"No Printable Document"

I have sent an email with a PDF attached and I get a notice that the email was received but that there is an error because there was "no pritnable document."  It is a blank email with a small pdf document attached.  My printer says that it is connected and I have confirmed the email address.  Can anybody help me?   I would really appreciate it.

Hello 4rreds,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that an attachment to an email send to the printer's ePrint email address did not print and you were given an error message.
I have included a document with information about when an ePrint job fails to print. Please click here to access it. If you find that doesn't assist please respond back with the following information:
1)       What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have?
2)      Have you customized the printer's ePrint email address?
3)      Does it happen with all the emails you send to the printer?
4)      Are you able to successfully print the pdf from your computer?
Thank you.

I am trying to print from ipad to new all in one printer w fax that supports eprint. I keep getting a message from eprint that document is cancelled because There was no printable document, want to know why? What i am trying to print is an email.

    Hello!
Verify that there is text in the body of the email.
ePrint is designed to omit the To, From and Subject lines in emails, so that the print job comes out with a very professional appearance.

  • Output an HTML file as a printable document

    Hi,
in my application, I generate and display an html file which
is supposed to be printed as a single document. I don't want the
page number, date, link, title to be shown on the print out.
how do I control them not to be shown?
as an example, application creates a portfolio of a person
and displays on the screen on a new window with no file or status
bars. it needs to be printed without any extra info such as page
    number, title...
    thanks in advance.

You go to each and every user of your application and open
    their printer
preferences dialog box and change the options for this. Then
    of course
many ornery users such as myself will change them back to the
    way I want
    it to print.
These are user controlled options in the client's system. I
    was once,
years ago, aware of a Microsoft Active X applet that proposed
    to give
web applications some control of these features for users of
    a Microsoft
browser on a Microsoft operating system. Other then this
    limited use
case, there is little that can be done.

  • How can I use forms to create a printable document or an html page?

This question may be a little confusing, so below is a link to an example of what I want to create using Dreamweaver.
    http://www.howard.edu/technology/info/web/hosting/request/default.htm
On this webpage, the user is asked to fill in the forms with their info and when they press "view printable form", a html page using the info that was inputted is created for the user to print and sign.
So, I basically want to create the exact same thing in Dreamweaver - any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Creating a print button to print a page from another document - is this possible?

    Hello,
My company is designing an interactive pdf with indesign with some great navigation on a side-bar. We've made the dimensions of the navigation pages larger than 8.5 x 11. We are constructing a pdf portfolio that contains a printable version of this document and this interactive version. Would it be possible to have a print button in the interactive document that calls up the corresponding page in the printable document and send it to the printer?

Flash Catalyst does not directly support printing. You are going to have to add that functionality via Flash Builder and writing ActionScripting. I have not worked with the printing capabilities in Flex, so there is not a lot I can offer past this in terms of advice.I would suggest browsing the Flex forums for some guidance on how to assemble your state for the printer.
    Good luck!

  • Is there a way to make a .pdf file a non-printable item?

    Hi there,
I'm currently pulling together an online book to sell, but want to publish it in a .pdf format. One thing I am little concerned about is security of my product. Whilst I do understand that the more security I have on an item the more I am likely to encourage illegal sharing of my book (which I am prepared for), I was wondering if there was a way to make my book a non-printable document?
Although I do understand that this is quite unlikely, any ideas about security would be very gratefully recieved.
    Thanks
    Roz

Acrobat has a built-in security setting that prevents the file from being printed. All of Adobe's appliacations will adhere to this setting when applied, but there are plenty of third-party apps and PDF viewers that will not. For real security you'll need to use DRM technology, which is very expensive.

