No possible entries exist for this field for Shipping Point

Hi gurus,
I require the Shipping Point to be automatically determined in the Sales Order. Except this is not happening, I then attempt to manually select a Shipping Point in the line item of the Sales Order and receive the following error (in green)
"No possible entries exist for this field"
The Material Master has the Loading Group assigned.
The Sales Order Type has the Shipping Condition assigned (so does the Customer)
The Plant is assigned to the Customers (no CMIR created)
The combination of the three are entered in the 'Shipping Points Determination" table in SPRO with a Proposed Shipping Point AND a Manual Shipping Point.
Except I can not choose either of them as a Shipping Point in a Sales Order.
Anyone have the knowledge to understand why I can not select a Shipping Point?

Shipping Point Determination
Shipping points are independent organizational units that are linked to a plant and represent the point of departure or receipt of materials.
Check if shipping point is defined and assigned to plant or not by going to:

The shipping point is determined based on the shipping conditions, which are either entered manually in the sales order or are copied from the customer master record (shipping screen 01=as soon as possible, 02=standard, 03=collective processing). The shipping point is also determined by the loading group (0001=crane, 0002=forklift, 0003=manual), which is copied from the material master record, and the delivering plant of the line item in the sales order.

How to select this field for the extractor?

Hi Gurus, I hope you are fine!
I need to extract the field     PRED_OPPT_GUID   form the Data source 0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H inside CRM system.
If I go inside CRM to:
Transaction SBIW -> Settings for BW Adapter -> Maintain DataSource and Enhance BW Adapter Metadata ->
tipe "0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H" and press change buttom -> Mapping TAB
there I can see the field I need "PRED_OPPT_GUID" but this is not selected at the "BW Selection" Column , I guess this is the cause why I am not receiving this field from the extractor, Am I right?
If yes, How can I select this field for the "BW Selection" Column? (the system does not allow me to click it directly)
if not, what is the proper procedure if I need to extract this field ? because this is the key field for the DSO

This is what i can see inside the ROOSFIELD table:
Filtered by data source = 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H
Comparison with another field:
BILL_TO_PARTY (working properly)    columns:        SELECTION = X              NOTEXREL= Y
PRED_OPPT_GUID (Not working)           columns:        SELECTION = (Empty)    NOTEXREL= Y
I think that if I try to change the Selection field to X it will cause inconsistencies with the SMOXRELP table am I right ?
I tried to change using the system and not directly into the tables, but thaere was an inconsitecie between these 2 tables.
Why is no able this field taking into account that this is the KEY FIELD inside the standard DSO? it has no sense to me.
What do you think?

could not find installation information for this machine for lion after trying to reinstall lion ona new MacBook pro that come with lion

I guess Lion Internet Recovery has still some issues, maybe it's just my internet connection at home, but yesterday and this morning I was trying to restore Lion at home and the remaining time was of 54+ hours, and it never get to be less than 50 when it crashed..
I shut my computer down and headed to my office and once here, the remaining time showed as 1 and a half hour.
I finally was able to restart my Macbook Pro.
Maybe my router (at home), or mi ISP was blocking Lion Recovery tool or something like that... weird...
My last choice was going to take it to the AppleCare, it's good I didn't have to...

AUFGR (Order Group)- Which table has values for this field

I am working on a report, which uses Key field- Order number AUFNR from table AUFK, and is similar to standard transaction KOK5 and S_ALR_87013019.
havent been able to find where we get values for the field AUFGR from,

Believe it or not, by reading a post in the FCP forum I found a use for this filter.
You can use +Field Selector+ to make corrections to single fields of a frame with this simple procedure:
- stack 2 copies of the same clip in the timeline,
- apply, for example, a different color correction setting (or different filters, or whatever) to each clip
- add the Field Selector filter to the top clip (make sure it leaves the other field transparent)
- don't forget to set the canvas to 100% zoom and to render the clips to check the final result
As a result in the sequence each field will have a different filter (or settings) applied.

Extractor 0EC_PCA_1: incorrect value for BALANCE field for USD currency

Hi Gurus/Experts,
We have a standard extractor in ECC side: 0EC_PCA_1 wherein USD currency (CURRTYPE/Currecny type = 30) is giving out a sum value for Accumulated Balance field of -300,962.66 for Plant A. I checked on its corresponding EUR value (CURRTYPE/Currency type = 10) it is giving out a sum value of +4,060,629.43 as shown below.

Logically thinking, if we sum up all of the accumulated balance and result is +4,060,629.43 in Euro, it should appear also as +USD after summing up the accumulated balance in the corresponding currency. But given this scenario, we are getting a negative result for USD value. I already checked the exractor on how is the Accumulated balance is being populated on ECC side but unfortunately, did not find any luck. I was not able to validate the records of Accumulated balance with the source table GLPTC as I don't have that much experience on the ABAP side.
As for my questions:
1. How is the currency conversion works on this extractor for Accumulated Balance field?
2. How is the value for Accumulated Balance derived?
Please take note also that isue rises at ECC side so I did not include the data flow on BW side.

Issue with Safety Upper limit for CALDAY Field for Generic Data Source

I have given Upper limit as 1 for Calday field of one of the Generic Data Sources.
I have got a doubt here.If today's load got failed and I will rerun the load next day.So Will that new run captures all 2 days records.

Hi,
A one-day upper safety interval determines that an extraction run today, only fetches records up to yesterday (if the pointer has the day before yesterday date, the extraction comprises from the day before yesterday to yesterday). This is meant to avoid missing records that were about to be persisted in the database when the delta extraction is running but whose date was determined in memory before the delta started.
If pointer has today date value and you want to load data from today and yesterday, you should use a lower safety interval. Take into account that this could reload data previously extracted. Therefore, only InfoProviders with overwritting features (DataStores or InfoObject master data) should be used as targets of this extractions.

