No pics on social sites (Facebook)

My wife and I both use Samsung Stratospheres. up until a month or so ago, photos/pictures posted on Facebook showed on our phones no problem. We each have a photo posted as our wallpaper. now we are lucky to see one or two during any sessions.
A couple things I considered may effect this but, I am not sure ...
      We are both logged in to one account. (Mine, she doesn't have one. Never did.)
      Both of us using a posted pic as Wallpaper? Dunno if this matters or not ....
      maybe some kind of memory cache needs dumping?
Maybe it is something in my Facebook settings .... I don't know. Hoping someone here can shed some light on this issue.

I'm on Facebook all day keeping in touch with family and friends, and sharing pictures so I know how important it is for it to be working properly.
Is viewing the pictres the only issue you are having with the Facebook app?
You mentioned you and your wife are both logged in to the same account on different devices. Have you tried logging off on both devices, uninstalling the Facebook app, and then reinstalling it? Try this and see if it helps. Make sure to log in on one device first to see if you are able to view the pictures.

The best anti-virus protection is your own common sense, and what you already bought and paid for with your Mac. Third party products such as "iAntiVirus" convey no additional benefit, and as you already determined are very capable of causing trouble.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "speed up", "clean up", "optimize", or "accelerate" your Mac. Without exception, they will do the opposite.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources. Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iTunes or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.

If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.

How to branding Social/Sites.aspx in SharePoint online

Hi everyone,
I need to branding: https://contoso-my.sharepoint.com/personal/dev01_contoso_onmicrosoft_com/Social/Sites.aspx.
I use SharePoint designer to open the site: https://contoso-my.sharepoint.com/personal/dev01_contoso_onmicrosoft_com then go to All Files/Social/Sites.aspx and founded this page is using custom.master (MasterPageFile="~masterurl/custom.master").
I have change it to my direct master page: MasterPageFile="~sitecollection/_catalogs/masterpage/seattle.master" and it works.
So I can create another master page based on seatle.master and add/edit my custom html,css. But I'm wondering that the Sites.aspx is different for each users. How can I make the same for every users?

Is it too big ? what can be the issue ?
What happens when you try to upload the album? Are there any error messages?
Which iPhoto version are you using?

I have Vista, recently switched from Internet Explorer to FireFox 3.6-. Since switching over, it can't download alot of versions/updates like Adobe Flash: It error messages: "INSTALLER WILL CONTINUE AFTER CONFLICTING MOZILLA FIREFFOX IS CLOSED".
Most pics blocked on sites/programs. I can't open some programs that Explorer opens. I would sure appreciate any help!!!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)

N8 "social application" Facebook uses large profil...

Just got my new N8, like it a lot - except I find the Social Application way too slow. I couldn't find any support contact address for the application (an old saying about shoemakers son having no shoes, as I know that OVI store is pretty strict about that :-), so I'll drop my bug (?) report here.
It seems to me that the Social Networking application does not use Facebook profile thumbnail pictures, but the original large-size pictures instead. I.e. it seems to fetch src of the pictures, not src_small (if using FQL. There are likewise calls for other FB APIs).
Understandably fetching the profile pics "as is" creates a ___lot___ more network traffic and fills the device memory. Or, if you're proxying all traffic through Nokia servers, and creating the thumbnails yourself, please don't do the latter. I have chosen my thumbnail to be what it is, and unfortunately the application now clearly shows non-square thumbnails (the original profile pic).
Just my five cents, and hope this makes some sense somewhere,

OK people I've finally done it after one month here it goes and hope it works for all of you out there
1-back up all of your data and remove your memory card if you have one.
2-use the code *#7370# to completely remove any data on your phone and wait till it restarts it might take a while and seems that it is not responding but wait it will eventually restarts.
3-install this file which I found on my phone by accident it is the only file that was able to install social back

4- after installation it might ask you for an update to the app and it will give you an error of installation if you try to install it but don't
5-redo the format and install the app again on your device if you can't use the app without the update and here you go the app is working again but sadly without the widget ( I am working on it right now wish me luck)
6- always remember to uninstall Social app before any new installation of the file

How do I remove the "Web" bar in F4 - I don't use any of the social sites

A black toolbar with "Web" on the LHS has appeared in my latest version of FF. It is near the top of the page. How do I get rid of it - it is annoying and I don't use any of the sites it has (like Facebook or Twitter etc)

That didn't come with Firefox4, something else installed that into Firefox.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Facebook has not been loading properly for me since Feb. 22/14. Can you please check what is wrong with Firefox. The web-site Facebook works fine on Safari.

