No os found,restarting laptop os starts

using hp pavilion dv9601au laptop, when i start the laptop, no os found message comes, when i restart os starts

Enter BIOS setup by tapping the F10 key immediately after powering on the laptop.Use Diagnostics to test your hdd.
You might also try unplugging the hdd and reseating it to be sure it is plugged in securely.Should be a simple task of removing the screws that hold the plate on the bottom over the hdd.Pull up on the ribbon /cable attached to hdd to remove it.

According to the message you have posted I suspect this could be because of the recent changes made if any
Please perform the below shown steps to resolve the issue:
Step 01. Turn OFF the PC
Step 02. Power ON the PC and keep tapping F8 Key
Step 03. Select "Last known good configuration" from the Advance Boot Option list
Note: Wait till you get to the Windows Desktop
Step 04. Please remove unwanted startup items and uninstall unwanted applications
Step 05. Please reboot/restart the PC the normal way

Hold the shift key at boot time, then run through this list, did you install anything recently or perform a update of some third party software? Uninstall it.

Prepare Your Mac for Sale
Boot from the OS X Installer Disc One that came with the computer. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select the startup volume from the left side list then click on the Erase tab. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) then click on the Options button. Select the one pass Zero Data option and click on the OK button. Then click on the Erase button.
Note: You can skip the Zero Data option if you are not concerned about removing sensitive personal data from the hard drive. If you choose to skip this part of the process then it is possible for others to recover data from the hard drive. The Zero Data procedure will prevent others from getting access to your personal information.
This process will take 30 minutes to several hours depending upon the size of the hard drive. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Now complete the OS X installation. At the completion of the installation do not restart the computer. Instead just shut it off. The next user will be presented with the Setup Assistant when they turn on the computer just as it would if new out of the box.

Hi, I have the iPhone 4, 32GB, version 4.3.5 (8L1) and for some reason when I connect it to the laptop, it starts synchronising but never goes beyond step 1. It goes on syncing forever, without actually doing anything. I have tried everything, wiped the phone numerous times, deleted all files from the laptop but still no resolution. As a result, the phone does not really synchronise.
This started somewhere in May 2011 when I upgraded what proved to be a problematic s/w version and the phone has not recovered since.
Now I cannot update the iPhone s/w any longer.
Any clue?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I have OS X 10.3.9 on my Mac Mini. Soon after connecting through a "Linksys" router to the internet, and connecting a "Mighty Mouse", I have been having an issue with starting up. Every time my Mini sits for a few hours after being turned off, when I start it back up, I get a black screen that reads "You must restart you computer now" soon after the desktop is shown. I go through this process a few times until it doesn't do it. I can use the computer for as long as I like, but once I shut down...and restart, the problem starts again. Is there anything I can do?

I can think of a couple of reasons for this behavior.
You inadvertently turned off the sharing for the files.
The link that the user is clicking on is incomplete; perhaps it got broken across lines in an email message. Are you sending Anonymous Links or Personalized Invitations? If the former, are you certain that you copied the entire link?
Some things to try.
Have the user send the link back to you so that you can test it. Does it work for you?
If you look at your Sent Files list, is the name in the Sent To column struck through (e.g., John Smith)? That would indicate that it has been unshared.
If you could get back to me with answers, perhaps we can get to the bottom of this.

I find Firefox won't load youtube vids (black screen; altering url to https, can view) . Tried restarting laptop and un/re-installing Flash to no avail, why is this happening?

Youtube works OK for me on Chrome, Opera, Flock and IE8 but not Firefox. I have tried reloading / updating Flash etc but to no avail.
Usually it will start to play a video and then within a fraction of a second the control bar will disappear and the black screen covers everything and sound and vision are terminated.
The hpps dodge does not work either.

The power is connected so no trouble there...