  • Follow-up question about forms and SharePoint Online

I asked a question about life after InfoPath earlier, and got a good answer:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/fb23b3d9-8a09-4267-aab5-09929f6a3082/life-after-infopath-seeking-advice
After looking at all of the limitations of SharePoint Online, I'm wondering how developers are dealing with the limitations. Lets say you are asked to develop something that has complex logic, including fetching data from external web services, dynamically
displaying parts of a process to people depending on role, and ending up with a printable document. In our on-premises environment, InfoPath is well suited to this task, with some code behind for some things. Or, if not using InfoPath, we would use application
    pages and workflow.
Neither of those are available in SharePoint Online, so what would you do?

Some things, such as the conditional display of content, can be done via JavaScript. More advanced items, such as integrating external web services would likely require a SharePoint "app". A SharePoint app is essentially a link to a separate site
that is running an asp.net web app (or PHP, or whatever). This asp.net site can do anything it needs with any web services, or conditional formatting, or anything. Because it's registered as a SharePoint app, it can also call back into the SharePoint site
and work with data. So, a SharePoint App could present the user with a robust form that simply sends the data back to a SharePoint list. The SharePoint app can also be surfaced on the SharePoint site itself in an iframe, so the user won't know that the form
    is hosted by another server.
By the way, the ideas behind the app model permeate the entire SharePoint environment: instead of having the SharePoint server itself run all kinds of custom business logic, that workload is handled by other servers, so the SharePoint servers can be focused
on running the core bits of SharePoint. InfoPath puts a large load on the servers, so it's out.  XSLT list views also put a load on the server, so they're also out. SSRS is an amazingly fantastic tool, but is not supported in the cloud (and there's no
alternative). Timer jobs, event handlers, workflow, and many other things have been re-architected to take the load off the SharePoint servers.

  • SAP Business One 32 Bit Client freezing when printing?

    Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing an issue with printing on a SAP Business One 32 Bit Client. The client is installed onto a Windows 7 (x64) Professional computer, and the business I work for uses the version of Business One shown below -
The issue that is being experienced is as follows - assuming that an appropriate (printable) document is loaded, e.g.: a Delivery Note, then selecting File (menu) > Print:
20 second delay to 'load' the printer selection dialog, then after clicking on OK (to print)
30 second delay until 'paper is printed', during which time the SAP Business One User Interface freezes!
I have identified that this issue only occurs with SAP, e.g.: printing of Word documents, PDFs, emails, etc responds in the expected amount of time (and none of the a fore mentioned programs experiences any freezing with their User Interfaces).
In order to remedy this I first downloaded and installed the newest printer driver for the printer, however when no improvement was noticed I made the decision to uninstall and then re-install Business One. In doing so I followed the method outlined below -
Even after performing all of the above I have seen no improvement in printing or program responsiveness. If you have experienced this issue, and you know a fix can you please contribute to this forum thread?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    David

  • Bridge CS5.1 Help

I am cataloging some eps files using bridge.  When ever it catalogs the files you can see the images  but they are not the whole image its cutting off some of them. What am I doing wrong?  PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance

You will have to excuse my non intellegence when it comes to Bridge because I am new to this type of what i call cataloging.
Let me explain what I am trying to do I have several EPS files that I need to be able to put in a book for viewing all the files at once for my customers.
I am using Bridge the way I was told to get those files into bridge off of the CD that I have is to use the Output, Then PDF, then find my images on my CD and open it, Then when it open I could select all the images at once and then do a SAVE AS and it would catalog all images for a printable document.
However on some of the images it will show me a full image,  but on some of them I guess where the Image on the disk is slightly bigger when I catalog and save them it is only showing 3/4 of a full image
This is what it is suppose to look like.
This is the image I am seeing after i do the PDF File on it not the full image,
I need this to show the full image.  I hope this helps I'm not exactly sure how to eplain it.

