No properties can be maintained for the selected node (MTE)

Hi!
I would like to set up the user defined alerts, e.g. Shortdumps frequency for satellite system from SOLMAN.
The access of the MTE on the satellite system goes without any problem
(<SID>\...\R3 Abap\Shortdumps frequency)
When I set up this alert via System Monitoring and try to access it by double clicking I get the following error: No properties can be maintained for the selected node (MTE).
Has some one some ideas how to solve this problem?
Any helpful information will be appreciated.

Please ensure you have enough(like S_RFCACL) authoraization in both Solman and Your satellite system

Hi,
Before the recent update of the search bar, you could select your "current" search engine, and a search for the selected text (right-click on selection) would use that engine.
Now, it seems that you can only search for the selected text using the default engine. If that's correct, this is a major step backwards for me. For instance, I can't have Google as my default search engine, and search for a selected text on eBay!
Or am I missing something?

To create link for the selected named destination..

Hello,
I am getting list of Named Destinations(Title of the named destinations) using cos object values.
I will be storing those titles in combobox. I want to create link for the selected named destination.
I tried to set destination for the link using cos object value of the selected name destination.
cosPageValue is cos object value of named destination.
CosObj cosArrayDest = CosNewArray( cosDoc, true, 2 );
CosArrayPut( cosArrayDest, 0, cosPageValue );
But it has given me an Unhandled Exception.
I am not able to get destination page number for the named destination.
Please suggest me how do I can create link for the selected named destination?

I seem to recall (don't have the docs handy) that there is a higher level
PDDest object and a PDAction object - you might want to look at using those
higher level objects (created via PDXXXFromCosObj) if you are having trouble
working with Cos.

RFUMSV25 - deferred tax- error FR472 - No target maintained for the tax on

Hi gurus!
When I run RFUMSV25 for Transfer postings for deferred tax I get this error:
Message no. FR472
No target maintained for the tax on sales/purchases code selected
I have trouble solving this, cause this error doesn't occure in our testing enviroment but only in production.

Hi Marina,
As you might be knowing, the report RFUMSV25 is run for transfer posting from the main tax code to a deferred tax code. As the name suggests, you have to maintain a target tax code for each main tax code.
Hence, in tcode FTXP, create a deferred tax code. Say for V1 you can maintain a deferred tax code X1.
Then go the main tax code, say in our example V1
Click on the properties tab, and assign the deferred tax code X1 in the 'Target tax code' field.

i have maintained material chapter ID,Plant and materialchapter id combination ,assessable value , cenvat determination, and vendor excise details in the transaction J1ID .
Even after maintaining all these conditions , i am not able to save the po,while saving the po i got a error message that assessable value not maintained for the material X..

Search using approriate keywords in SDN, u get most of the details, i have now done the same searched and have pasted below .
Try ME2N.
Click on the "dynamic selections" icon and add the release indicator as an additional selection. Enter the release indicators that you class as "awaiting approval" and you will then have your list.
The ME2* series of transactions are not that much use prior to 4.7, the layout is poor. But if you have 4.7 or later you can get the screen to use the ALV format and this transforms the ME2* (i.e. ME2L, ME2M, ME2N etc.) transactions into VERY useful reports.

No nutrient listing maintained for the nutrient group

I have maintained the nutrients in the nutrient group. I have given the area, UOM. I can find the nutrient group in the drop down while chaning the recipe. But once i select the nutrient gorup i get the warning message "No nutrient listing maintained for the nutrient group." I am not able to understand what's wrong. Planning file enteries in OMDO for every plant then system will atomatically update the planning file for every material that have valid MRP data.
If MRP is active for the plant and you have maintained the MRP views then planninf file enteris will be automatically made by the system when there is change relavant to MRP.
Check table MDVM to see whether there is an entry created after executing transaction MD20?
You can also run program RMMDVM20 to create planning entries.
MDAB : Set up planning file entry in background
MDRE : Check planning file entry
Can you check the MRP type for the material in material master (MM02)?

