No preview available

Running Windows XP where clicking on pdf documents to open them results in Windows Fax Viewer opening displaying the message "No Preview Available". Have tried removing the Acrobat program and re-downloading it, but to no avail.

Are you viewing your CF and SD cards with your camera directly connected to your computer or do you use a card reader?
And are you Mac or Windows?
By the way, Lr 1.0 supports the V-LUX 1. Is that the same as your camera?

No Preview Available in Thumbnails

The past couple of times when I have tried to import pictures from my camera into Lightroom 3, when the thumbnails finally come up, it is just a gray box that says no preview available. I have a little over 28,000 pictures in my catalog and have had no problems importing until recently. I optimize and back up my catalog everytime I use Lightroom, but it is getting slower and slower at importing. Tonight when I tried to import, it just froze and even after waiting about 10 minutes even the gray thumbnails hadn't shown up in the previews. Before tonight, once I imported them, I could preview them. I am importing RAW pictures that average in size from 7 to 15mb, but this has not been a problem until the last 2 imports. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do to make it where I can import my pictures again?

CRM Sneck preview available for download and install

Hi,
I was wondering whether a sneak preview version is also available for CRM which can be installed in a PC or a simple server along with the Potal. Portal sneak preview is already available. This is to have a own copy of the CRM for different config etc experiment.
Has anybody done this on his own? Please let me know.
I also wonder whether the same is avilable for BW or not?

I am importing images straight from a Canon T1i using a USB port. I have had not problems importing this like this until the last 2 imports and it started giving the grey thumbnails after about 15 pictures had imported out of 167 pictures. The next import would only give the grey thumbnails saying no preview available and when I tried to import tonight it just froze up and still hadn't imported any pictures at all. I am using Windows 7 with a 6GB ram, 64 Bit OS with Intel core Duo CPU T6600 2.2GHz

Brush Cursor Rotation - Preview available?

The problem is well known:
If you are using a tablet that can detect rotation of the pen you can rotate the angle of your brush along with it. This is very useful in inking and painting. In CS5 you get a preview of the way the brush is rotated - but only with the bristle tip brushes. Normal brushes are completely static in preview. When starting the stroke the preview freezes completely however.
Is there any way to fix this? What reason is there it is not already happening?
This is annoying me no end, as I bought the a wacom art pan to that particular end and now I cannot properly use it. Please fix this, if possible.

So I can only assume by that statement that this feature has actually been created but not implemented into CS6 do to performance issues? I honestly believe that the minds of Adobe can write this feature without having performance issues if Corel Painter can do it. Also looking at the new features and gpu enhancements, why would performance be an issue? This is a beta, at least have the option be available to use or not use for users .

Flash Catalyst "Panini" Preview available at Adobe Labs

I'm not sure how many of you have had time to keep up with what is going on at Adobe Max this year, but some of the keynote videos have demonstrated Flash Catalyst "Panini". There is a preview download of the future version of Flash Catalyst available at the Adobe Labs site here:

It's beta software, so all the usual caveats apply (you can learn more from the link above). Apart from the advances made in Flash Catalyst "Panini", the most immediate pieces are that this preview version can co-exist with a Flash Catalyst CS5 install (so no need to uninstall Fc CS5 to try it) and that this particular preview build doesn't open Fc CS5 projects.
Hopefully you find it to be an improvement and we welcome your feedback.

Though it looks like the extension serial number system isn't active until later this month.

At this time, one can stream about 75 live TV channels from the iPad, Xbox 360, LG Smart TV, and Samsung Smart TV.
From the iPad, this is through the 'FiOS Mobile' app from the App store.
For a list of channels available for Live TV on the aforementioned devices, you can go to either:
http://www22.verizon.com/home/livetv and select the link 'See available channels'
OR
http://www22.verizon.com/home/fiostv/features#connect and select the link 'your favorite TV channels'.
Keep in mind that you have to be subscribed to the selected TV channel in your FiOS TV package in order to watch that channel live.
Also, as PJL has mentioned, the live TV streaming would work only if connected to your residential home network.
Lastly, if you'd like to submit the suggestion to include international channels to live TV streaming on the iPad (and other devices), you can do so via Verizon Idea Exchange.

No Preview available when importing pictures into lightroom

Using lightroom 1.0 and my Nikon d200 with a cf card I am able to see preview pictures when deciding what to import into lightroom. Using a new Leica V Lux with an SD card I am not able to see photos prior to importing into lightroom. Have searched for an answer to no avail. I must be missing something but can't figure our what. Can anyone help me?? ml

We're having some difficulty getting the StockQuote demo working with the latest OW4J Preview release. We get the demo web page to appear but are not sure how to set Owner, ItemKey, and UserKey such that we don't get the following errors when we click "Run Workflow". Any help would be appreciated.

OpenGL preview available in CS3 trial?

While I am waiting for the purchase process to deliver my physical version of AE CS3, I have been using the downloadable trial. Whenever I try to turn on the OpenGL preview I get a message saying the OpenGL preview is not currently supported on this version of Mac OS.
My system specs are as follows:
Mac Pro 2x2.66 Dual Core Xeon
ATI Radeon X1900
Mac OS 10.5.2
It appears that the version of AECS3 for the trial has not been updated to the latest version 8.0.2. Is that correct, or do I have some other problem?

Yes, the trial is the original version sans patches (as is any commercial version you buy). However, just as you would update the full version, you can update the trial by running the Updater or downloading the patches manually.

Smartform debug when no preview avail

How to debug the smartform when the form have no print preview option ,it is triggering based on order type . which is printing directly, its not have an option to see the preview.
Generally, when we select the print preview iption it goes to debug mode. but here is not be the case.

LR displays "no preview available" upon import direct from camera after last update. How do I fix this?

I have the latest LR update with Nikon D700 and import directly from camera. I purchased a new CF card in case the old one was the problem but I get the same thing with the new card. Is there a bug in the last update or is this a problem with my equipment?

I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

No preview available for a .psd (CC) in lightroom 5

the psd file from photoshop cc is not giving a previeuw in lightroom 5

You need to set your default saving in Photoshop to Maximum Compatibility in order to see the thumbnail in LR (any version). When you save a document as a PSD a dialog will show up (unless you have checked Don't show again) that askes if you want to Maximize Compataiblity. This should be checked in order for LR to parse the file.