  • How do I access a keyboard to type in email address, etc. when trying to set up APPS

I am trying to activate APPS (eprint) for my new HP 6600 All-in-1.  Need to enter email address, password, etc. to use apps such as Google Docs., Scan Receipt, ebox.  Everything is all ready to enter on the printer screen, but no keyboard is displayed.  The set-up seems complete and correct, and i can immediately print items such as the Easy (HP) forms, but do not need to add email, password, etc. to use these.
I'm using VISTA: IE9 and Firefox (latest issue) are my browsers.  Thanks.

  • Reporting Options in Oracel ADF BC Application

    Hi everyone,
I need to understand what are various options I could use to provide some reports in ADF BC application. Integrating Crystal Reports in one of the options which sounds complicated, but is there any other easier way to generate simple reports for an application based on Jdeveloper.
    thanks

    Hi Michael,
I just went through Crystal Report Doc(from BO website) which talks about integrating crystal report using Crystal APIs. Since they provide integrated solution for Eclipse, I was hoping for similar thing for Jdeveloper but no luck.
For some IDE like Jdeveloper, it essentially tells (in my understanding) to import all relevent crystal .jar files in your application and use these classes to open an existing .rpt file in the browser. It requires detail knowledge of all Cyrstal APIs and its use.
The solution you suggested, will have problem with saving the printable document e.g pdf format.
    right?
    Thanks for reply

  • HP PSC 1317 All-In-One Problems

I am using a HP PSC 1317 All-In-One printer located on my Windows network, Mshome, connected to my Desktop Computer (PC). Using two Windows-powered laptops with the HP PSC printer being 'Shared' I am successfully able to print out documents over the network, wirelessly.
Today I have spent most of my time trying to get this same result using my PowerBook G4.
I connect to my Network, Mshome, open up a document and select print. My current printer is not listed so I click to add one. I then go through the steps required to add a printer to my PowerBook over the network. This all goes well until is lists it as 'Generic' to which I open up and select HP. I scroll up and down the list umpteen times to find my printer model is not listed so for most of my day I have been trying out official HP drivers for OS X for my model of printer including 3rd party drivers that all don't seem to work.
I bit the bullent and decided to install the printer directly via USB on to my PowerBook. Despite installing unwanted applications on my PowerBook that works and I can print out successfully. Using this same method, I try to add the printer over the network, with it still plugged in to my PowerBook, thinking that I would be able to locate the drivers, but still no luck (or no idea where these drivers will be located). I give up and plug the printer back in to my Desktop PC and then try to add it using the same process before but unable to locate the required drivers and the product model under HP.
I am totally clueless as to what I can do to have my PowerBook print out my work wirelessly using my HP PSC 1317 All-In-One printer using my Windows Network, Mshome.
Usually I am quite quick to fixing these sort of computer/hardware-related problems but this one simply has me stumped. Any help and adive on this would greatly help and end a wasted day.
    Regards,
    Steve

There was no PSC 1310 model choice in the menu. Deskjet 900 series doesn't work and, yes, at one point I did install Ghostscript. My printer does, however, work on the Windows network using multiple computers and laptops running Windows. Nevertheless, connecting to the network and using the printer using my PowerBook doesn't.
Nevermind. My alternative is that I can send my printable documents to a Windows computer on the network to print out. Nothing I cannot bypass anyway.
    Thanks for the help.

  • QA32 spreadsheet needs to unmark the button "always use selected format"

    Hello Experts.
I am currently doing some testings in QA32, i want to transfer my list in printable documents, when i am in the menu LIST- EXPORT - SPREADSHEET , then the list for choices appears if(excel, all available formats)then there is this button box "always use selected format" which i have marked it and saves..then when after i proceed to QA32 again, i can't choose the format that i want in the selection.I believe it is the result of marking the button "always selected use format"
how can i unmarked the  button "always selected use format" so i can have the chance to choose again?
    Thanks

