No Password Entered

I keep getting a "No Password Entered for E-mail account" message when I try to send and receive mail. The password is entered and it is the correct password. I have removed the password and reentered it a number of time but all to to avail. What can I do now?

I keep getting the same "No password" error on my iPhone 4. I use to get this every once in awhile on my 3gs, but I seem to be getting this error at least once a day on my iPhone 4. I go to settings and my password is in there... I erase it and re-enter my password for my pop acount and for the STMP sending account again. Then mail works find for while (maybe a day), then it starts with the "No password" message again; then I have to re-enter my password again.
This is VERY annoying and makes email on the iPhone just about useless!!!!

Function to validate APEX password entered after login within an app.

Hi Folks.
I have a requirement that, one or two functions in my app require a password to be entered.
What I'd like to do is provide the user a password field where they enter their APEX password and I can then call a function to validate the password entered against the user's APEX password.
I know, if they have logged in then they have already entered their password! But this is to cater for the 'unattended' PC scenario where a malicious user if trying to impersonate a restricted user.
I'd like a simple way of incorporating APEX password validation from within the application on an ad-hoc basis for security sensitive tasks/actions.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be most grateful.

It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there.

Password entered is not secure

I've tried to reset my password via the link I got in mail and any password with combination of (special) characters and numbers is refused with the following message:
"The password you entered is not secure. Please click the Password rules link for guidance on creating a password"
I also tried to create a new Jabber account and there the problem is the same. Any password entered is refused...
Tried IE and FF but same problem...
On the website: https://www.ciscojabbervideo.com/home it is still indicated 'Beta'. Does this means this website/application is not maintained?

Says "Password entered does not match the credential chosen" - but it does!

Hi all
I hesitate to post this question, because it seems so stupid, but I'm really stumped.
I downloaded the latest ReaderRights credential 0004517_Exp20080430.pfx to the correct /sapmnt/N4S/global/AdobeDocumentServices/TrustManagerService/trust/credentials directory and attempted to apply it to the Visual Administrator service "Document Services Configuration".
"The password entered does not match the credential chosen. Please enter the password for the chosen credential".
Stopped/started J2EE server, made sure it was typed correctly, always the same. I can only imagine that the credential is not designed to be applied a second time, which is a bit a problem for a preview system.
Any ideas appreciated.

No, no solution yet. I've waited until the next short-term credential (end of April) but that doesn't work either. (insert very sad emoticon)
If you're not using a preview version, have you raised an OSS and could you let me what they say? I may have a name at SAP to ask, but wanted to try absolutely every else I could think of first.

Trying to help my son set up his ipod touch to connect to the network and the password I entered is not accepted.
1. Which password is required? I entered the password I use for logging into my router
2. The home network is recognized, when selected it requires a password to be entered, but I am just not sure what password it is looking for to connect.
I have not been able to find any information on this subject

You need to enter the wireless encryption password... not the administrative password for the router.

I went to print out my certificate last weekend and was unable to log on. I tried to reset my password but got a message
"The email address and password entered are not in our records. Please check for accuracy and try again. If you are not a registered user, please create an account. If you think there is an issue with your account, please contact Customer Care at 888-BESTBUY (888-237-8289).
At first I thought it was a glitch over the weekend so I waited. I still cannot log onto my account. I just made this account so I can get some help.
Does anyone know of a solution where I won't have to call the hotline?
BTW if it helps a moderator, the email I used to create this forum account is the same as my BB reward email

I found the answer.
Apple has turned on an app-specific password for iPhoto and other Apple apps. It's located in the Apple ID management section under Passwords and Security.
As soon as I entered that new generated password in iPhoto I was able to send a pic with my iCloud.com email address.
Now I know where to go. Thanks for your help.

Help me, I'm baffled. I keep getting password entered incorrectly message pop on when I try to upgrade apps on my iphone or ipad. How to set password entered by user in the custom self registration app?

I am trying to create a customized self registration page on the portal logon page using Webdynpro JAVA application. Now the problem I am facing is that I am not able to identify how to set the initial password for the user in the portal that is entered by the user while registering through the application.
I am using the object as:
IUserFactory userFact = UMFactory.getUserFactory();
IUserMaint userMaint = userFact.newUser(user);
I am able to set different parameters such as First Name,Last Name, User Id, Email Id, etc but not the password.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

I have the following problem:
I configured my Airport Express Base Station to use WAP2 with an appropriate password and to act as a pure Etherenet-WLAN bridge without NAT.
Unless I use any kind of encryption like WEP, WAP or WAP2, everything works smoothly: I get IP addresses from our DHCP server in the LAN, can configure the base station etc.
But if I switch on any kind of encryption, no connectivity any more. Although I am successfully connected to the base station, I do not receive an IP address. I can see the base station in the admin tool. It asks me to enter the password to configure the base station but then there pops up an error: Could nor read configuration of the base station.
I then always have to reset the base station and reconfigure it, to get access to it.
This is a brand new Airport Express base station and it is working perfectly but with no encryption at all.
What could I do?

After plugging off the power it was working.
