No planning of Stock Transfer Orders

Hi,
I have business scenario in which we transfer the material from production plant to the sales Depot using Stock Transfer Order created manually.
We do not want include these Stock transfer orders in planning run.
could any one reply on this.
regards
VS

Hello AV,
In the material master of that material (for the production plant where you run the MRP), select the MRP-4 view and in that for the field MRP Dependent Requirements, select the indicator1(Materials for dependent requirements are not planned). This solution i am giving by considering that you are creating the Stock transfer order in Depots and running the MRP in production plant.
Please check and confirm.

  • Planning Strategies 10 and 40 with Stock Transfer Orders for consuming PIRs

    Hello,
I have the following situation in a Client:
    One Production Plant (1000)
There exist various Plants  to sell products.
The production Plan (PIRs) I create in Plant 1000 (MD61). Monthly buckets.
The planiing strategy I want to use is 40  or maybe 10 (both to Stock).
Consumption of the materials in plant 1000 is via:
    1. Stock transfer orders to other plants (with Shipping funcionality)   (about 80% of the shipping form plant 1000)
    2. Sales Ordes with shipping   (10%)
    3. Transfer postings from one plant to another (303 - 305 movement type) (10%)
How can I make sure that all these outgoing movements from plant 1000 do consume my forecast? Is this standard funcionality.
    Thanks for any reply,
    Aart

    Hello Mario,
Thanks for your answer. I looked at the note but Im not sure it does apply in our situation.
Let me explain our situation maybe more clearly:
I want to create a monthly Forecast (MD61) with PIRs for Production Plant 1000. (Planining strategy 10)
The stock created in plant 1000, on the basis of this forecast is consumed during the month by:
    1. Stock Transfer Orders (from plant 1000 to plant X) - (for 95%)
    2. Sales orders (directly) (5%)
The STOs should not be on top of the PIR but should be part of the PIR.
For your information, the stock which is moved from plant 1000 to plant X via STOs, is sold at plant X (not directly at plant 1000).
this stock sold monthly at plant X however, is considered withing the forecast!
I hope this clarifies  our situation a bit more.
    Thanks for any anwer,
    Bye

  • Sp.Procurement  key  40 stock transfer order.

    Hi Friends,
I am facing typical probelm in post go live stage of the project .
Scenario : 2 plants say 'A ' & 'B'  both are producing product 'x'. this product contains dependent componenets 'y' it is onle produced in plant A.
Hence sp.procurement key 40 (stock transfer order) is maintained in plant B for component y .
    MRP  runs monthly once.
Storage location stock excluded from MRP run
Pur req cretaed in in nplant B and planned order in palnt A.
Pur req converted in to  number Purchase orders (PO items) partialy.daily arround 20 Purchase orders are created,
Now th problem is while carring out MRP  run for next month system considers the open PO items while caluclating requiremnt of y
My requirement is that system should not consider open  PO , it should give gross requiremnt of Y depending upon PIR ;s of x.
Stratgey 11 is mainatined for x in both plants

    Hi
You have to run total planning & configure scope of planning.
accordingly run MRP not for single plant.
Further please follow the following link which is self explanatory.

In the above link it is clearly explained as to what procure ment types to be maintained.
    Pl. follow the same.
Also run MRP for scope of planning.

  • Stock Transfer Order and Routes

    Hi,
I would like have a good Delivery date in the Stock Transfer Order base on the Routes, actually the system takes the longer lead time between route and planned delivery date.
If I do a stock transport order, I assume that the supplying plant has stock, so why the system consider the planned delivery time in Materiel Master.
I juste want the system add the transit time base on the route in the delivery date.
    Thanks to help me.

  • Three way match inter company Stock transfer orders

    Hello All ,
For Inter company Stock transfer orders our client for is planning to copy the net value from the billing document to Invoice receipt and Good receipt. Having that said , the PO price will be different from good receipt and invoice receipt. What will it be having the effect on Three way match.
    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the input . I have one more quick question
At my client  PO condition Type  is  ZSTO and Billing Condition type is ZV01 , both value are maintained in table.
One process they want to check where ZSTO is not equal to ZV01 as per example below.
    1 .P O Price  based on ZSTO = 450
    2. Good Issue (based on material standard   xyz)
    3. Billing document  based on ZV01 = 350
    4.  Invoice receipt ?
    5.  Good receipt ?
Can you please let me know what would be the IR Price and GR price and if the IR and GR value is 350 will it effect 3 way match .
    Thanks in Advance

  • Stock Transfer order & PIR

I am using strategy 10 and sales order is consuming PIR but stock transfer order is not consuming PIR.
Do I need to maintain any settings in customization.
    thnks
    SD

    Dear ,
Why STO should consume PIR when you are using Stratgey 10 ?
However, PIR is still at planning level. STO is stock transfer after finishin the production.
The only way to consume PIR by stock transfer is maintain minimum stock levels in warehouse and do the gross requirments planning. However, the STO is not directly consumed.
Basically , it is nothing but your requirement  and depends on the stratgey you defined in MRP3.
Consuming the PIR, it is fully depends on strategy what you have used in material master of FERT.
If used 40, sale order will consume PIR.
For 10, when goods delivery PIR will erase.
    For 11, when goods receipt.
    For 20 , no PIR.
For Stock transport purpose we are not creating any PIR.
    Hope this is clear
    regards

