No primary flag for customer contacts

Hello all. I am able to create new contacts with the API's and designate them as primary contact per customer site without issues. However, I cannot find in the customer screens where the contact is indicated as primary. I query a customer, go to the "Communication" tab, and see the contacts listed there. There is no primary indicator shown. If i then drill down in to the contact who i know to be the primary for this site, I still do not see a primary flag. Does anyone know where to find this? We are running 12.0.6. Thanks in advance.

Flag for deletion is just what it says, it flags a material for future deletion, Which is carried out when running archiving. However the material master with a deletion flag is not archived if certain checks like stock check or BOM usage fails.
Unless you have not changed warning messages to error messages you can do everything with a material flagged for deletion. The deletion flag does not stop you from doing business.
If you change some warning messages (e.g. in purchasing area) then you cannot procure that material anymore.
However this is not possible in other areas.
To stop the usage of a material you should customize the material and sales status and enter then in the material master.
If a material flagged for deletion should not be used anymore, then you can customize and set a material status and sales status to prevent all kind of usages for a material .
A material status needs to be defined for your business needs. this can be done in IMG > Logistics General > Material Master > Settings For Key Fields > Define Material Statuses. short OMS4
As the material status may not be sufficient enough for all cases you can assign a sales status as well, to block certain sales activities. The sales status can be defined in IMG > Logistics general > material master > setting for central fields > sales relevant data > define sales status.

       I don't think SAP has provided marriage anniversary field , you can very well user REMARKS field to enter the details.

  • Identify the Primary Account for a Contact on a report

    I want to build a report that show cases all the accounts for a contact which I can do using the Account-Contact History report. The challenge that I am facing is to the particular contact I would like to identify their primary account. How would I do that? Anybody have any suggestions besides using Web Services

    It would depend on how the data is loaded in your system.
    In case of mine when I click on any Contact, then in the Account section I see only one Account Name which is the primary.
    So if I just use Contact History and pull Contact Name, Account Name then I will get the list of all Primary Accounts affiliated to the Contact(1:1 relation)
    I wonder how your system is like. Perhaps you can request the data guys to expose the Primary flag checkbox as a field in Analytics and simply use it.

  • How to create Pager Number for Customer contact in VAP1 or XD02

    HI ,
       I am trying to mass upload Customer contact data , there is pager number to be uploaded . but when i do it through BDC . Its doesnt record the ALV pop up as there no screen fields as it is not a program screen .
      So BDC selects only the first item in the list , which is FAX number . So i cant upload Pager number through BDC .
      Does there any method available to do the same ? i tried direct upload also but seems tedious .

    You would do it the way I created it:
    Select the Text tool in Photoshop and set the font and parameters as I have listed.  Then enter whatever text you like.  It will be rendered over the top of the lower layers you may have in the document.  Save as an image of the appropriate type and you're there.
    Note that "lower layers you may have in the document" could conceivably be none at all (i.e., you render the text over a transparent document).  You could imagine saving that as a .png with transparency and get light text in an image that could then be put over the top of anything else.  The alpha mixing will see to it that the edges smoothly blend with the background.  I haven't actually tried this (I usually do try my own suggestions) because of lack of time right now.

    I set a Deletion flag for a customer in xdo6, when i am trying make the sale order system is giving only warnning message and allowing me to make the sale order. But i need a error message and should not allow me to make the sale order , support me to come out this issue.

    Use VD05 to block the customer for Order, Delivery or billing
    Use XD06 for deletion flag.
    If your requirement is that orders should not be created for that customer, VD05 will resolve it.
    in VD05, put customer number and select Sales area by customer.Here select "Overall Block" for order, delivery and billing.

  • Create new contact types for customer contact worklist

    Hi,
    I'm new to Collections Management and have been asked to add some new dropdown options to the Create Customer Contact screen, Contact Type field.  The current options are 'Outbound Call', 'Inbound Call', 'Visit to Customer' and 'Visit from Customer'.  This is viewable in the Worklist (tcode UDM_SUPERVISOR).
    I've searched SPRO and thought it might be set in the Customer Service or Notification area but can't find it in either.
    Any suggestions welcome.

  • New to Apple.  Any suggestions for a contact mgmt. app for Mac similar to ACT?

