No photo button i itunes

Every time they upgrade itunes something is missing. I can't  find photo button in itunes. I am so frustrated about this.Stop messing around with itunes.Sick an tired to lelearn everthing from the begining

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you want to sync photos to your iPad then connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and the Photos tab should show on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen - if it doesn't show then is your iTunes screen wide enough to fit all of the tabs on (it's the last tab that shows, so it may not show if your screen isn't wide enough)

  • Can't find photo button on itunes

I want to add photos from my PC to my iphone but don't seem to be able to do it, looked online but don't seem to have/can't find a photos tab on itunes. Help!

YES! And I am wasting so much time trying to research it. I read that control s will make a sidebar menu reappear, that was nice and familiar. Except the device itself is no longer in the sidebar. I can't find a sync button, and I can't find a way to delete and add apps to the device that is connected. The new iTunes is all about selling us more stuff, but not taking care of us!

  • HT4236 I don't have a photos button on itunes. how do I get that to display?

No photos button shows up on the menu on itunes. How can I get that button to appear so I can manage my photo syncing?

You have to have a compatible app on your computer that can handle photos.

  • HT4236 No Photo Button in iTunes 11.0.1.12

I've upgraded to iTunes 11.0.1.12. With this version, the Photo button has disappeared from the library list. Under the Library list, (top left corner) I have Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, Apps. Where's the Photo choice?

Sounds like you don't have the menu or sidebar showing.
In iTunes at the top left of the screen is a small box with a down arrow.  Click it, and select "Show Menu Bar".
Now you should see the Menu.
Click on "View" and the click "Show sidebar"
Connect your iPad and you should see it in the sidebar after about 5 seconds.
    Click it.
Now you have your Sync sections and Photos is one of them

  • How do you delete a photo album off your phone that doesn't have the delete option available? and the photos section on iTunes has no photos synced?

so I have an iPhone 4s and a while back I put a photo album on my phone, but now I cannot delete it!! The delete option isn't there to do it on my device and I have tried unchecking the synced photos button on iTunes and that doesn't work, I just want them off my phone.

If unchecking and syncing in iTunes doesn’t work, you may have to use a third party tool like iPhone PC suite. With it, you can delete the photos and videos in Camera Roll, pictures in apps, pictures transferred from computer to iPhone and more. Use “Crtl + A” (for Windows) or “Command + A” (for Mac) to select all the pictures in an album and delete them, the album will disappear automatically.

  • Where is the photos button in the new version of iTunes?  Need to sync photos from teh computer but photos buton doesn't exit or is hidden.

Where is the photo button in the new version of iTunes?  I need to sync photos from the computer?

On iTunes 11 you can re-enable the sidebar via View > Show Sidebar. To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from you library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

  • Photo button is missing in itunes

The photo button is missing in itunes. How do I add it or is there another way to add pictures to my iPhone?

It is not missing but is on the far right hand side. So you may have to widen your window to see it.

  • I am wanting to import photos  from my imac to my ipad.  the help page directed me to open the photo button under the device listing on itunes.  There is not a photo button and I am connected to the computer.  It does show buttons for books, movies, etc.

I want to import photos from iphoto to my ipad.  The help button said to press the photo button under the device list.  There isn't a photo button shown.  Could it be hidden?

If you connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, on the right-hand side of iTunes (not on the left) there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders or albums/events to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

  • Where is the photos button

The help file for iTunes says that to transfer photos from computer to iPad click the photos button.
I doesn't say if this button is on the iPad or iTunes, and I cannot find it.

The photos tab is visible in the iTunes window on the computer. Connect the iPad to your computer with the cable and launch iTunes. Click on your iPad name on the left under the devices heading. Then click on the Photos tab in the window on the right. The tab will be at the top of the window ....you will see summary, info, apps, photos, movies .... Click on the Photos tab.
You can see what I am explaining here.

When you are in Album view in the Photos app - tap the edit button in the upper right corner - tap the X in the corner of the album to delete it.

  • Will photos synced by iTunes get pushed back by Photo Stream?

Having a hard time understanding how syncing with iTunes works with Photo Stream. I have Photo Stream shaing set up between a new iPadAir, iPhone 5. and iMac (10.8.5). As I read about Photo Stream Sharing ANY photo on the iPad or iPhone (taken or on Camera Roll) gets pushed to other mobil device and to the iMac; not just the photo taken with the iPhone or iPad, but also any photo stored on either device, gets pushed to others and to iMac.
So, what happens if sync some photos from the iMac's iPhoto library to one of the mobil devices, such as the iPad? I assume that synced photos go to the devices Camera Roll? or elsewhere? Will the iPad then push the synced photos to the iPhone? More important, will the iPad, push the photos back to the iMac. In effect doubling the size of everything.
A related Q., and way to prevent this would be if there is any way to set up Photo Stream so that it only pushes to other devices photo taken on the device, not any photo on its Camera Roll?
    Thanks for help,

Synced photos are not in the Camera Roll and they do not go to Photo Stream from an iOS device. There is more detail on Photo Stream at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486 and the following quote from there gives details.
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
iOS devices: New photos you take are automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
Macs: Any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later: Open a Windows Explorer window and under Favorites select iCloud Photos if you are using iCloud Control Panel 3.0 (or Photo Stream if you are using 2.0 to 2.1.2). Open My Photo Stream. Click the "Add photos" button. Select the photos to import to My Photo Stream, then click Open.

  • Photos Button missing?

I am trying to export photos from my iMac to my iPad
According to iTunes help this is how to start to set up the sychronization
When your device appears in the iTunes window (below Devices), select it and click the Photos button.
Select “Sync photos from” and choose an album or folder from the pop-up menu.
When I open mey device, i can't see any "Photos button"
    Am I missing something?

    NOT under devices.
In the main screen where you select your contacts to sync and where the Check for update button is.

  • There is no 'purchased' button in iTunes...

I purchased a movie in iTunes Store on my Mac, but when I locate the same movie in iTunes on my iPad, it is not marked as purchased and I don't want to pay for it twice, though I do want to watch it on my iPad, otherwise I would not have paid extra for the HD version
I found the guides here on apples site, where I sould use the 'purchased' button to access previous purchases. The only problem there is that I do not have a purchased button in iTunes on the iPad. I have it on my iPhone, but the playlist only displays purchases made on that unit, not on my account.
Is there really now way to get items purchased on my MBP onto my iPad without having to sync the device and transfer content in iTunes? Should it not be some sort of function, like in app store, where previously purchased/installed apps are "free" to install on you other devices?
    // Gus

    Thanx for clearing that up!
Wow, so the amazing cloud-storage solution, access all you stuff everywhere, doesn't really include Sweden, we don't get the full benefit of the store since we have a limited selection compared to other countries, now there are limitations to services we actually pay for and we cannot use the high-speed 4G wireless network due to technical issues.
This is bull! Someone should loose a nut for not solving these issues, especially since the new iPad runs about 600€ here... Should probably have gone for an mb-air instead
    Thank you anyway