  • Release order for a stock transfer order in Product view

    Hi Experts
My question is that i cann't see Release order for a stock transfer order in Product view which are available in MD04 in R/3.
I have checked all the settings for Strategy group 50-Planning without final assembly in R/3 and Requirement type in APO. In APO I have checked requirement type and category group and I can see that in category we have defined Stock Transport Requisition, Stock Transport order,  Sales Order, TLB:VMI sales order, Replenishment delivery and VMI delivery as category.
One more thing i am not even selecting any selection profile for Product view.
What i need to check, Kindly suggest.
    Regards
    G C

    Hi G.C
Check whether you have maintained correct integration model. Create integration model for transactional data. Select the sales order and PO/PR option in CFM1. The reason you need to send the sales order first when you are working with stock transfer order/stock transfer scheduling agreements you first have to send the sales order and then PO/PR. Activate the integrtion model.
First check in ECC for the Integration with Other mySAP.com Components==>Advanced Planning and Optimization==>Initial Data Transfer==>Change Transfer==>Change Transfer for Transaction Data==>Activate Online Transfer Using BTE==> here check (ND-APO, NDI options are have been checked)
Also check for the Maintenance of distribution definiton under APO -SPRO==>Integration with SAP Components==>Basic settings for data transfer==>Publication==>Maintain distribution definiton==>Select the publication type(External procurement, Delivery,Shipment) and assign to all the plants you are working with for STO.
Try the above steps and do let me know if it worked.

  • Make to order for stock transfer orders

    Hi all
I have set up "make to order" strategy (20)  in a production plant A.
When I create a sales order for an external customer, in production plant A, the system creates a requirement in a special stock for the sales order in MD04, which is exactly what I expect. In this way, a planned order is pegged to the sales order.
I would like to have the same mechanisn with a requirement from a stock transfer order.  In other words, this STO requirement would appear in a special stock in the MD04.
I know that it is possible if the STO is allocated to a sales orders in the distribution plant, but I want to avoid this strategy in the dsitribution plant.
Is there any way to do that ?
    Thank you for your reply
    Thierry

    Hi,
It's not possible in std SAP, as a demand from an STO is not a special segment requirement eg: say like a project segment or a sales order requirement.
    Hope it clarifies.

  • Stock transfer orders

    Hi Experts,
Can i know what is stock tranfer order?
how to create stock transfer oreders.

    Dear Raghavendra,
Whenever you need to transfer the materials from one plant to another plant belonging to one company or belonging to two company code stock transfer order is raised by the delivering company.
    STO:
Transfer of goods from one location to another location,it may be between plants within the same company code or in different company code's plants.
within the company code, bet plants, receiving plant will raise the STO in Supplying/issuing plant-ME21n,
Supplying plant will deliver the goods to receiving plants , then we need to pick n post the Goods Issue-VL02n, nw when we can observe that the STO qty will be added into receiving plant and reduced in Delievering plant.
To do this, we need do prior customizatin in SPRO-IMG,-material should be created in both plants( receiving & Supplying)
-maintaing the stock only in supplying plant
-create a dummy customer in supplying plant's sales area(if u have one sales area, create in tat comp code n sales area)
-Assign this customer number to receiving plant's details along with the sales area,
-Assign the STO doc type(UB) to Supplying plant, along with checking rule
-Assign the Del type (NL/NLCC) to Supplying n receiving plant.
You create a STO from MM route i.e., ME21N and then enter the details of the supplying, receiving plant and the materials.Once you complete the STO,then it goes for a delivery followed by an intercompany invoice.
Remember that the Material should be there in BOTH supplying and receving plant.
Internal Procurement (Stock Transfer With Delivery):
In a company, goods movements do not only occur in the form of goods receipts and goods issues. Depending on the organization of the company (for example, decentralized storage) and its sales policy, internal stock transfers might also be necessary.
The stock transfer with delivery is a plant to plant scenario. You are posting a goods issue in plant BP02 and a goods receipt in plant BP01.
This type of stock transfer can only be carried out from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant to unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant.
You post the placement into storage at the receiving plant in a second step. Only then is the event completed and the transferred quantity part of unrestricted-use stock.
    Functions:
    Creating a Planned Independent Requirement
Creating a stock transport order in plant BP01
Generating a delivery in plant BP02
Picking of the material and posting the goods issue in the delivering plant
Posting the goods receipt in the receiving plant
Note: The quantity posted from stock is first of all managed as stock in transit of the receiving plant. Only once the goods receipt has been posted is the quantity posted to the unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant. This enables the quantity "on the road" to be monitored.
The transfer posting is valuated at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant.
Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.
Internal Procurement (Stock Transfer without Delivery):
The cross-plant, internal procurement of materials can be carried out within one company code (intercompany) or by using several company codes (cross company). This process can be dealt with using standard functions such as material requirements planning, purchase requisition, stock transport order, transportation planning and the handling of internal deliveries.
The following functions are provided to support the Internal Stock Transfer without Delivery:
    Create Stock Transport Order
Post goods issue for stock transport order
Post goods receipt for stock transport order
Note: Quantity "on the road" can be monitored
Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order
    Internal Procurement (Cross-Company Stock Transfer):
You post a stock transfer from company code to company code the same way as you post a stock transfer from plant to plant, except that both plants belong to different company codes.
During the stock transfer, two accounting documents are created in addition to the material document:
-An accounting document for the removal from storage at the issuing company code
-An accounting document for the placement into storage at the receiving company code
The stock posting is offset against a company code clearing account.
To display the value of the cross-company-code stock in transit with a report, choose Environment à Stock à Stock in transit Cc.
The following functions are provided to support the cross company stock transfer:
    Create sales order to customer
    Run single-level MRP
    Creating a purchase order
    Creating delivery
    Picking and post goods issue
    Posting goods receipt
    Create inter-company billing document
    Invoice receipt
Create delivery, picking and post goods issue to customer
    Billing
Notes: The issuing plant enters a delivery for the stock transport order and a billing document. This is an inter-company billing document (billing type YBIV). Pricing takes place as normal.
When the goods arrive, the receiving plant posts a goods receipt for the purchase order. The unrestricted-use stock increases and an accounting document is created.
The invoice is checked with reference to the purchase order.
Stock transport order processing in receiving plant
Delivery processing in supplying plant Picking batch determination in delivery Goods issue processing in the supplying plant Billing processing in supplying plant
Goods receipt processing in receiving plant Invoice verification processing in receiving plant Purchase order monitor processing in receiving plant

