No process defined for form appraisal template

when in IMG path "define tabs and process configuration for template", on the "process configuration tab", I enter data and click Save. I now get the warning message "No process defined for form ..." as a consequence I cannot perform my configuration. the process is not showing up. and no phases/steps can be assigned to the process for configuration.

"test printing" via SE71 only prints what exists in the form. Here your form is missing TITLEDET window and element.
The print program tries to print TITLEDET but it does not exist. Could you check SAP notes to get correct versions of print program and sapscript form.

Window RUEKOPF is not defined for form ZWESCHEINV3

Hi Guru,
I have encountered an issue whose possible resolution i am not able to meet.
The issue is like this :
While performing MIGO for the Return Delivery user is successfully getting the maerial document number . But when user trying to perfor /n or anyother transaction following message is appearing (Note: For Good Receipt user is not getting any message)
SAPoffice info.
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author "User_Name".
The detailed analysis of this error message done using SM13. which is showing there is some error occured in Function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE

Here i am getting error information for that particular function module that Window RUEKOPF is not defined for form ZWESCHEINV3.

The single test (ctrlshftF9) in Sm13 of that particular function module shows the following error message

After going through the help text of the above error message I have found following
Diagnosis
The specified window is not defined in the form
I have checked the form ZWESCHEINV3 in SE71. The window RUEKOPF is present over there.
So what might be the reason for getting this error and what approach we should take to resolve this.

I have gone through the OSS note you have provided.. There i can able to find that This is for error message whose TD = 427
Symptom
When you print a collective slip for areturn delivery, the update
terminates in function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE. *The error message is TD*
*427.*
But if you check my case
Error details   Class:     TD         Number:    426
So I would like to know how far this ossnote will helpout to resolve issue like my case

For this , go to RWB->COnfiguration and do the configuration

Adding a box in Portal for Performance appraisal template

Dear Experts,
We have already released a performance appraisal template and its in production use for a while now.
Now, client wants to add 1 box titled 'Managers comment'. Since its already released template I cant make changes in it and add a criteria in the form of 'Managers Comment'. What is the solution? Is there a way by which we can make this box appear in portal through coding? This change is required in a template which is in use. We cant create a new template.
I know there is a note to make changes to released appraisal template but as its risky I dont want to use it.
Please advise.

Parallel process define for batch job

I would like to run a batch job with a few processes run parallel together. May I know where can i define it ? T-code ?

Hi Lauren,
First of all there is no transaction code as such.
First of all the report that needs to be run in background should enable you to do parrallel processing. For that code has to be written accordingly.

It gives details of function modules needed for this purpose.
After this you need to create a variant for the report and schedule it to run in background using either SE38 (dirrectly) or by creating a job explicitily- SM36.
A standard report that has parallel processing feature available is RBDAPP01.
Also check transactions like BD18. They also make use of parallel processing.

Where we will do configure Print Program & Layout for Process Order like
what we do in NACE for SD&MM related layouts!
Will this Process Order supports both SAP Script & SMART Forms!

Hi ,
In Process order transaction ,in output options declare the form name and output type. In TNAPR table in SE11 create on row with the above o/p type and form name. I think both forms will be possible.
Actually where ever script form possible means there you can create smartform also.

Window FUSS is not defined for form

But I am not calling any FUSS window name in my form.
The form was created in SMARFORM. And only FM SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME is being called by the program.

I would like to utlize the feature of process/phase/step configuration for appraisals by the Web Dynpro configuration for tab and process. I choose the "Process Configuration" tab, enter my appraisal template and period, and click "Start Selection". A warning is displayed "No process defined for <my appraisal template>". Clicking on "Add" and no matter what I did, I don't seem to be able to maintain any process/phase/step into the "Configure Available Elements for Process" table. What is the pre-requisite to maintain and configure the Process/Phase/Step(s) ?
How do I maintain the in preparation, in planning etc statuses in here, I created templates using SAP defined templates for ex: templates for performance feedback etc., statuses are maintained in there by default.
Can you please suggest anything?

Hi Munny, I am experiencing the same condition. I have released my template and when I go thru the IMG to the 'Define Tabs & Process Configuration' selection I get the browser screen for setting up the tabs and process. I click on the Process tab and see the screen but the New and Delete buttons are not active (grey'ed out). I toggled my review template (cancelled release and re-released) to see if it changed the symptoms but it did not.
All - are there other conditions that must be met before setting up the Process steps vis the IMG ? I have all of the Status/substatus config complete and it shows up in the right side, but I cannot add anything to the left side to define the process.

