update them.

ThanksYou can't. This has never been possible on an ATV 2 as you can't purchase music on it. You can use home-sharing or airplay to stream local music or you can stream music via iCloud on ATV with iTunes Match subscription.

This has been covered here literally dozens of times, but once again: the content owners do not allow cross-border sales from any of the legal download stores. You must therefore have legal residence in the country of the iTunes Store you wish to use. So in order to buy from another country's iTunes Store, you must (as proof of residence) have either:
a) a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a billing address also in that country, or
b) a mailing address for your residence in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
This, again, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice. -

You can move your iTunes library.. Apple have explicit instructions to do it. If the library is moved to the TC and accessed over wireless, the efficiency of the whole system will drop dramatically..
A file you download goes.. Modem---TC--Laptop--Back to TC--Store on disk. Double looping the wireless slows it dramatically..

This is asked several times a day.. obviously people are struggling with their latest SSD being too small.
The TC is not suitable for network file server.. but many people having no choice press it into service as such.
It cannot be partitioned. It was and is and ever shall be a backup device for Time Machine.
Major issues.
1. No backup.. no way Time Machine can backup a network drive. No place to backup to.. So all your files will be at risk. And you will need to buy a third party like CCC to do backup.
2. The TC cannot be partitioned and mixing TM backups and data is not great.
3. The drive is slow to spin up and quick to spin down.. there is no controls.
4. iPhoto in particular can easily corrupt its entire library with wireless networking causing a disconnection to one photo. Even if you do this;;; do not move your photo library... you have been warned!!
5. iTunes will constantly lose connection to the library. The disk is too slow to respond.. itunes on the computer will constantly spit out errors. Even in the midst of streaming the TC can spin down the disk due to caching.
6. Do not use any live files on the TC no matter what else you do.. if you edit files in whatever program the file must be on the local hard disk.
7. The only suitable location for most libraries is a computer. You can plug in an external hard disk.

No. The only reason to click on Redeem is to redeem an iTunes gift card onto your account. As you say that you have a credit card on your account then you don't need another payment method, you can use that to pay for the songs.
Under the Quick Links heading there should also be a 'Wish List' or 'My Wish List' heading, click on that, and you should then be able to buy the songs that are on your wish list by clicking on their price buttons (not the downward pointing arrow next to the price). You will have to buy each song individually. -

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

This is not a decision made by Apple.
It is made by the copyright holding music or television companies and is part of the contract with the recording artist or program producer. They make the decision as to what territories are distributed to and what territories are left out. -
Windows 7 64 itunes 10.5.2 64 - I receive the following error message when opening iTunes - please sign in again itunes match has encountered an error. Please choose sign out and then sign in from the itunes store menu and try again.
When I try to sign out iTunes freezes and I need to shut down windows entirely to get it to open again.
Has anybody been able to resolve this issue?After many annoying sign-in-out-iTunes-match-activation problems I found an easy solution for me. When the iTunes Cloud symbol is broken (and I should sign in again) I just deactivate my notebooks (Windows 7) Wifi (with Fn+F5 for my Thinkpad).Then I call up the Itunes store and iTunes tells my that there is no connection to the internet (most probaply this step is not necessesary). After manual re-activation of my Wifi iTunes seems to re-establish the connection and the Cloud symbol signalizes that iTunes match does work, again.
