  • I am trying to connect my ipad to my new hp photosmart printer 6520e The ipad is saying no air printers found . The printer is already connected to my mac book and my desktop wirelessly. What do I need to do ? Please help

I  can't connect my ipad to the wireless printer hp photosmart 6520e . Ipad is stating no air printers found. My MacBook and desktop are connected and working well.

S the printer connected to the same Wifi network as the iPad?  If so, is it wirelessly connected to it?
That particular pinter model does appear on Apple's list of compatible printers.

You might want to try to reboot the router and try again as a first step.

  • NO PRINTERS FOUND - setting up no internet access printing with ipad 2

    I have just purchased a:
    Ipad 2
AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n
HP LaserJet P1102w Printer ( An Airport supported printer suggested by apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356 )
    Heres what i want:
I want to be able to put this printer in my car and print from my ipad to my printer via wifi or bluetooth (whichever will work)
Heres what i did and its not working:
    unboxed everything
    activated my ipad
got printer to print wirelessly from my windows laptop so i know it works!
configured a new wifi network on the airport express base station
I did not setup airtunes when asked too during setup - Not sure if this makes a difference.
tried printing to printer from ipad and it says " no airport printers found"
    Please help?
I also went into the manual setting of the airport express base station and under printers there is no printers to select there to edit!
Next I physically connected the printer to the base station and it still will not print!
Any help is much appreciated - thanks!

The DSL needs a route back to the 192.168.10.x network. So using IOS terminology (although the DSL will have different syntax) -
    ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.2
if you cannot add a route to the DSL then the other option is to NAT all 192.168.10.x  IPs  to 192.168.2.2 so that DSL knows where to send teh return traffic eg.
    int eth1/0
    ip nat inside
    int fa0/0
    ip nat outside
    access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.10.0 0.0.0.255 any
ip nat inside source list 101 interface fa0/0 overload

  • Can't print from iPad to brand new Photosmart Prem eAIO C310 - says "No AirPrint Printers Found"

I spent 70 mins on the phone with Apple.  They couldn't get it to work.  Have ios 5 on the iPad and have reset it to brand new settings twice.  Have both the ipad and the printer sitting within 3 feet of the router.
The printer  works seamlessly with a laptop using Vista and another laptop using Windows 7.
It is only with the iPad that it won't work - and that is the only reason I bought this printer, so I could print from the iPad.
I have followed 5 of the 6 steps in order on the "The Printer is not Found,' 'No Printers Found,' or 'Printer is Offline' Message Displays on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch" HP help document.
The only thing I haven't done is verify that my router can forward Bonjour packets. (we are doing that right now)
The bluetooth setting on the iPad is off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello suesheldon,
I’m sorry to hear that you are having and issue but here are a few questions/suggestions:
Does the printer have the most current updates
Have you ever been able to print from your iPhone before?
Try a AdHoc Connection Test.  This connect the Ipad to the printer bypassing the router.
Start by restoring network defaults on the printer-go to setup-wireless-restore network defaults-yes
Once defaults have been restored turn on the wireless connection on the printer. -  do NOT connect it to your wireless network at this time.
On you Ipad got to Settings-Wifi-Choose a network-  look for the network that starts with HPC310 and select it.
Wait about 3 minutes to make sure the ad hoc connection is established.
Once this is done try to print.  If it prints, then the issues is most likely in the router.
Although I work for HP, my posts and replies are my own opinion and not those of HP.

I have the up photos smart 5514 printer and can't get it hooked up to print web pages. It says no air printers found and both a connected to the same wifi

    Shannmo-
The HP PhotoSmart 5514 is on Apple's list of AirPrint printers, so it should work.  <iOS: AirPrint 101>
One problem might be that your WiFi router does not correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint.  Contact the router's manufacturer to see if there is a change to its setup or a firmware update that will solve the problem.
I had a printing problem several months ago, where the WiFi had jumped to a neighbor's WiFi that happened to have the same name.  There are a LOT of WiFi routers out there named "Linksys"!

  • No air printers found

Try to print and get no air printers found. What went wrong worked fine yesterday please help

Dumb answer! That is not a solution it's a work around. I have a work network and home network at home and sometimes this AirPrint works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't just reboot my Small Business Server in order to check and see if it's handling DHCP properly!! This is a failure with Apple it just plain old decides when it's going to see the printers or not! I have to HPs in the house IPhone seems them sometimes most times not. If I login to my laptop it sees both printers always......... cause they are there.

  • HT4356 All my devices except my iPhone 4S can airprint.  Only the 4s tells me no airprint printers found.  I see no changes in the settings and I am on the same network.