Define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template (HAP_TA_CONF)

I am currently building a new appraisal template for my client and I have configured the process timeline in the development system via the IMG node Define Tabs and Process Configuration for Template (transaction code HAP_TAB_CONF).
Does anyone know how to transport the tabs and process configuration through the system landscape?
We are on SAP ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pack 4

I have used the report RHMOVE30 as you recommended and it worked perfectly in one run. I did not have to create custom relationships. I simply selected all the Process Item (VH) objects for my appraisal template and ran the report.
Many thanks for your help. It has saved me having to configure the tabs and process timeline in each client.

I have created the New Appraisal Template for 2015 review in Dev. Now i need to transport the Apparisal template into QA system. Do i need to create the transport for Category as well or directly i can create the transport for Apparisal template?

The below should work.
IMG>>Personnel Management>>Personnel Development>>Objective Setting and Appraisals>>Transport Template and Dependent Configuration Data
Tcode: PHAP_TRANSPORT.
Enter the Appraisal Template ... include the Category, if required and provide the TR.
Once you execute, you will get list of all Appraisal elements (VA, VB, VC), choose required ones, and include them in the TR.
Please click on the 'i' button to read more about this report (Courtesy: SAP documentation).
With this program, you can transport all of the related objects and their related data to another system (such as a live system or client) for an appraisal template (object type VA) or appraisal process ((flexible appraisal process or predefined Performance Management process); (process element object type VH)).

Hi Vimal,
If you are using EHP1 to EHP3 then for appraisals we dont have a standard iView available in ESS MSS. From EHP4 SAP has provided a standard iView for appraisal.
EHP1- EHP4- Supports BSP applications and EHP4 is on Webdynpro applications
For EHP-EHP3, you can access the appraisal docuemnt on portal by:
Goto SE80-> Select BSP Application-> Select HAP_DOCUMENT -> Right Click and Click on Test.
You will get a window showing list of BSP applications available for appraisal template/ Document to be viewd on portal.
For Employee use: received_open3.htm
For MAnager use: todo.htm
for Further participants use: where_participated.htm
For EHP4, appraisal templates will be available in the stadrad iView

Appraisal Template-Cancel Release

Hi All
Please suggest for the following.....
I created an Appraisal Template in PHAP_CATALOG.
Then I released it & created some Appraisal Documents. Now I want to make some changes in the Template but for that I have to cancel the Release first.
So, I deleted all the Appraisal Documents using PHAP_ADMIN.
But, now when I try to cancel the release system doesnt allow me & throws the following error.....
''The element you have chosen is already being used in an appraisal document or anonymous appraisal.''
Although I have deleted all the Appraisal Documents using PHAP_ADMIN.

Yes, you are absolutely correct even though there are no appraisal documents existing for an appraisal template at times system gives this error message, i think there is some problem with the standard SAP itself. I have also faced this issue and for testing purpose i have used a custom deletion program which would delete the documents from the database directly (RHHAP_DISPLAY_DB), I was not bothered to create an OSS message since this scenario is not a PRD scenario.
Try creating a OSS msg for this issue.

Approval process workflow for Customer XBO

Hi experts,
We have a client requirement which asks for multilevel approval process for Accounts (when a new Account is created/ existing Account is changed). As per my knowledge, there is no standard approval process defined for Customer XBO as of now by SAP.
Also, if the Account creation/modification is 'Rejected' by any manager, then how will the Account be reverted back to its original version? (kind of a rollback)
I had raised an incident for this asking the SAP team whether they will be adding any approval processes for Customer BO in the near future C4C releases. But they do not have any plans of implementing it sooner.
They suggested a workaround as follows:
Add 1 extension field "approval status code" in Account with code values:
1 - To be approved by L1 manager
2 - Approved by L1
3 - Approved by L2......etc for more levels of approval
Reverting 'Rejected' Account to previous state is not possible via PDI. In principle you would have to read the changehistory data and revert to the state before the change was done. But the changehistory BO is/will not be PSM released.
Any workaround or suggestions on how can I go about implementing this requirement? I need to put validations like L2 can approve only after L1 approval.
Please guide and help.

Hi,
why don't you create a screen from which user will create or modify the accounts. after submitting the custom screen , you should start the approval process, once all the approval is done, create or modify the account in SAP.