The elementary search help must define where the data of the hit list should be read from (selection method), how the exchange of values between the screen template and selection method is implemented (interface of the search help) and how the online input help should be defined (online behavior of the search help).
2) Collective search helps combine several elementary search helps. A collective search help thus can offer several alternative search paths.
3)An elementary search help defines the standard flow of an input help.
4) A collective search help combines several elementary search helps. The user can thus choose one of several alternative search paths with a collective search help.
5)A collective search help comprises several elementary search helps. It combines all the search paths that are meaningful for a field.
6)Both elementary search helps and other search helps can be included in a collective search help. If other collective search helps are contained in a collective search help, they are expanded to the level of the elementary search helps when the input help is called.
CREATION:
Go to SE11 Tcode
select search help
give the 'z' search help name and create
select the selection method ur table name eg : 'mara'
dialog module 'display value immediately'.
add the field whatever u want and lpos = 1 and spos = 1 and check import and export parameter.
where left position when displaying and spos = search position
and then save and activate ..

No adapter registered for this channel FOR JDBC COMM CHANNEL

Hi Friends,
We installed JDBC driver(for Oracle) and it works correctly from Visual Administrator.
We have created comm channel 'jdbc_receiver'.
However, when we check in "Adapter Monitoring", it is not active (Green color) and short text says 'No adapter registered for this channel'. Where should we look further to resolve the issue ? How do we test this comm channel from XI box ?

Driver deployed successfully and I have checked it in folder \usr\sap\xxx\DVEBMGS30\j2ee\cluster\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.adapter.lib\lib and it's found ok. But this adapter type not showing in Communication Channel only RFC and SOAP are showing there. I have restarted the server also.

Add P-ATA drives: "Driver is not intended for this platform" for IDE Channel

With the S-ATA drives in my sig everything has worked without problems for a long time...
But when I tried to add an old P-ATA deathstar drive as master on first primary IDE and a LITE-ON dvd-rom as master on secondary my Windows XP reports hardware problems. When I enter Windows the hardware auto wiz starts working and after a little while reports that two devices of type "IDE channel" have "Driver is not intended for this platform", hints from the status bar says Primary IDE Channel and Secondary IDE Channel are found before showing the error window.
I currently use these settings in BIOS:
Native Mode
ATA Configuration - SATA only
SATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA channel selection - both
Weird thing is both the deathstar and the LITE-ON drive seem to work great in Windows. Of course I want to get rid of the exclamation marks in my device manager though. I read elsewhere drive emulation software could be a culprit, and renaming/deleting atapi.sys could be a problem solver - but not for me it turned out. Anyone got other methods to try out?
I've tried...
-other BIOS settings
-putting both devices on the same channel
-changing master/slave settings
-misc windows tricks, re-installing Intel Chipset drivers, uninstalling devices etc
-uninstalling Daemon Tools and TrueCrypt
The only thing all this accomplished is the I now got 4 devices with exclamation marks instead 2 when starting out.

I got rid of the problem
Turns out an older daemon tools version wasn't completely removed, I had to delete files starting with d346 from c:\windows\system32\drivers and then also search and delete registry keys found with relation to those files. Now my device manager reports no problems.
d346* is files that come with v 3.46, I figure they are named in the same way for other versions.

Update unavailable for this app for app not installed

I have a machine on which I keep seeing Angry Bird update
I never installed it. Or if someone in my family installed it without my knowledge then it is a different case altogether.
But at the moment it is not installed but I keep getting update of that. And when I click update it says Update Unavailable for this app
How can I remove this Update Message altogether from my App Store

How to fetch this field for my report?

In my system I am having one zprogram, where..,
If we enter F1 and F2 in the first screen we can present with second screen where we can have details...
In that details we are having F3 field(Say).
So this is not standard program. and for first screen we are having T'Code as TT1(Say).
And the most important thing here we have to note is F3 is not fetching from any database or tables...
So Here they are developed one code to generate that. Later they are not saving it in any data base or custom table..!
So Now my reuirement is..,
Here I want to develop one report with some columns(Fields) where it contains above F3.
Now,
I am having F1 and F2 with me.,
So how can I get F3 Value?
Do i need to use same logic behind the above program?
Or,
Can I call that second screen by inputting first screen inputs i.e F1 and F2?
If soo, How can read F3 from second screen?

In your report ,u can use the same logic code to calculate F3 ,dat they have used in the program.
If you feel value of F3 is needed in lots of places in your project,then u can develop a FM to calculte F3 inpuuting F1 and F2..and use the FM where evr u want...

LSMW dump with '/' for PRODPER field for AR load using Batch input.

I am getting an dump saying
Unable to interpret "/" as a number for IF BBSEG-PRODPER(1)
which is last field in the lsmw .
I defaulted to 200810 and also tried with blank and 102008 even though the dump exists.
let me know .any clue

BBSEG is intended for Batch Input, there should be only CHAR fields in it, if the field is a standard one look for OSS notes related, if it belongs to a customer include, correct your include (or CI include like CI_COBL_BI) as suggested in OSS notes mentioned above and use a char field with the length of the external format (e.g. 10 for date, etc.)
The IF BBSEG-PRODPER(1) syntax is presupposing a CHAR field, but when the ABAP executes it first check the whole field BBSEG-PRODPER, and if this is not a CHAR field you got a conversion error. A "patch" solution would be to use CATCH SYSTEM-EXCEPTIONS CONVERSION_ERRORS = 1. / ENDCATCH to catch the runtime error. You could also bypass the problem by redefining the field as char, use OVERLAY of FIELD-SYMBOLS for that.
