No option to down load yosemite in app store

I have a stalled download of Mavericks that has no resume button in App store - it was started back in July but as I have poor Wifi access in the workroom, I brought the computer in to get decent access, at which point the download continued.  The router then dropped the connection and I restated all and the following screen greeted me when I tried to re-start the download
I then tried Yosemite and there is no download option in App store. If I click Get, nothing at all happens. The button goes grey and thats it.
Any help would be welcome
Thanks
Howard

Is your system Firewall disabled? Do you use any other 3rd party security app (antivirus, firewall, internet security app, banking app)?
Is it the same thing happend when you are trying to download any other app?
Try to create new, temporary administrator account on your mac to check if the same problem happens:
Isolating an issue by using another user account - Apple Support
Mac OS X: How to troubleshoot a software issue - Apple Support
Is this issue also appearing in safe mode: OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support
Steps which you might try to take to resolve this problem on your user account:
1. Open App Store app and sign out of the app store. Quit App Store, re-open again and try to download it again. Sign in with your AppleID when prompted.
2. If issue still persist, quit App Store and move to trash (do not empty trash yet) all files from this folders:
         /Library/Application Support/App Store
         /Library/Updates
         ~//Library/Application Support/App Store
         ~/Library/Caches
         ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.appstore
         ~/Library/Cookies
         ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost
         ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Re-open App Store and try it again.
As always, no harm to have a valid Time Machine Backup (or any soft of backup) before doing above steps: Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support

  • I just want to know what Apple computer to get to play Civilization V down loaded from the App store.

I just want to know what Apple computer to get to play Civilization V down loaded from the App store.
The game Civ5 processes a turn in single core mode. It says “please wait” while it processes a turn. If the intel i7 CPU is “fourth generation” it is twice as fast for civ5 turn processing. It does not matter if you have more memory or a better graphics chip. So, I can get a smaller cheeper Apple computer as long as it is fourth generation. I tested three new iMacs, two new MacPros and two mac minis.
    See:
    http://apolyton.net/showthread.php/193302-Civ-5-Processor-performance-analyzis-a t-Gamespot
I have looked at that darned “please wait” message for years. Now it can be 60 seconds on a new MacPro6,1 or late 2012 Mac mini and 30 seconds on a new iMac. Even the 21.5 iMac 3.1 GHz has 3.9 GHz turbo boost for single core and it is supposed to be fourth generation.
Some of that does not seem to true for the new 21.5 inch iMac I just tested (Fusion drive). Mac Mini 54 seconds 21.5 iMac 49 seconds.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones.

  • HT5622 Why im having bad tym down loading in ny app store?

Please help cause i cannot down load anymore in my app. Store why? In settings i cannot open app. Store?

Safe mode: Never used "safe mode" on a Mac or any other Unix based system, I'll look on how and try, then report results.
Another User: No... frankly, I have only one i use and one more i created for such questions as someone suggested that as diagnostic step to some other random problem in the distant past. Dont have a clue on it's password, but i can do something and try that too.
ExFat .... yes. I have my iTunes library on an external hard drive. it's only formatted in MS-DOS (FAT32) so i can use it in more places than just my Mac, if I ever feel the need to. Otherwise I would have likely formatted with something Mac likes better to eat.
So, in thought, I figured I can live without my Music, TV and Movies being in Spotlight as I use iTunes to access it anyway, no need for two databases of the same data. I've just placed the drive in the Privacy list in the Spotlight settings.... as of right now, the message reading "6/25/14 9:13:07.041 AM mdworker[64588]: (Warning) Import: Bad path:", has stopped.
Kinda seems at this point the message above as an issue may have been resolved with that Spotlight privacy setting change however, I am noticing in my logs, even BEFORE the settings change, THESES messages had been hanging out for a bit:
    6/30/14 7:51:39.261 PM iTunes[27164]: Entered:_AMMuxedDeviceDisconnected, mux-device:1876
    6/30/14 7:51:39.262 PM iTunes[27164]: Entered:__thr_AMMuxedDeviceDisconnected, mux-device:1876
6/30/14 7:51:39.262 PM iTunes[27164]: tid:2465f - Mux ID not found in mapping dictionary
    6/30/14 7:51:39.262 PM iTunes[27164]: tid:2465f - Can't handle disconnect with invalid ecid
The last occurrence was about 2 minutes BEFORE the change that stopped the mdworker message.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Select
              /var/log ▹ appstore.log
from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again.
Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of it useless for solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Sorry to say it, but I think you can see from Bob's response that there's no way to solve this rapidly.
Did you take an image of your Mountain Lion install before upgrading to Yosemite? Roll back to that. If you're not in the habit of taking a snapshot of your system before performing operating system upgrades - get in that habit. If you are dependent on anything at all on hour computer, having a reliable backup method in place is essential. If you don't have a Time Capsule, or some other way to run Time Machine onto a disk that's not in your computer, go set that up yesterday.
If you can't just remove Yosemite and roll back to Mountain Lion for whatever reason, you can partition your drive so that you can install both Yosemite and Mountain Lion on the same drive, and then boot into Mountain Lion when you need to work in CS5. Or you can take your Mountain Lion disc (I assume you have one, no?) and then use it to create a virtual machine in something like VirtualBox to run Mountain Lion from inside Yosemite.

  • TS1702 I down loaded the Facebook app.. But it is not there but it says it is installed?

I down loaded the Facebook app but it is not there but it says it as been installed?

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, then can you find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right) ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. You could also do Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will re-arrange your apps and might make it easier to find