User exit/BADI required for coding for the selection custom fields in RSA3

I have a requirement in the Datasource extractor. I need to add custom Z fields in the Data souce of the 2LIS_02_SCL and need to include in the selection part. So I have added the custom filed in the append structure and include the check in the selection checkbox in the transaction LBWE under the datasource specified above. For the corresponding custom fields, to be populated in the ALV list, I have written the code in corresponding user exit ZXRSAU01.
Now I can view my custom Z fields in the list as well as on the selection fileds while executing the transaction RSA3. But I need to write code for the selection criteria part. On entering value in the selection criteria of my custom z field, no values are selected to the corresponding query. Please let me know where should i write the coding part for the selection criteria of the Z fields for the Datasource.
On debugging, to my understanding only the standard fields are alone getting filtered by providnig the values in the selection part of the RSA3 tcode. It is called in Macros : Sel < Datasorce> .... and the fetch cursor is included inside the macros.
Please let me know any user exits or Badi;s available for it.

No data media can be created for the proposal run - Bacs Payment

When i schedule program RFFOGB_T for bacs payment and select proposal run only i get the following error "No data media can be created for the proposal run". But when i execute the program with out selecting the check box " Proposal run only...a file was getting generated...Could any onle pls help me resolve this problem.

How many entries can we put in the select options

As per my requirement I am trying to store the data in the select-option( s_kunnt) as below
select kunnr from kna1 into (l_kunnr) where
            and spart in p_spart.
move 'I'         to s_kunnr-sign.
move 'BT'        to s_kunnr-option.
move l_kunnr to s_kunnr-low.
move l_kunnr to s_kunnr-high.
append s_kunnr.
endselect.
Using s_kunnr in the select statement to fetch the data.
When the customer numbers are more than 1800 in the s_kunnr, select statment going to the dump. Is number of entries in the select options are restricted for some count( around 1800)?.
How many entries can we put in the select options?

Firstly, there is an error in your code. You should do the following instead:
move 'I' to s_kunnr-sign.
move 'EQ' to s_kunnr-option.
move l_kunnr to s_kunnr-low.
append s_kunnr.
To answer your original question, the limit depends on the field width you are using in the ranges. If the field width is small, you can have thousands of entries in the range table.
The limitation is in the length of the SQL statement string generated by the ABAP OPEN SQL engine. With the way I defined it above, the statement would have WHERE KUNNR IN ( 'value1', 'value2', 'value3'). With way you defined it, it would have WHERE KUNNR BETWEEN 'value1' and 'value1' and KUNNR BETWEEN 'value2' and 'value2'.
When the range table is so large that it results in a short dump, you should look into FOR ALL ENTRIES option of SQL.

Hi
If you have to determine a vendor, the minimum requirement is Info record. Beyond that, you can ofcourse maintain Source Lists, Quota Arrangements but Info record is bare minimum for automatic determination of vendor.
Otherwise, you have to maintain the vendor manually in th Purchasing docs.
Tcodes for Info record are ME11, ME12, and ME13.

I am facing with a very strange thing.
I am implementing a File_to_IDOC scenario.
Therefore I created in XI system the appropriate Ports in tcode IDX1.
I use one business system with two clients (SAPERB100 and SAPERB200).
I defined there of course the appropriate RFC connections (RFC_IDOCERB100 and RFC_IDOCERB200).
Unfortunately when I go into tcode IDX2 and try to load metadata I get the following error:
No RFC destination is maintained for the port 'SAPERP'
Message no. IDOC_METADATA455
Diagnosis
No RFC destination has been maintained for logging on to this system for the port SAPERP.
This means that no structure information can be provided for this port.
Procedure
Maintain the required RFC destination for this port.
Can some one help me to solve this problem?

You need to have a RFC destination created for XI server type 3 (ABAP) to push IDOC from ECC. Similarly you need RFC destination in XI towards ECC to load IDOC / RFC metadata.

GPO - Restricts the UI languages Windows should use for the selected user - not applying correctly on RDS 2012 R2

Hi All,
we have a Citrix XenApp 7.5 Farm with Windows Server 2012 R2 Servers and multiple (english, german, italian, spanish, french...) languages installed.
I've created a GPO with settings 'Restricts the UI languages Windows should use for the selected user' to for example 'German'.
Now when a user logs on to the server, the UI language is in german, but when i open Control Panel\Language: There is still English (United States) with Keyboard Layout: US, German.
It seems that the GPO is not changing all settings correctly to german.
Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Based on the description, the policy setting should have been applied successfully. Here, did we logged onto the server via remote desktop services? If yes, what's the keyboard layout on the computer we used to RDP to the server? Before going further,
I assume that this can be caused by Auto detect Remote Keyboard layout feature introduced since Windows Server 2008.