    Exporting to Spreadsheets
    Use
You can export the list as various spreadsheet formats. The following list summarizes the most important of these formats and the corresponding file name extension for the files:
    Format
    File Name Extension
    Excel (in MHTML format)
    MHTML
Excel (in MHTML format for 2000/97)
    MHTML
Star Office (in ODS format 1.0)
    ODS
Excel (in Office 2003 XML format)
    MHTML
    SAP-internal XML format
    XML
    SAP standard (internal table)
    XML
    Excel (in previous XXL format)
    XLS
A format is only included in the selection options if it is available on your PC. The system administrator can also restrict the list of possible formats or even reduce the export to a certain format.
When you export the list in one of these formats, the system automatically generates a file with the name export and with the corresponding file name extension. Exactly which parts of the list are exported to the file depends on the format.
Exactly which data is exported to the file depends on the format:
    ●      In MHTML and XML formats, for example, you export the data that is displayed in the list on the screen. The number, selection, and sequence of columns as well as the sorting, filter, and calculation settings are all included in the export.
    ●      In Excel XXL format, any functions that you executed on the list are not included in the export. The file contains all the columns that you have displayed, but your sorting, filter, and calculation settings are ignored.
    Prerequisites
To be able to display and, where necessary, further edit the file that you have generated with the export, the relevant program must be installed.
    Procedure
    Exporting the List
           1.      Choose  with the quick info text Export and select Spreadsheet in the selection list. In full-screen mode, choose List ® Export ® Spreadsheet.
If you have a choice of more than one format, the Select Spreadsheet dialog box opens.
           2.      In the Select Spreadsheet dialog box, select the format in which you want to save the exported data.
           3.      Confirm the settings.
           4.      In the dialog box that appears, specify the path and name of the file and save the file.
For some formats, you also need to specify other settings for the file that is saved.
           5.      Make the required settings, where applicable.
If an installed program is linked to the selected file name extension, this program is started automatically and the generated file is opened.
    Keeping Settings
If you plan to reuse the same spreadsheet format, you can save the settings for the format. By doing this, you can omit the step with the Select Spreadsheet dialog box and can export the list more quickly.
           1.      Proceed as described above in steps 1 and 2.
           2.      In the Select Spreadsheet dialog box, select Always Use Selected Format.
           3.      Confirm your settings and continue as outlined above.
From now on, whenever you export your list as described above, you bypass the Select Spreadsheet dialog box step and proceed immediately to saving the data.
    4.      If you want to display the Select Spreadsheetdialog box again during the export, in the context menu for the list, choose Spreadsheet.
The dialog box opens; the Always Use Selected Format indicator is not set.

  • F.27, Duplicate Spool Request

    Hi All,
While running the program - Periodic Account Statement (t-code F.27) u2013 in background(Program > Execute in background)  2 spool requests are generated.
Why 2 spool requests are generated ? Only 1 spool request should get generated.
Correspondence Type used is a customized Correspondence Type(Z).
Unwanted Spool generated is of type u2018ABAP Listu2019 and title generated is u2018F140 LOCL 20100927KORKu2019.
Because of the 2 spools 2 hard prints are printed.
Please suggest as to what could be the cause of 2 spools ?
    Thanks
    Dev

    Hi,
    As info says:
    Output
If correspondences are printed, a log with the spool requests created by
the print programs is output for each program run. If you do not specify
in the program on which printer the log is to be printed, the program
may take the printer specified in the user master of the user who
started the program or the printer specified when the job is scheduled.
If the program is carried out online, the log is displayed on the
screen. If the program is planned as a job, the spool request name of
the log is made up of the identifier F140, the printer destination, the
date of creation and the program ID KORK.
The correspondences are printed by means of the corresponding print
programs. If printing is possible on the basis of the data and the
configuration, a spool request is created for each correspondence type
and company code. Regardless of whether printing actually takes place,
the processed correspondence requests are marked as completed by means
of a print date, so that reorganization can be carried out.
ie: you have a SPOOL with the log, and you have other SPOOL with the printable document that you must send to customers.
    I hope this helps you
    Regards,
    Eduardo