    I am totally new on Apple products.  Can anyone suggest if there is a comparable product such as ACT or Goldmine for Customer Contact Management purpose?  I am excited about the simplicity of "Contacts" on Mac compared to ACT or some of the more complex programs where we never use all those fancy features.  I am not fully aware of Apple's "Contacts" program capabilities yet. 
    I run a small business and need some basic features such as being able to sort contacts based on City, type of client, or any other fields, so I can create reports and use the list for marketing purposes, etc.
    I will greatly appreciate if anyone has suggestions on the following two items:
    How to migrate my ACT contacts easity into either iCloud or on my new Mac?
    Any tutorials that I can look at how small businesses are using the Mac contacts database?

    Daylite from Marketcircle is probaby the best bet: It's a full-fledged CRM solution.  It will work for a single person, though it's most targeted at small workgroups (5-50 people).

    The T-code VD06 is used for deletion flag for customer. That means u cannot delete the customer master data. But u can keep deletion flag for that customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.
    Even thought u can use this customer for sales order but the system will give information message that Customer has deletion flag
    There is another code VD05 there  u can block particular customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.
    Then u cannot use the customer master data for furthur processing.

  • In table TCURC set the primary flag

    I am trying to do a RSCRM_BAPI download and am getting an error in the job log "For the ISO code there is no unique SAP currency code for ALE".  The procedure says to set the primary flag for ISO codes used multiple times in the TCURC table.  I have looked at the table and indeed there are two entries for the ISO code USD.  One is a currency USD and the other is USDN for Internal United States Dollar.  Has anyone seen this before or adjusted this table for this problem.   Seems to me that USD should be the the primary ISO code but i am reluctant to make the change without knowing the implication.

    Please check OSS note 605208 - RSCRM - Restrictions.
    "The OLAP processor delivers the RSCRM the SAP currency code. The RSCRM has to convert this code to the ISO code. Therefore the table TCURC has to be maintained correctly. If an ISO code appears several time in the ISOCD column, exactly one line should have set the XPRIMARY flag to 'X' for this ISO code. Otherwise a warning is thrown. But it should work also with this warning. The warning is just annoying."

  • Customizing contact record storage

    Hi,
    CCA_AM_813 guide on page 97 tells about "six main configuration options for customizing contact record storage".
    I tried to use "Configuration 4".
    The guide says:
    "In Configuration 4, you keep your contact records in a new
    table that you create in the Oracle Contact Center
    Anywhere database. You also create a new contact
    template and a new data source: Custom contact template
    (create)"
    I followed all the instructions for "Configuration 4", but when I try to make a contact search from IM with the new "Display Template" I receive this error:
    "An error occurred while searching for contacts"
    And this are the IM logs:

  • AR Customer account Bill-to site's primary flag error

    Hi all,
    A AR Customer account has 2 Bill-to site, BOTH of them has primary flag checked. Both of them are protected by ready only.
    I created a similar seniaro by updating primary_flag = 'Y' in hz_cust_site_uses_all table and use API to fix it, but API couldn't change any one of them to value 'N'
    I'm affraid update sql statement is harmful to the record. Any other solution to uncheck one of them?

  • Custom Ringtone for your Contacts on Nokia N900

    Hey guys,
    Its great to know that We got Nokia N900 in India now.
    Many of people searching for custom ringtone for their contacts. I have installed app for it and worked great, here is the screen of how to do it.
    1-goto app manager and download Ringtino app ( name specified in attached screen )
    2-goto contact and click on title not edit contact, u will get " custom Ringtone " as like my screen.
    Let me know if anything needed.

  • Different alerts for email and sms messages for a contact with custom ring tone

    Hello,
    I have a Curve 8530 with OS 5.0.0.395.
    I have my default sound profile set up to play one type of alert sound when I receive and email message and another when I receive an SMS message (so I know the difference without looking at my phone). That works fine except for contacts that I also have a custom ring tone set up for. It seems that under the Custom Ring Tones/Alerts section of the contact there is only one entry for Messages and it applies to both email and SMS. If I have the contact's message alerts set to the alert I have for email, then their SMS messages play the same alert and I might think it's an email. Or if I have the messages alerts set to the SMS alert sound then their emails sound like SMS messages. Is there a way to have a custom ring tone set up for a contact but still allow their emails and SMS messgaes to follow the current sound profile's settings?
