No picture on TV and no clock on STB, but signal is working?

I'm hoping someone can help me. I just got FiOs recently, and my roommate and I have two TVs set up. One TV is functioning fine with great service. The other one, I have tried to set up and Verizon tech support tells me that the box's signal is working, but the TV screen is completely black and I can't get the time to load on the set top box (QIP2500-3). All of the cables appear to be plugged in, screwed in, and tightened. Would there be any benefit to my switching the coax cable to a red/white/yellow cable input set, or is there another solution I'm not even thinking of?

If your STB is conencted to the TV via a Coax Cable then the TV will need to be tunned to channel 3 or 4.
If your TV has Composite Inputs (Red/White/Yellow) then you can also use them and switch the inputs on the TV.
Once you get the TV setup properly there is a setting in the STB Menus that will allow you to adjust what dispalys on the front of the STB.

You can call AppleCare and request a replacement set of the original DVD's that shipped with the computer for a nominal charge. You will need the serial number (look on the bottom of the stand) and a credit card. Click the AppleCare Contact Info link. Without knowing which iMac you have it's very difficult to say if a new SL disc would work or not.

Probably dead if you have tried to charge it.
You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try.

My current version of Chrome is having problems, too! It's so annoying. Anyone have any suggestions now? I basically can't view or download any PDFs because of this.
Does anyone else think this is a problem not only with Adobe? I would think Apple would have something to do with this? Wouldn't they get some idea from the developer versions that no browser can open PDFs while running Lion!? It may not be your computer telling you this, it is probably the company providing the shows to you over the Internet. If that is the case, no setting on your computer can change it because the media company is going by your network address (IP address), which is where your Internet modem (cable or DSL) connects to the outside Internet. If the location of your Internet connection appears to be outside the US (even if it is mistake), media companies that distribute shows under contracts with geographical restrictions may lock you out.
If you use a service like a VPN service, you may have the ability to use IP addresses from other countries so that you can appear to be connecting from there. But it takes some setting up.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you have a SATA controlled hard drive. Apparently, there's some kind of bug with SATA disks and Vista and Quicktime/itunes video...and possibly Nvidia is involved as well.
The workaround is sticking the video on a flash drive in order to play it (because that avoids the SATA controller and thus bypasses the issue). It's a crappy workaround, IMO...and I'm not spending another cent on iTunes videos until the issue is actually fixed.

Try closing all apps in Multitask Window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view

It sounds like you have a a password-protected PDF. The password was set by the person who encoded it.
