No picture with S-Video

I wanted to hookup a S-Video cable from my DVD player to the S-Video connection on the side panel (video-2 In) of my Toshiba 32HLC56 monitor. Nothing happens. If I hook up a standard RCA jack video cable to the side panel, it works. I see nothing in the manual that requires anything special. What do I seem to be missing here?

Open the QuickTime Control Panel / Advanced tab
under video switch to "Safe mode"
quit and relaunch QuickTime Player and try the file again.

Did you recently install the free VLC Player?
Remove the plug-in from HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins for VLC player.
Quit and relaunch your browser for these changes to take effect.

How can I move pictures, with their videos, from a different iPhoto Library to my new that I already have been using?

I replaced my hard drive in my MBP a few months ago and started using a iPhoto Library and have been ever since. Now that I've actually taken the time to get most of my files off my old hard drive, I want to import all my albums, hopefully in the same order, to my new iphoto library.
I know I can export pictures, and it works well, but when I do so for the videos in those folders, all I get is a second-long video of the original.
I don't want to have to opt-click everytime to select either of my libraries. I do want to combine them but have not figured out how. I ask if anybody has the answer. Thanks in advance.

The only way to merge Libraries is with the paid ($20) version of iPhoto Library Manager

File -> Export and set the Kind to Original

I have a main video to which I'm adding photos. What is the way I could show main video as Picture in Picture above the added photo and going back to main video in full screen as photo is no longer demonstrating?

Dynamic slideshow with pictures and Flash Video

I want to make a dynamic slideshow that shall include both
pictures and Flash Video. The user shall only have to put the files

yes you can, you can load '.SWF' files in or you can use the
vidplayer to play '.FLVs'

Imovie for iphone - no picture with video clips

After upgrading my imovie app to fix the export problem, some of the video clips in my movie show only a black screen instead of the video. The video clips were all taken with the iphone and all played well within imovie before I upgraded the app and still play fine outside of imovie.
I have tried deleting the project and starting over and I tried removing the app and resinstalling, but niether of these resolved the problem. Has anyone else encountered these problems?
Update - the problem seems to occur only if I try to shorten a video within imovie. Since I have begun editing the videos before importing to imovie the problem hasn't happened yet.

Thanks for the reply. The movie starts with a 3 second video followed by several pictures then another 3 second video followed by the video I shortened 11 seconds to 7 seconds within imovie. When one video goes black, they all seem to go black.
But to your second question, I checked the adjacent transitions and all were set to cross disolve 1 second. When I changed the transition on the back-side of the first video to none, the picture within the video came back.
So I changed all of the video transitions to none and they all came back. Of course after doing this I had to play around a little bit and oddly enough so far the picture has stayed even when I switch the transition back to cross disolve 1 second.
So at this point I haven't been able to re-create the problem but if it does happen again I'm happy that I now have a way to get the picture to come back.

We have a solution that allows you to do most of what you want, including bulding the form, having people fill it out either in Reader (as an XFA-PDF) or on the iPad (as an HTML form).
You design the form once, and it will by styled correctly on the appropriate platform.

I'm working on InDesign CS5.5. I am now working on an e-book, and I want to get into pictures, music and video, I use the interactive tools of InDesign and Iwant to know a few things so that everything will work.
1 What types of music files can be used?
2 What types of video files you can use?
3 pictures, I want to get possibility that user might access an image, enlarge, reduceand move it within the frame in which it sits.
4 Is that correct do for a music or video a group, contains the music and the activation buttons, and put it into a block of text like I do to images?

I think you might be confusing ePub with the Digital Publishing Suite. They are very different. ePub files can contain video and audio files, but

the manual way. add graphics of the filename, and save the pic. then reload the pic onto the ipod using iTunes/sync.

For Instagram you can try and uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that fixes it. But if not you can try and resetting all settings, Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

I want to play a video within a picture frame (kind of like picture in picture with perspective)

i'll try to describe what i'm trying to do.
I want to slowly zoom in on an empty desk. The desk does have a picture frame, with a child in a soccer uniform. As the camera zooms in, the child starts to move within the frame, as if the picture came alive.
I can do picture in picture, but I need have the smaller picture (with the child), look as if it is in the frame, which is being zoomed into.
Help...........