All my devices except my iPhone 4S can airprint.  Only the 4s tells me no airprint printers found.  I see no differences in the settings and I am on the same network as the printer.  Like I said, two iPads and an iPhone 4 airprint like a champ!

Appreciate the suggestion and tried it, but still, no joy.  I even had another iPhone brought into the network and it found the printer, no problem.  It's just this one iPhone 4s.  Sounds like a trip to the Genius Bar for me!

  • Suddenly, my IPad and iPhone stopped printing to my canon airrprint printer. PC and Mac still print wirelessly. IPad and iPhone show message "no AirPrint printers found". Previously, all was working fine. What happened?

  • No AirPrint Printers Found

I have a Canon PIXMA MG6220 printer.  It has the most current firmware and is working perfectly.  It is on the same network as my iPhone.  The printer prints fine when printing from my computer.  However, when I try to print from my phone, I get the "No AirPrint Printers Found."  My iOS version is 8.1.2.  I've already checked with Canon and my WiFi provider, and there are no issues.  So, the only thing that seems to be an issue is the iPhone itself.  It was working previously but with the latest update, it stopped working.  Are there any workarounds or fixes that anyone knows of?  Since I have investigated the other possible sources, the only one left is a bug in the iOS software.  Anyone else have a problem?

Gee, I'm so glad your printer works - mine doesn't.  It was working and then it stopped.  I won't be spending the money next time to get specifically an AirPrint printer.  Does anyone have any helpful advice?  Stop telling me iTunes has nothing to do with it.  I know it runs off Bonjour.
You don't have a clue how it works, yet you come here and spout your nonsense at us?

  • IPad - No Printers Found

Just got a PhotoSmart Wireless e-All-in-One HP C310, works fine on my MacBook Air and a Windows desktop
Can e-mail anything from the iPad to the printer via hpeprint.com
All the printer firmware & iOS are up to date
All are on the same network, iPad is coming up on the Router DHCP Client Table.
Have reset all equipment a number of times
Tried all programs on the iPad as well as an iPhone
    Keep getting "No Printers Found"
    Thanks

    McCahey-
First be sure you have checked for a printer firmware update.  It must be done from the printer's control panel.
Your problem is most likely a WiFi router that does not correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint.  The Apple AirPort models work well with AirPrint, but some other brands do not.  It may be possible to make it work by changing the router's setup or by updating its firmware.

  • I continue to get 'no air printers found' after switching on/off and ink and paper ok. What do I do now?

I continue to get 'no air printers found' after switching on/off. Ink and paper ok. What should I try next please?

See requirements for AirPrint and printers that support AirPrint here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If your printer supports AirPrint but does not work then:
Your printer might need a firmware update
Your printer must be on the same WiFi network
Your router must support Bonjour (Zero-configuration networking).
    Troubleshooting:
Turn Off iPad, WiFi router (remove from power), and Printer (remove from power).
    Turn on WiFi router
    Wait 30 seconds
    Turn on printer
    Wait 30 seconds
    Turn on iPad
    Try to print.

  • Printers not showing up in Add Printers / Network module - No printers found

    Hello All,
I have tried a few different recommended fixes to no avail.  When simply going to Devices and Printers, Add Printer, then Network.... no printers are found, until you click the The Printer isn't listed and find under the directory, they are all seen.
Nothing has changed with the server itself and everything seems to be in order.  This is a problem since I'll be rolling a bunch of new larger MFD printers in the coming weeks.  I will mention, and not sure if the timing is just coincidence,
but I did install the NFS file service to the server, then promptly removed it, and this seemed to happen around that time.  Any help/lead would be appreciated.
Below are the items I have tried.
Removed/Relisted all printers in Printer Management
Confirmed the printer permissions as correct
Confirmed the printers are shared and visible when browsing to the printer server via UNC path
Printers are visible in the Default Naming Context for that server within ADSIedit
Network Discovery (for domain users) is enabled IN and OUT on the printer server as well as on any client machine trying to find/add one of these printers
Event View or the Role events show NO errors for that particular service
    The SSDP service is running
Using local gpedit, published the printers manually (can only be seen from the print server itself and no other client, but also doesn't show name or location of the printer)

    Hi JS1980,
Sorry for my interrupting. Just confirm something more.
Based on your description, did you mean that you can connect those printers and use them as normal, when find
printers via feature “Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature”? Meanwhile, if logged on with an administrator account, will encounter the same issue?
In addition, I know that you didn’t suspect it’s related to group policy settings. Just for a confirmation,
    would you please use
Gpresult command to check? Or you can send the result to
OneDrive then post the link here. (Please hide or remove private and protected information)
Meanwhile, there seems has a similar thread. Please refer to and check if can help you.
    Windows
7 Not Seeing one or more AD Printers when adding printers
    Hope this helps.
