No one knows what happened to my z3

I used to live in IReland and i bought a new z3, later I traveled to Qatar where my z3 suddenly stopped working after using it in the the pool to check who missed called me and did not even submerge it , later at the same night phone stopped working, I closed it took the sd and sim out hoping that it will dry, it didnt it has been 5 days, took it to sony service center willing to do anything to fix my phone, they refused saying its not from the region and they are not allowed to fix it, local workshops told me it is not water damaged, Now i have a phone where i can hear the touch screen working while slidding the audion still working, wifi still working but no brightness can not see anything, im really upset, and pissed for this very poor service they refused to fix it even though im willing to fix it and asked me to go back to ireland to fix it , haaa really disappointed and didnt expect this poor service.

just to eliminate it as a possibility, try a software repair first via pc companion even though it may be an unlikely fix - after that get in touch with who you need to speak to in Ireland and find out how much it will cost you for them to look at it - alternatively, weigh up an out of guarantee repair via the service centres in Qatar - it's understandably frustrating that the guarantees aren't worldwide, but if you're prepared to pay for expedited international shipping the prejudice to you may not be much bigger than that, as all repairs are undertaken behind closed doors now......
