No power through usb ports when pc turned off P43 neo

Hi, how do I get power to the usb ports when the pc is shut down? I need to be able to do this as I have a wireless mouse that uses a charging cradle but I can't charge the mouse when the pc is turned off as no power is sent to the cradle when the pc is turned off.
I'm using a P43 neo motherboard with a e8400 (C0 stepping) cpu and windows 7 home.

Did you try this:
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

Well ... the charger is the original charger and just checked and confirmed it is a 5.1V charger. How come? Next is why when i connect my iPad via original usb cable, no response from macbook pro? used to sync with iTunes now totally dead.

I had this same problem when I tried to update. It locked up during the update. Your phone is in recovery mode. The only way I could restore my phone was to connect to a different computer and ask it to restore my phone. It worked and thanks to the fact that I had backed everything up to the iCloud before updating, everything is back to normal. I won't be updating to IOS 6.2.1 again. I had also updated iTunes and now whenever it starts it gives me an error message -42110 and doesn't recognize my Iphone when it's connected. Hopefully, Apple will fix this soon. Good luck.

Power-off USB-port when O.S. restarts

I need to switch-off the power of the USB-ports when system restarts.
I have a device connected to an USB-port and it gets the power from the USB-port.
I need that, when the system restarts (a simple software restart, not a complete reboot), the device is restarted with a power-off/power-on.
I have already tried with "devcon restart *ROOT_HUB*", but the command seams that restarts the software layers not the physical power.

Why is my iphone 3g drawing too much power through USB?

I'm getting an error that my iPhone 3G is drawing too much power through USB and the computer shuts the port down. I've tried it on PC & Mac, same thing both times. Won't charge on wall charger or iHome either... I've tried turning on/off & resetting, but still won't charge. Ideas?

mpusbapi.dll file which is for Visual C++. Can i make changes in this dll file to make it compatible with labview?

Which labview version do you have. Up to labview 7.1 it was no USB raw communication options. I have heard it did not work well in 7.1, but from 8.x most of the errors were fixed.

I do realize that the nano will resume where I left off in my audiobook if I reload the file that was last playing.
What I was hoping is that the 6g nano would work like my previous iPods and default to the last file played the next time played after Iused sleep mode instead of going to some random song on the iPod.
Since I usually have a lot of audiobooks on my iPod--and most of those have 10-15 files in them, it's a pain to have to navigate to the correct file (and try to remember which of the 10-15 files I was last playing). On all my other iPods I could simply hit play and it would start up in the audiobook right where it left off.
Note--this only happens if I use the sleep timer to turn off the iPod. If I pause the book myself, when I turn the iPod back on it'll "remember" what file it was playing.
Hope this makes sense.

It also broke your cap lock. You need to get your keyboard fixed as it makes reading your posts extremely difficult and is considered shouting which is rude

Powering off firewire ports when imac is off!

i was wondering, is there a command line or something else to configure the firewire ports on my imac so that when my imac is turned off, power doesn't continue flowing to my firewire 800 hard drive as well as my firewire 400 audio interface??? thanks

24” iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo OSX v10.5.5 shutdown anomaly.
It appears that the iMac does not truly shut down, the Firewire 400 port cycles on so that a hard drive attached to the port will turn on.
I took readings with a digital ammeter/powermeter attached to the iMac power cord.
The reading with the computer shut off read 5ma (0 watts on the wattmeter) cycling to 180ma (5 watts) for 1 second duration. This cycle repeats 23-24 times a minute. Unfortunately, this is enough to activate my One Touch Maxtor 500GB hard drive attached to the Firewire port. The readings with the iMac in the sleep mode were the same, so it seems shutting the computer down at night really doesn’t save any electricity. Attaching the Maxtor to the USB port does not turn on the hard drive when the computer is shut down.
I have seen other support group threads complaining about Firewire drives turning on when the computer is in shut down mode and the cause is generally accepted to be an active Firewire port.
Since my Maxtor doesn’t have an on/off switch, the best solution I have found so far is to use my APC 750 UPS to turn off the Maxtor. This APC has a master plug outlet that senses when the computer is turned on and activates 3 other outlets to on when the computer reaches a certain power threshold. Fortunately the threshold is user adjustable and I was able to set it high enough to turn off the Maxtor outlet when the iMac is off. This really doesn't solve the problem, I guess Apple will have to fix that, but it is a work around to all those HD lights.
Is anyone else able to confirm that their iMac cycles like mine does, or is this peculiar to my iMac? It is new and if it needs service I would prefer to do it while it is covered under warranty.