  • What r the major differences bet Stock transfer order & STO

    hi friends,
can anyone explain me the major differences between
Stock Transfer Order and Stock Transport order,
    with some examples.
    regards
    ganesh

    hi,
When you do stock trasnfer with the Stock trasport order...then it has the following adavantages:
Advantages of the Stock Transport Order
The transfer of stock using a stock transport order has the following advantages over the transfer of stock without a stock transport order:
    ●     A goods receipt can be planned in the receiving plant.
    ●     You can enter a vendor (freight vendor) in the stock transport order.
    ●     Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.
    ●     The stock transfer order is part of MRP: Purchase requisitions that were created in MRP can be converted into stock transport orders.
    ●     The system can run an availability check for the stock transfer.
    Hope it helps..

  • Urgent Condition Tab Missing In  Stock Transfer Order

    Hi All ,
When I a m creating Stock Transfer Order from One Plant In one Company Code to  Another Plant in another Company code the Invoice and Conditions Tab Is Missing .
How to get the Conditions tab, Do I have to do any Customization ?
Please suggest me of how to go about .....
    Regards ,
    Sriram.

    Hi Srirama,
Yes, if you have only one Calculation schema then there is no meaning in assigning to different Porgs.
In that case please proceed with the following configuration.
This is done in customizing; IMG for MM > Purchasing>Conditions>Define Price Determination Process>Define Schema Determination>Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders
For the combination of the Schema POrg; doc.type( UB ) and Supplying plant
you must specify the price schema to be used.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Delivery Split in Stock transfer Order

    Hello gurus,
In Stock transfer order process, Delivery has been split. In purchase order we have two materials, while creating delivery in VL10B System is splitting the deliveries and creating two delivery no. instead of one delivery. I checked everything but i could not reach out the solution. can you tell me what could be reason for this delivery split in Stock Transfer Order Process.
    Regards
    Soumendu

SAP have provided a report ZLE_ANALYZE_DELIVERY_SPLIT in note 355404.
This report tells you exactly what is causing the split by highlighting the cause in red. It does not make any change to the database on your system (i.e. no changes are made on your system). I would recommend you implement this report.
Often, I have seen the delivery time being the cause of a delivery split. So check the values of LIKP-LFUHR for each delivery. But the above report would tell you exactly.

  • Routing in Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
We are having SAP 4.7 & we have activated Transportation Routing process.
Routing is copied in Sales order & Delivery. But the same is not copied in the stock transfer Order. We are doing following steps.
We are using Stock Transfer order to transfer the material from One storage location to another storage location. Supplying Plant & Receiving Plant are same in Stock transfer Order. We are entering Receiving STorage location & Shipping point in the STO.
Is this b'coz of Supplying plant & receing plant are same in the STO ? Or i need to active something els for this.
    Kindly revert back.
    Thanks in advance.
    Samir Bhatt

    Hi,
this is one of the problems caused by an organisation structure that is not quite matching the "real world".
In SAP each Plant should have a unique address and the storage locations are thought of as areas within that address.
If you have two sites that have different addresses, they should <u>ideally</u> be separate plants. You can then use all of the available functionality within SAP that you would expect.
If you want to set up a route that goes from one address to another than this is possible, but in your case you are actually saying that you want a route for s delivery from and too the same address, not really a real world scenario.
So if you really want to do this then each site should be a plant. I expect that it is too late to change your design but it is important for others reading this to understand the problems that are caused when Storage locations are used instead of Plants for physically separate addresses.
Sorry if this is not much help to you but it should help you to understand why you are having a problem.