I've had issues with Facebook not loading certain areas of the web-site correctly or fully since Feb. 22. When I first go onto Facebook I am on the home page "news feed". Thing is when I click on the tab at the bottom of the news feed that says "see more", nothing is happening. It refuses to open the feed up to older posts which friends or myself have posted. Only about 6 - 8 posts at the max show on that home feed. That's it.
My other issue, also in Facebook is when I go to access my "messages". First click on the tab "messages" brings up a white page. Then if I refresh the page to see if it will load, the messages page loads very weird. It shows the last message I may have replied to at the bottom of the screen, but over lapping on top of the list of previous messages to the left of the page. Plus the page appears extremely different than it should. Just like it's been re-formatted or whatever.
Since these 2 issues started on Saturday afternoon I've switched over to the Safari browser on my iMac. On that browser Facebook is performing properly, as it should be. It's not overlapping messages. Plus the home feed isn't refusing to extend for me so that I may view older stories or posts by friends. All appears fine while accessing Facebook on the Safari browser. Not so while on Firefox. I am running the most up to date version of Firefox. "27.0.1" Plus I have a habit to clear the browser's history daily & restarting the browser as well as my iMac. So I do not believe those are my problems. I feel there may be something you guys there at Firefox should look into on this.

N8 social network facebook sharing location

Hello all,
I am using a N8 with the social network app.
I tried yesterday first time to make a facebook post and to add my location with the post.
The post itself works and the name of the location does appear below the post with the little green OVI symbol.
But if you click on the location link, a window opens "OVI Maps Facebookapplication" with a complete European map is visible, it is not tagging and zooming to the place I was.

Can't login to sites - Facebook,etc.

I am running Mac OS x 10.5, latest version of Safari. Ever since I upgraded, Safari has issues in logging-in to web-sites. The problem started with Facebook - first time I could log onto Facebook but from the main page, I could not access any link. I closed and reopened Facebook and not it wont even take me beyond the login page. I have tried searching online forums, etc. to no avail - I reset safari, empty the cache, delete cookies and I can still get to the Facebook homepage but no further. I tried downloading Firefox 3 but the same problem continued.
Then as I surfed further, I realized there are many other websites where I could not login - even the discussions.apple.com login page would stall! So am typing this post out from my work laptop running WinXP! Please help.

Safari/Keychain fix:
Sounds like your Keychain preference files are corrupted. Locate this file:
com.apple.keychainaccess.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file from your Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot.
If that doesn't help...
1) Quit Safari
2) Open Keychain Access. (Applications/Utilities) Find the "Safari AutoFill" item. Delete it.
3) Relaunch Safari. Next time it asks for authorization, click "Always Allow".
If you still can't log onto Facebook, open the Keychain Access application.
Click Passwords on the left. Delete the Facebook url on the right. Now go to the Facebook site. Click Login. Type in your username and password and click Return. Click Yes when prompted to store your password.
Hopefully that will get you back into Facebook.
Follow that same procedure for any other site you have problems logging into.

Photoshop elements will not let me upload altered pics on to my facebook account.

This only happens with pics that I have made changes too on photoshop elements. It was working fine for months until this started happening three days ago. When I go to upload them onto my facebook. it blocks pics where they cant be upload it.

What happens when you try? Tell us little more. After you have finished enhancing the picture in Elements, where do you save it on your computer? What file type are you saving it in?
Have you, or anyone else, changed the account settings on Facebook?

Why can't I upload pics to existing FB Facebook albums?

I have many photo albums on Facebook. Using Organizer 10/Share I was able to upload several "batches" of pics to an existing album even though the dropdown list of existing albums only showed 2, one of them was the one I wanted so all was good. Then on about the fifth load the target FB album dissapeared from the list leaving only the FB Wall album. Seems like a bug to me; anyone else had this happen? Any known fix?

So, how many albums are listed now in your album dropdown?
You might need to check privacy settings for the corresponding album and the privacy settings for PSE app on FB.
For e.g. if you have allowed PSE to post to "Friends" only and your album is "Public", it won't be listed in the dropdown inside Organizer. The two settings have to be same as far as I have experienced.

Hi, I do not know this ANE, but Facebook started to remove support for graph API version 1. Maybe that is the problem you are suffering from? What version of the API is the ANE using, do you know?

Since the last upgrade two days ago, my scripting seems to be wonky on certain sites - Facebook, eBay, esp.

There are a lot of sites that just won't load since the last upgrade. I have tried to re-install Flash from both Adobe and RealPlayer, but get told that :
"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (apt) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."
I can't download Flash, I can't reach major sites... what's happening? I have cleared my cache, it's not that. It's something weird that the last upgrade of FF has done.

Do Facebook, eBay, etc., give you a specific error message? That may lead to more specific suggestions.
Adobe and Real should not be using apt:// URLs with Windows systems. That is very odd.
Could you check your connection setting in the Options dialog:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network mini-tab > "Settings" button
The default setting of "Use system proxy settings" should piggyback on the IE/Windows "LAN" settings but you also could try "No proxy" to see whether that works any better.
Are you able to download a full installer for Firefox? If so, try this Clean Reinstall procedure to bypass any confused/conflicting files in Firefox's program folder:
(1) Download a full installer for Firefox 32 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(2) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable). Do not uninstall Firefox.
(3) Rename the Mozilla Firefox program folder
