No Pageload as soon as applying update from FF18.0.2 to FF19.0 and the solution in website won't work
i used FF18.0.2 without any problem till update, it stops loading pages
i can use all my browsers but not firefox
i tried all the options in that help like disabling firewall, changing to IPV6 and that DNS something
none of them worked!
and in FF safe mode, it's the same Server not found error

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Updated from v28.0 to 29.0 and the Roboform toolbar disappeared!
I just updated from v28.0 to 29.0 and the Roboform toolbar disappeared. Actually, it reappears sometimes at the very bottom of the screen. Any idea how to get it back to the top where it belongs? I checked the add-ons screen and it is enabled and apparently compatable with FF v.29.0.

Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

Keith - Corruption - Happened about 1 year ago. I thought it was fixed. At first didn't know what the problem was. I have updated to 3.6
Problem - opening program really slow, Then it would crash, Then I had problems opening the Pictures folder in Explorer.
Found a program that let me look at the photo files im Explorer. There were several extremely large files that even explorer would let me open.
In desperation,, I deleted all those photo files.
Problem fixed....so it seemed, even though I didn't know what was causing the corrupt photo files.
After 4 months of no use, I opened LR to create sticks for family memebers that are to be part of a will, legacy and I don't have a lot of time. Last time it took me 2 weeks to get things right,,,,,and I don't have that much time. And my brain is't what it used to be.
The things I have that can help me are:
The original Download of LR 3.3
A lap top where I can place and reinstall my LR program.
All my photo files are on 2 external drives.

I updated from windows xp to windows 7 and can not get into my itunes account. I get the notice that I am only allowed 5 devices and this isn't a new device just an updated one. How do I get to my itunes?
Take a look at Apple's document for authorizations -> iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization.
You can deauthorize all computers from iTunes. All you have to do is click iTunes Store, click your account name in the upper right corner of iTunes, then deauthorize all. -
If I update from 10.6.8 to Mavericks and I have a time machine backup, can I do a full restore back to 10.6.8 and resume as if I had never updated if there is a problem? Probably an answer I should know but I don't. Thanks in advance! (instruction suggestions welcomed)
Upgrading the OS is a system wide thing. So all users will receive the upgrade.
It should not delete files and such. However, if you have for example files made with Pages '09. Then the new Pages that comes with Mavericks will make a copy of those files so you can continue to edit them. But those new files can not be opened in Pages '09. BUT again, some people perfer Pages '09 and they use that still. Mavericks will just hide Pages '09, it's still usable in Mavericks just hidden.
To be safe, make a back up of your system before doing any major upgrade.

I am unable to download updates directly to iPad 2 , now trying to reinstall one from scratch but download keeps stopping and the restarting. Can you offer any advice, this happening when trying to download to laptop in itunes as well. Have tried to download on different broadband lines without success. Is this an apple problem due to high demand or something else?
Everything has worked well until about a month ago, up to date iOS 5 and itunes installed. Tried resetting numerous times, turned off all apps still no joy. Ipad was great but now feeling buying one was mistake. Also recent music purchase was useless and tunes would not play correctly.Since this is happening on the iPad and the computer, it might be worth a try to reboot your router - unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Quit iTunes on the PC, reboot it and the iPad as well
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons -

If your Logic 9 was an upgrade from Logic 8 it may be asking you for your original Logic 8 Full serial first and then your Logic 9 Upgrade serial...
Otherwise, it's best to call Apple directly and get them to help you... -

In the last few days, it seems that my computer has all of a sudden caught a virus.
As others have pointed out, this isn't malware. That should not be your first (or even fifty-first) thought when your Mac starts misbehaving. For more on this topic, see my Mac Malware Guide.
I know the last ditch effort (after cleaning and maintenance of disc verification and permissions and repairs, is to reboot from the system disc.
You mention "cleaning and maintenance." Have you been running utilities claiming to do those things? If so, you may be the victim of an overly-zealous cleaning job, which has removed important files and damaged your system.
If I'm understanding correctly, you're unable to open any applications at all... is that right? Do you have any backups? If you don't have backups, you're in a sticky situation, as it will be difficult to make backups in your current state, but you shouldn't try any kind of repairs without them. (Actually, you shouldn't do anything with your computer without backups, but this is especially important when something is going badly wrong.)
If you have backups, reboot from your Snow Leopard install disc. From there, first, repair the hard drive with Disk Utility. Once that is done, assuming repairs were successful, reinstall the system. You can simply reinstall it on top of your current system, and it will replace any damaged or lost system files with new copies. (You'll also need to update the system via Software Update after reinstalling.)
If you don't have backups, or if Disk Utility can't repair damage, or if the problem continues even after a reinstall, post back with those details. -

How save is my Mac, for having a kernel Panic if I want to update from a mac 10.4.2 to the latest update, I have it ignore few times the "Software Update" dialog box... the workstation work perfectly as it is now... so I don't know if I head on and update, I might the end up having problems after the updates... could any one advise me on this matter, please.

Personally, I had issue like several other users with the USB drivers in 10.4.7 causing problems with a USB PCI card. Not a huge issue as I've been using 10.4.6 USB drivers under 10.4.7 for about 2 months with no more problems.

You can't have content in iCloud without having it on your phone, you will need to look at deleting items from your device that you don't need. Movies and TV shows from iTunes are possibly a good start because they tend to be large and can be redownloaded at a later date.

Is it possible to update from Tiger to Snow Leopard without buying the Mac Box Set? My sister already has iLife 09 so I could borrow it and simply buy Snow Leopard. Is that possible or would it still violate the licensing agreement?
